I got shellac polish on Friday and the polish was already chipping the next day. I figured I'd cut my losses and never go there again, but then I started to think about that $62 I spent and decided to go have them not fix, but redo my nails. Lee* was rude, the lady who actually did my nails that Friday was busy with a customer, okay that's fine, can someone else help me since I'm on my lunch break? Lee was insistent that the original nail tech fix it. I asked her, can you at least start the process of getting the polish off, her response was No. One hour passes, I finally sit in the chair, 8 of my 10 nails all have chips, and the tech is looking at them like all she was going to do was polish over them. Reluctantly she starts the process of soaking them off, exactly what I asked Lee to do an hour earlier. The nail tech polishes my nails over, but then when it's time to apply the top coat, I'm clearly looking at the bottle and it says base coat. I figured maybe this was a trick to make the polish last longer and not chip, and that the last coat would be done with the top coat polish that brings the shine to the polish, so I let her do her job. After she finishes two coats of base, she let them uv dry and then she gets the alcohol to clean them & send me on my way. I said maam these aren't glossy, why did you use base coat as the top coat? First she tried to insinuate that it was in fact top coat, even though I pointed to the word base on the polish, then she and Lee talked and they both try to act like base coat and top coat served the same purpose.. So I asked then, why isn't it glossy then? Reluctantly she go get some top coat and then apply one coat on top on the base coat she had just done. She cleans them off with the alcohol, and I can now see the gloss or shine. I asked how much do I owe? She and Lee talked and she says it's free.ummm ya damn right it's free, I wanted to see how shiesty they were if they tried to charge me. Never going there again!!! Read Less
