I have been going to Yvonne off and on for over a year. I was initially impressed by her cheap prices and her nail designs.There have been times where I just was really disappointed in the quality of my nails and have gone to a another shop where they were more expensive but the quality was better. I ended up going back to Yvonne for the design and price point yet again. Its been several times when my nails were not painted on the sides or they chip very easily. She also puts the gel coat on unevenly and it just makes your whole nail look messy. The last straw was me taking my girlfriend who had just suffered a miscarriage to get her nails done to try to cheer her up. Big mistake! The nail tech John left Polish all over her skin and when she asked if he was going to remove it he said it will come off when you take a shower. It gets even worse. The very next day she sent me pictures and we had a video chat of how the shellack had peeled off of several of her nails. The very next day folks!! I told John and Yvonne about this and they said for her to come back in. They would take care of her. Some time had passed because we had snow and she still had complications with her miscarriage so she was not able to get back until about 2 weeks. They declined her and embarrassed her in front of a shop full of people. She even had me on the phone and Yvonne said she would not help her because of the time that has passed. Stating...this is my business... I can't do business like this. I'm out of $35 and what was supposed to cheer my friend up ended up being a nightmare! If you are looking for cheap prices, cheap quality of work, cheap customer service, and cheap product this is your place. I have since found a place where my nails do not chip as easily as they did with her and I am most certain it is due to the quality of the product she uses. She uses cheap product. Read Less

One star so I can tell my story and warn people that care about quality, professionalism, and great customer service to stay away from this place!! Had my toes painted by John, and was left with nail polish all over my toes, so I asked to get it fix, the answer was "it will come off in the shower" to that I answered that I had already taken one, and his answer was "shower again". I was shocked to say the least. I also end up doing the gel nails and I kidd you not, that same night 4 of them had pealed off and by the next day all of them did! So I call my friend (who paid for me) telling her about it, so she went by to explain the situation, they told her they will take care of it to just come in. I did like a week and some days later (due to the snow and medical complications, that my friend had explain to them, so I was not able to go in sooner or rather the next day). I got treated so badly in front of other customers and was so embarrassed because Yvonne was loud with my friend over the phone and I just wanted to run from that place. My friend was trying to take care of me and cheer me up, and they made my visit with them an unbearable one, not to mention I never got my nails done and my friend lost her money. I went here because it had good reviews on google. However I was not pleased at all. The staff is nice and the place is comfortable which is why I gave 2 stars. My nails at the end looked rushed. I got a fill in with gel nail polish and I’m not sure what happened. The polish never seemed to set right and left air bubbles, lint, finger prints in GEL polish. It honestly looks so bad. Also I’m used to a clean finish around the cuticle and it’s polish all over the place. The polish has already chipped on one of my nails. I promise I’m not trying to be that person and I usually don’t leave a bad review but I paid too much money to let this one go. Read Less

I take my teenager there often to get her nails done. Great prices and friendly staff. They always do a great job on her nails. We have been to other places, more expensive places here on Jacksonville and the quality of work does not compare. We will always come here. Read Less

Either this place started off great then took a nose dive or they ONLY specialize in nail DESIGN... Worse experience ever! Horrible service, unprofessional and poor quality of product and product application. I wasn't able to relax or enjoy my experience there at all. Between three people, not one could properly perform a full manicure or pedicure, figure out what polish went were, and the price was ridiculous! OMG. I CAN'T EVEN GET MYSELF TO GO BACK IN TO TRY AND GET THEM TO FIX THE MESS... Go at your own risk. Read Less

Well, this place might have great ratings on Google (like 4 or so) but I will not be coming back here, ever. It's not a place you come to pamper yourself, get professional service, and not a high quality manicure or pedicure. For what I paid for ($70) for gel mani and pedi, absolutely ridiculous. The whole experience was ridiculous. No sense of professionalism, experience in what the job requires, and un kept. Between the four technicians working, none had a clue what either one wanted the other to do for my nails. Rude between each other. To end this review, my nails look whatever. I could have spent my own time doing it myself and saved my $70... (why I pay others to do it, because they are better) worse experience, ever! Visit at own risk. Best place ever and won't go to anyone else! Yvonne does a fantastic job on my gel nails and wax. I am not a girlie girl but this is the ONE thing I do for me. I can't keep long nails due to my job so mine are super short compared to most of her clients. They virtually never chip/crack unless I'm doing something crazy. Even the fee times I have messed one uo, even when its my fault, she fixes it immediately, typically with no charge. I've never had them lift, mold, yellow etc. So so so happy!!!! what a waste of $$$$$!!!!! terrible experience. i think they use cheap products. do not have very good selection of polish. got gel nails there & they were falling off less than a week. have had gels b4 & they lasted 3 weeks no chipping and no nails needed to b fixed. I would tell them not to waste their money! It was expensive....& it turned out to be a very poor experience. I have had acrylic nails on & off for 10+ years and of course I've had my shaire of mishaps caused by myself. This time however I got a full set of acrylic nails, a pedicure, & my legs waxed. I was told that the hair would not start growing back for 2-3 weeks....LIE! Not even a week later I had stubble coming up!! Therefore, I had to shave my legs! My pedicure was probably the only decent part about it. Then, I had a full set of acrylic nails...HORRIBLE!!! I broke a nail completely off while I was detailing our armada...It ripped my actual nail off the bed!! Then as I was adjusting everything in the car so I could drive a nail comes off (thankfull it came clean off & left my actual nail in tact). Then 2 weeks & 1 day later I lose a nail while putting clothes in the washer, by unpacking a suit case from a trip,etc. Now, as I've said I've had acrylic nails on & off & I've NEVER had this poor of a job done. I am an outdoor girl, but I also like to be a girly-girly so when I've had nails I've put them through the ringer doing all kinds of stuff and NEVER had nails come off this easy.
