Went yesterday and paid $50 to have the lady cut the crap out of my cuticle (it still is painful) and have the nail polish peel off the next day. Never have a I had a worse experience at a nail salon. The lady who did my nails didn't even care about the fact that she cut me. It was bleeding so much & I had to ask for a cotton ball to stop the bleeding and a bandaid. She just kept wiping it off with a towel!!! Used to love this place but the last few times I've gone it's been so terrible. It's unorganized, they don't even have samples of the gel colors, the remodel looks messy, and the staff is very careless. Will not be back. Their customer service is top notch, even when busy they are quick to get you seated and a complimentary drink in hand. i've had acrylic nails for a long time and have never broken any of my nails before. the first time i got my nails done here, one of my nails chipped and the gel paint chipped off within a week. they also took off the acrylic nail on my thumb and didn't put a new one back on. i asked for coffin nails and they gave me square, but i was charged for the nail shape. Well, I've gone there forever out of sheer laziness and comfort. I have to laugh at that word, "comfort'". Let me explain. Well, I have been going to Cathy for years...she was nice, yes I will give her that, but gentle is not in her vocabulary. I had acylic nails for years, until tonight when she cut me for the 3rd time in the past year!!! I was done!!! She is rough and in a hurry and just looking for her next buck! She was removing an old set I had on. I told her she was hurting me! Next thing I know blood!! She practically cut the whole tip off! Very rude I went in for an eyelash service. And from the moment I walked in the nail techs looked at me like I was from Jupiter. I proceeded to speak with the eyelash tech and she goes we don't do those kind here I told her I'm aware I would like individual eyelashes. But she told me as if I could not afford it. My bestie Emilee lives off this exit, so I decided to stop here before I went to her house to go raid her closet for my Cali trip. How great of a friend is that?I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. There was a bridal party who had just arrived before me and a ton of other people. I picked my colors and was immediately sat in a chair. No wait at all. The girl working the desk was super organized. I was offered a beverage and away we go. My absolute favorite part of my pedicure is that it included a hot stone massage. It was so relaxing. Dear all other nail salons, please add this to your pedicures. PLEASE. My pedicure has lasted for almost a month (okay, I definitely am in need of one, but it still looks intact). My gel probably would've made it three weeks, but my nails grow super face so I started picking at it about two weeks later. Total cost for both was $60 before tip. I chatted with the girl sitting next to me at the nail bar. She said she comes here every two weeks to get her nails done. She spoke very highly of the salon and the people who work there.
