I love this place! The owners Lisa & Jack (siblings) are extremely nice & very loyal to their customers. I am a recent college grad & have been going here since I was junior in high school. I live in Pfafftown, but find the drive to Lewisville definitely outweighs the cost of going to another salon (such as Friendly Nails, which is closer to my house). Their prices are UNbeatable & they actually take the time to know their customers. They ask my how I'm doing every time I go in & seem genuinely interested, & make their customers feel at ease. I have struggled with nail biting for years & usually just stick to acrylics. Thus being said, if I am going through a stressful time, I may have to make appointments between fill-ins to get repairs, & they don't charge me an arm and a leg for them, thank god!They also do GREAT pedicures & I am always impressed with their quality. They don't switch off between customers or anything that like I have experienced at various other nail salons (such as having one person do your nails & another paint them, etc.). They take their time & make sure that I am still satisfied with the colors I've chosen & the way that my toes & nails look before getting too far into the mani or pedi. I definitely recommend this place! I've watched them grow & vice versa & it is nice to have found a reliable place to go get my nails & toes done. Wonder Nails was very disappointing. My nail tech Lisa was all but rude, rushed thru the pedicure with barely a touch to any rough spots on my feet. The manicure was as bad or worse. It was a shellac manicure and not only did she cut my nails to the quick, she argued that I didn't tell her not to when I ask that they be shorter. It was rushed and poorly performed. The other issue I have is Lisa is always tired and complaining. The last thing I want to do is go somewhere that is supposed to be relaxing and have someone complaining. I've come here two consecutive years for pedicures before prom. They are friendly and don't tend to hurt my feet as much as other places (don't you hate that?!), plus the prices are very good in comparison to other salons, especially for what you get! I can't stop looking at my toes; they look great! They massage your calves and everything, and a pedicure is $25, +$5 for French. I also got my fingernails done in French last year; the language barrier meant he didn't really give me exactly what I wanted, but it still looked great.
