This is my go to nail salon. They have changed names a few times but the services has always been good. There is usually a crowd in the mornings-early afternoon but they usually get to you quickly. It does help to have an appointment during those times if you don't want to wait. Read Less

I have tried many nail salons and found very few to be satisfactory for long but I have been going here for months and find that nothing every changes. Royal Nails is the best. I go every 4-6 weeks for manicure/pedicure and I won't go anywhere else. There are always enough employees available and I have never had to wait for service. All the employees are courteous and knowledgeable of all services available. Royal Nails is always clean and it is very spacious. I love this place. I would highly recommend Royal Nails to anyone! I love, love, love this place! I have been to several nail salons in my life, and this hands down is the best one I have visited. I go about every 4-6 weeks and is my go to for manicures/pedicures. The place is always clean, and always has a full, friendly staff to accommodate customers with little to no wait time. I always feel welcome when I walk in, and leave relaxed and happy with my nails. I'm happy to have finally found a high quality, friendly salon. I got a pedicure and SNS nails with extensions because I bite my nails. Juliette made sure I was satisfied with them. She did a great job! I didn't feel rushed or like I was a burden at all like some do at other salons. Amber did my pedicure and also did a wonderful job. She did a nice massage! ...Cindy had introduced herself and ensured that I liked my services. I've never even met a manager at any other salon I've been to. Been going here a long time.  First few times the girl tore the skin on about every finger.  They take a long time, unless you get the right one.  This last pedicure took 2 hrs. And the owner had to redo a few.  Finding another place. Given them too many chances. If you do go get a good one and stick to them. Read Less

I normally go to Super nails in Greensboro even though it is out of my way. I've been to Royal nails twice. The first time, I said that I would never go back. I had a bad experience the first time. The technician was rude, didn't say one word to me and he did a very sloppy job on my nails and I was very displeased. However I decided to give them a second chance. Yesterday i came in and saw Jessie. Even though they were very busy, I was able to get right in and not have to wait. She suggested that I try SNS and I am HIGHLY satisfied. I had never heard of this new process before but Jessie was very enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, and kind. So I thought, what the heck...I trust her, and I am really glad that I did. Instead of using the grinder and the horrible acrylic or gel, She was able to make my real nails look fantastic! I had never dreamed that my natural nails could have ever looked this good. This nail salon clearly has many good reviews, but I had two of my worst nail salon experiences ever here a few months apart. The first time, when I had a super rushed pedicure that was poorly done, I said I'd never go back. But someone I know who loves this salon convinced me to give them another try-so there were several months between my visits. This second visit was even worst than the first with another very rushed pedicure. (I am not joking in any way when I say each leg was massaged about 60-90 seconds, and the salon was NOT busy at the time.) The pedicure was sloppy, and didn't last very long, but the worst part was what was done during the eyebrow wax. Although there were several girls milling around with nothing to do, they were also all trying to eat lunch (at the same time) so I was sent into the wax area, and then left for about five minutes. I could clearly hear them deciding who would come do my wax (and yes, I know, I should have known better by this point!), finally a young girl was sent in. She clearly had very little experience in waxing as evidenced by the fact that she somehow managed to rip off a line THROUGH my eyebrow, making it look like my eyebrow was two separate sections! I was horrified, and there's no fixing that other than allowing it to grow for several months. I'll never step foot in this salon again, and I had no interest in discussing this with the owner as she was there the day this happened, and was hiring the staff. Again, obviously many people are happy here, but I'm clearly not the only person who has had really negative experiences like this either. There are certainly better alternatives in Kernersville.
