Made the trip from Stokesdale to Kernersville because I was excited a salon was open past 6 on a Sunday. When I arrived at 6:25 pm (they close at 7) for a 10 minute polish change. If you are looking for excellent, sanitary nail care and a friendly atmosphere, this is your place. I have been going here since it opened and will not go anywhere else. Has there ever been a wait, yes; however this can be avoided by simply making an appointment. Any concerns that I have had, I addressed with the manager and everything was handled professionally. Let me just start off by saying if I could pack Nicole up and move her with me I would. My family relocated to Texas a few years back and my daughter and I still miss Envy Nail Bar. Nicole did my families nails for 5 years and no one has compared since leaving her. If you love great service and a clean enviroment then Envy is the place for you. I have been here twice & the staff is VERY rude!!! Both times I've been here, I don't get greeted & the lady who does the talking has a nasty attitude. The first time I though okay I'm new & it's Sunday but the second time was on a Thursday & the way I was treated is unjustified! If you want to have good service do NOT come here. Four hours spent getting a basic pedicure and gel manicure... they are extremely understaffed and didn't seem to have any concern about that. I was originally told it would be a 20-30 minute wait to get my pedicure which was fine, then 3 and a half hours later I was finally called to do my manicure. Not once did anybody tell me how much longer of a wait it would be or apologize that it was taking so long. By the time I finally got to my manicure, she spent more time on her phone texting and making calls and talking all about her drama with the other girls working there. Good luck getting your nails done, I tried twice! I live 30 minutes away but was told this place was decent so I figured I'd give them a try. Imagine the inconvenience of driving way there only to be told the wait is over a hr long! The first time I tried there was a line when I walked in and the lady up front told me there was a 2 hr wait! I left and just assumed I caught them on a busy day. Today I tried again, please keep in mind it's a Wednesday afternoon, 2pm to be precise! I was pleased to walk in and see no one waiting and only 2 people being serviced. As soon as I told the lady at the front of the shop that I needed a full set she looked at me as if I was interrupting her day and asked if I could come back in a hr. Confused as to why I would have to come back considering that there were available nail technicians, I left and made sure to tell my friends that were meeting me there that we needed to take our business elsewhere. I haven't had my nail professionally done in years and I am so glad I went to Envy. I got a pedicure and my fingernails done. There was absolutely no wait for me, just went straight to the pedicure station. It's a quaint little place and it was SO relaxing. Mindy did my pedicure and she really took her time when massaging my legs. The staff is friendly and they are experienced in what they are doing. I will definitely be back for more pedicures!! I love envy. The designs are always super cute and the Instagram page is always updated so you can see the newest designs. I got gel polish for the first time here, and I'll nevvvvvver go back to acrylic. It's really nice to hear employees call you by name and greet you. I love that. I get the 'mood'/color changing polish during the winter months because that's the best time for them to consistently change color and I love my nails right now. Thanks envy Read Less

Worst nail salon! I had 2 bad experiences here and will never return. I had an appt for 12 o'clock had to go to work later that day. I got there and there wasn't a lot of ppl there which was good even though I made an appt. I was sitting for 30 mins before someone even came up to me to start my nails, after 40 mins go by, the manager decided she was going to have a salon meeting right in front of the few ppl that were in there, she didn't shut the door or anything! I heard the whole thing and she was getting onto her employees and I felt like they were wasting my time when that should have been done AFTER OR BEFORE HOURS! not while u have an appt waiting or even anyone in the salon! Very rude!! After 1 hr went by before nothing has been done at all to my nails I got so mad I walked out! Never returning! I was in town visiting and decided to get a manicure pedicure. I looked on their Instagram account and decided to give it a try. I was greeted immediately and seated in a pedicure chair. One bit of feedback is that the area where you pick out the nail color you want is quite dim. I wish it was a little better lit so that you can get a better idea of the colors offered. Other than that, the ambiance was nice. It was clean and seemed well kept. I enjoyed the complimentary drink and opted for wine. Mindy did my manicure and pedicure and while I was pretty pleased with the final product, I felt like she was in a hurry. There wasn't much soaking time and the massage on my legs and arms were minimal. There were a lot of people working and no wait, so there wasnt any apparent need to rush. Normally, salons have a mani/pedi package that is a little cheaper than doing them separately. However, this salon didn't have it and I paid $37 plus $5 for designs (two nails). The prices are more than I pay in Charlotte. Overall, I was pleased with the final outcome but wish there was more pampering / relaxation, especially considering the price. Read Less

I really like this place for pedicures. It's kind of hidden away in an old strip center, but inside it's very nice with a waterfall, relaxing neutral colors and 6 pedicure stations with black, leather massage chairs. It looks "classier" than several of the other frenetic Kernersville walk-in nail salons I've visited. I've only been on Sunday afternoons, but I've rarely had to wait long for service. The basic pedicure is $25.00, which is pretty typical for the area, and involves quite a few services including heated towels and salt scrubs. And did I mention the complementary glass of wine?
