The lady that did my nails was extremely friendly and professional. The salon was clean and well maintained, but my nails didn’t last a week. I got them done on Wednesday of last week. I had to go back on Monday because my thumb nail cracked, now here it is Friday, and I have 2 broken nails and the gel nail has chipped off of half my nails. Probably the worst nail treatment ever. really this lady was not well trained. half my nail wasn't painted. the gel they put on grief took ages to get off. It was my first time visiting this salon and it was great. I was greeted the moment I stepped in and the pedicure and manicure that I received was one of the best I've ever had. What a terrible experience, firstly your reception is the first point of contact with your customers, A friendly smile and a warm personality at the front desk will work to the benefit of a salon by making clients feel comfortable and welcome, I received none of that only ladies who seemed like they had no warmth and interest in the satisfaction of the client. It was extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant, then they had my appointment booked down incorrectly as gel nails ins...tead of gel toes the receptionist proceeded to scream from the front desk to the nail stations that my treatment had changed which is extremely unprofessional especially in a full salon.The nail tech did not introduce herself & squeezed me into the small pedi stations you have at the salon, where there were kids playing loudly & customers walking in & out from the therapy room on the right . Then to TOP it off the therapist's shares nail files how unhygienic, I have never experienced this at any other salon, a nail file was taken from another therapist as she used it on her client & used on my feet to file with no sanitation.Sanitation is one of the most important aspects of the nail salon industry. Proper sanitation prevents the spread of fungal and bacterial diseases from one client to the next and helps to ensure safe working conditions within the salon. They did a good job on my pedicure and nails, but terrible job on the painting, as for waxing. Don't ever ever ever ever ever do it. I went to get my underarms waxed and the lady acted as tho she knew what she was doing. She didn't. She ripped my skinned by over waxing in the same spots twice, and literally put so much was in one spot she had to peel the wax and cotton off with tweezers, she did all of this while having me sit in the back (unsanitary) on a pedicure stool. She used the same stick the entire time (double dipping). She placed the ENTIRE underarm at the same time, and used to 2 strips. Then had the audacity to pull slow!! Whatever could have go wrong went terribly wrong. As soon as I walked back there I should have politely turned the hell around. She asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. Great salon, very clean and they do excellent work. everyone that works there is very friendly. They make sure everyone that comes in leaves happy. I went on a Sunday and even though they were about to close they let me get a full set and even did a really nice design, they took their time and made sure I was comfortable and happy. Very rude and HOMOPHOBIC! They did not like the fact that I am male and wanted to get my toenails painted. Not only did they voice their opinions they also mocked me and made me feel out of place. The result was mediocre nails, at best, for twice the price. The fact that they were freely homophobic and saw no problem with it is ludicrous to me! I mean come on guys its 2013(and not to mention you work at a nail salon)...I will definitely not be returning to this nail salon. Read Less
