I WISH I CAN GIVE THIS PLACE A -0 STARS, I JUST LEFT FROM THIS SHOP, I DONT USUALLY GO HERE BUT IT WAS THE LAST RESORT CONSIDERING THE ROADS ARE SO ICEY, ANYWAYS....I WENT IN FOR A ACRYLIC FILL, WHEN I SAT DOWN THE MAN SUGGESTED THAT I GET A NEW FULL SET SINCE MINE WERE SO OLD I SAID OKAY.... PROBLEM#1 HE BEGAN TO TAKE MY NAILS OFF WITH A TOENAIL CLIPPER!!!!! This place has come a very long way since I was last there, so let me start by saying congrats to Manh the shop owner for her continued great work!!! And a special shout out to Hieu who's holding it down for the fellas in the nail biz!! Now for my review,Let me start by stating that I am a manual labor auto parts manufacturing worker, I'm constantly on my feet and working with my hands for 10-14 hr shifts depending on our work load so you can imagine that my hands and feet are NOT Prince Charming material, and I NEVER get manicures or pedicures because I figure why spend money if I'm gonna screw up my nails anyway...enter anniversary date and an appointment for the wife at regal nails before it was regal nails, I sat down here like the good hubby and waited for the spouse to finish when hieu asked if I wanted anything (mani/pedi) I respectfully declined but the wife said do it anyway, and as mandate decrees happy wife happy life, so I did...and for lack of better words HOLY CRAP MIND BLOWN!!! My feet felt like new, my bailed were clean and shiny...like how the hell does anyone get new hands and feet!? BY GOING HERE THATS HOW!!! Fellas...YOU NEED TO TRY THIS!!!! I rarely take the time to get a manicure for myself so it's a treat when I am able to. We had a 10 minute wait which wasn't bad but half way through my mom was left to wait for someone else to complete hers. It was over 1.5 hours by the time we left for two manicures. Very expensive mani+pedi that wasn't worth it at all. I still had cuticles on some of my nails and it was like I scrapped them off while they were still dry kind of thing you know what I mean😭. I love this place! Le does an amazing job, very clean and efficient. She really makes you feel like family. Very easy to get to, lots of parking, family just goes and shop while I get nails done. Doesn't even deserve a star!! Will never be going here to get my nails done again. The lady was rude and did a half ass job plus she don't even shape them how I wanted them, it's like she didn't know how to shape the nails!!!! I had to go back 3 days later and get my nails fixed the correct way!! If you want your nails done right the first time don't go here! Very upset with this place do not recommend them at all!! Although I had an appt, lash lady took her gal pal before me. :-/ Took about 30 minutes After my scheduled appointment time to finally be seen!ok so the lashes - if you're looking for mink, silk, Xtreme type lashes, This is Not that kind of place! These are cheap-o lashes you can buy at Sally's. But I wanted them! I needed them! It took lash girl about 20 minutes to put them on and they looked awesome BUT - she glued them on the Inside of my eyelid (yes I got a lot of glue In my eye, but she's so sweet, she gave me a tissue to wipe my tears) so I had this constant shadow, like my eyelids were  1/2 closed all the time. Fine, I'll deal with it but Thennnnn ... my eyes began to ache by bedtime! Side note: I swim, so it was HELL wearing goggles!! And I don't know if the chlorine affected anything or not, But I Never had issues when I wore mink lashes. Fine I trudged along and by day 3, I couldn't take it!! My eyes constantly itched & eyelids ached! I was wishing I had Freddy Krueger hands at this point! I rubbed oil based makeup remover to pry them off but I ended up ripping  1/2 of my already, non existent, real lashes off!! These people are thieves. Do not purchase a gift certificate ever because if it is misplaced, stolen or God forbid your house burns down it is gone for good. My fiance purchased a full mani and pedi for my birthday and the certificate was accidentally thrown out during cleanup.. The manager assured be that they can prove we paid for the service and even trace the certificate to see if it was used but she would not give us the service. I spoke to them 3 times and even went in person. My fiance and the nice lady at the regal customer service hotline also spoke to them and they still refused to accomodate me. The manager "promised" me, in an attempt to support her argument that I can go anywhere, including the walmart they are in and never get credited for a lost gift certificate, which is incorrect because I even took the liberty of confirming this with a walmart manager and presented the facts back to her but still she refused to give me the service. They are rude and have very bad ethics and if they think good customer service is just being able to put on a fake smile for a customers or give someone a decent pedi or mani they are wrong. They are yet to learn what good customer service is all about. They did not even attempt to help or accomodate me and were extremely dismissive everytime I spoke to them. I am extremely upset and outraged. I am an accountant and I know how alot of businesses work and to accomodate me would have been a simple process. I have been present situations where managers were very eager to accomodate friends of mine in a simular situations so I was very surprised and taken back when they refused to help me. I could have been a potiential long term customer because I recently moved to Jacksonville and I was trying to find a place to have my nails done. I will NEVER go there ever or even to another Regal Nails and I will be sure to inform my friends of my horrible experience so they too can save themselves any trouble if they were ever thinking about purchasing a gift certificate. There is no way I should have had to go through so much stress to get what is rightfully mind and still they refuse to give it to me. It speaks very badly on the franchise. All the big store the manager spoke about, including walmart, recognises the importance of good customer service but they refused to go an inch. Now the money that my fiance, a US Marine with limited income spent is lost and so is my birthday gift!
