Changed my rating due to poor service. Went in for a pedicure that should of been $28 but dude talked me into a treatment that was an extra $5 than talked me into a gel polish that I ASSumed was $10 extra but it's $20. Do the math that's $53 for a pedicure .Go to get my nails done full set that's $30 i ask for square shape she makes them uglyugly Duck feet looking than tells me the shape I want is $5 more .And didn't even give me that shape .So I tell her I don't want polish. Nice not to have to wait; she worked extremely quickly, but the work was decent--no extra trouble. I did sense that I'd be in trouble if I told her I messed up a nail putting my hand under the dryer (which I did), so I just fixed it at home. So...not super friendly, but quick and affordable. Asked for French full set and she said $40. She then proceeds to do my nails and when she is ready to do the French tip says it will be $15 extra. I had also asked her about a design on two of my nails and says it is $10 per finger. She wanted to charge me $75 over all plus tip. I made her stop... paid the $40 and left. She didn’t care one bit to understand why I was upset. After analyzing the situation I strongly believe she saw my jewelry and decided she could hussle me. I’m very upset! Went for the first time today for just a basic manicure. My nails look awful and she cut me FOUR times! Wish I could post pictures on here but I can’t. I came home and put antibiotic ointment on 4 of my nails. Hope they don’t get infected!! The nail polish looks horrible. Will never go again. Read Less

To begin, I’m not sure why I continue to set myself up for failure every few years thinking the service will improve. Today, I went for the last time with my sister and received a literal 7 minute - $30 pedicure that included lukewarm water, no massage, and no general chance for relaxation. Then proceeded to receive an equally as rushed and lackadaisical manicure that required my technician to go back and fix her already sloppy work. Another $30 for a subpar job. The staff made no effort to make myself nor my sister feel comfortable. After working all day, I was completely looking forward to a great, relaxing experience, but instead spent over $60 on a 30 minute rush job that I honestly could’ve done at home. Visiting from California and wanted to treat my daughter and granddaughter to a special outing. We decided to have pedicures for a fun Saturday. Upon arriving we were promptly greeted and escorted to our chairs. The employees were more interested in talking to each other in their native language, laughing and carrying on, which in my opinion, was incredibly unprofessional.  We chose the pedicure we wanted and they advertised a hot towel with essential oil for all pedicures, which we never received. I paid extra for callus removal which was rushed and not completed to even a satisfactory state.  I recommend finding another nail salon if you're ever in Knightdale, NC. I have been to this location several times with satisfactory experiences, but was very disappointed today. I was the only patron in the spa when I walked in. I asked if they could remove SNS polish, and they quickly replied they could. I was directed to sit at a chair and a woman came over to me. She asked if it was gel over tips, so I replied that no, it was SNS over my real nails. She continued to talk to the other staff members littered around the chairs in the public area on their phones, paying little attention to me. She began attempting to remove my nails with one method that failed, so she started another method. This was my first time getting SNS, so I wasn't sure what was required. After the second attempt, she asked me again if it was gel over tips, and I realized she didn't listen to me the first time. Once she realized this, she changed her removal method again. Between each method, she was doing her own nails across the desk from me, chattering loudly with the other staff members, on Facebook on her phone, eating, never checking in with me about timing, etc. I ended up being there for 45 minutes just for SNS removal and the woman ignored me the entire time...  once she was done I I was so ready to leave, only to realize that there is still a significant layer of clear substance on my nails! I was recommend to Embassy Nail spa from a friend. I must say I am very satisfied and happy I tried it. My guy Johnny did my nails and they are beautiful. I will continue to get my nails done here. PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP (LACK THEREOF) - I just left Embassy Nail Spa and can only describe my third and final visit there as subpar. At 2:30 p.m. they were not crowded; however, I received the fastest pedicure known to man. Barely scrubbed my feet - filing of my nails uneven - and a paint job that was quite 'messy' to say the least. I don't expect a two hour pedicure for $30/$40 but I expect that a reasonable effort be made - ESPECIALLY ON THE PAINT JOB!!! Never again will I go here. I've given them multiple tries. They never take the time on my eyebrows, and to make it worse my last visit I asked for round, and he said no I think square. He never scrubbed my feet but I paid for that. They rush through whatever they are doing for you. Not worth the money. Read Less

I took my Mom, 16 yr old daughter and myself there for pedicures. We were bullied to up our pedicure from the basic to deluxe. We said no multiple times and they kept going on and on about it. Then once we firmly said No thank you we were treated so mean. They didn't speak to us, barley did any of the usual ( trimming nails, buffing, getting off dead skin, etc...) It took my girl about 20 minutes from start to finish to do my toes. When she was done she just got up and walked away. Didn't even help me out of the chair or tell me to go to the dryer. Then when I went to pay the lady who did my mom's toes told me how much it was, I handed her my card, she swiped it, threw my card back on the counter, threw my receipt on the counter, never once made eye contact or said thank you. This business has the nastiest customer service! The women are not very friendly and have nasty attitudes.. They mock and laugh at their customers and make fun of them stay clear of these people! Sure they a little rude and you can't understand what they are saying but the last two times I have been for a pedicure the polish stayed gooey and had to be redone. Don't go here. I was seated for over 30 min because of a misunderstanding of the nail shape that I wanted. I asked for an almond shape and a French fade and not neither (even showed them pictures). Worst experience I've ever had. Less than one hour and I'm done with manicure pedicure and eye brows. At my old place in Maryland (where I'm from) that took at least 1.5 hours because they really took their time and massaged well etc. he got an attitude with me for just going for the basic pedicure and said "it was nothing". So for $28 I get nothing? I should have left right then. I'm sure he did a rush job on purpose to prove him right that I should have got a better package. I originally visited Sky Nails because I needed to find a salon that was open on Mondays. Now, a year later, we've moved to West Roseville and I *still* make the drive to get my mani/pedi here! I tried a more local salon with great reviews on Yelp, but it was nowhere near the same attention to detail and quality. Linda always does my gel manicure, and she is so meticulous and attentive. I don't recommend anyone to come here! They are very rude, and charge way up then what they say they do. My nails kept coming off and the lady told me that I did it on purpose. I've given this place enough chances and I continue to be disappointed! I normally go for either a pedicure and a eyebrow wax. I'm giving them one star and that is for the eyebrow wax, because I have never had an issue. The technicians are RUDE and they do not take their time when working on you, if you ask them to not do something specific...they do it anyways! They rush through painting and it doesn't last as long as when I go to other places! I have never been overly impressed with this salon. They lack a welcoming attitude. After selecting a technician, I stuck with her over the next few months tying to make the best out of every visit. Today will be my last visit. My steady technician berated me about a recent visit to my place of employment. I made no response but it was clear that I was no longer welcome here. My hubby and I had a pedi here and while the prices were a little bit higher than other places, I think it was worth it.  I didn't catch the names of the women who did them, but I remember one of them being pretty young and the other was a bit older and had highlights in her hair.  They were both really nice and attentive, and we felt great when we left.  I also had my nails done (mani and acrylic fill with gel polish) - Yen did them and while she could have been a bit friendlier, she did a beautiful job.  I had been to another salon (Loyalty Nails in Clayton) and they did a horrible job, so Yen cleaned them up for me.  I will definitely be going back.The only thing I will say is be careful about hidden charges - I expected my fill/mani to be $32 and didn't realize she was charging me an extra $10 to buff my prior nail job.  She didn't tell me until I was cashing out.  Not a big deal, but it doesn't hurt to ask before you have services done.  It cost my husband and I about $115 for two pedis and my nail job.  This wasn't including the tip.All in all, I would highly recommend this salon.  The decor is gorgeous, they have a million pedi chairs and nail stations, and it is immaculate.  Also, as the other person noted, they have an awesome little area for children to have pedicures...portable DVD players, cute chairs, the whole bit.
