This was my second time getting my nails done at Nail 1st. So far, so good.  This location is just a quick drive down the street from me. I visited for the first time last month, and wanted to wait before writing a review. They were busy that day, and it was a little chaotic.  But, I still received great service. The place is clean and the ladies are friendly. I like that the ladies I've interacted with are friendly without being nosey or pushy.  I'm not the type to sit there and talk about my personal life for everyone to hear while getting my nails done. I have been places where I get asked personal questions that I felt obligated to answer. They have plenty of people working and lots of options for nail polish.  I just get the regular color and I'm happy to have it for 5 full days before it starts chipping. I will visit again. This morning I left Nail 1st in tears from the way I was treated by the owner...I have been a customer of Nail 1st since they opened the salon. For the last four years I have gone in every two weeks for a gel manicure & pedicure and they did a great job. This morning during my appointment (which I booked ahead of time) I took approximately 2 extra minutes (literally) picking out holiday colors for my nails. When the owner snapped at me. This is the conversation between her and myself...Owner: "You need to hurry up and pick a color. She has another appointment and you're taking too long!" Me: "Why would you talk to me like that? That is not polite! Is that how you treat your customers?"Owner: "She told me in Vietnamese that you're giving her a hard time!"Me: "I'm not giving her a hard time. I'm always kind and think she does a great job. I was just picking out a color. You are being so rude to me!"Owner: "If you don't like it, you can leave!"Me: "I've been your customer for years, I can't believe you'd treat me like this?!"Owner: "Stop talking to me! You don't have to come here!"The owner told my nail technician not to charge me. I paid anyway and left a tip. But I won't be returning. Nails 1st is the only nail salon I go to in the area. My manicures last the longest than any other place...and I am rough on my nails tapping away at a computer keyboard all day. The salon is clean and beautifully designed. All the technician are friendly and know what they are doing! I always get a seat within minutes of walking in the door. Read Less

I usually go to a more expensive salon, but this one is closer to me. I got the best manicure I've had in a long time and the service was great. I came in right before closing and wouldn't have blamed her for rushing through- she took her time to get it perfect and was so kind, even though she wound up staying late. Making this my new salon. I agree with customer service is terrible I have my new set put on Monday September 11th and 4 days later I noticed that the tips were too small for my nail bed on day 5 half of my thumb nail was cracked and a day 6-3 other fingers you can see lifting so I came back on day 7 and was treated very rudely and was told that my nails need other salon I was told that my nails are no good for gel I said how long have you been doing nails Lisa replied 22 years I said I've been getting my nails done 35 years she says well maybe you should start doing your own nails very rude I will not return and my nails do not look even they'll be okay until I can get to a better salon. Also when I came in the salon I was quoted $25 + 10 then I was told that if I spend 40 I could get gel then they asked me for 50 so very bad communication and manipulative Behavior Read Less

This is my local nail salon.  Not sure why the low reviews.  It's clean, fast, and courteous.  There is never really a wait as they have plenty of technicians.  About a year ago they remodeled the salon and there are all new pedicure chairs and manicure stations.  The pedicure chairs are very modern/nice with comfy leather, built in USB charging for your phone or tablet and a little hook to hang your purse on plus a cup holder.  The massage is nice and quiet and the controls are not worn out like other salons.  They also put a plastic liner in the pedicure foot tub for hygienic reasons which I appreciate.  The technicians also wear rubber gloves.  Costs are reasonable too.  $25 for basic pedicure and $30 for a deluxe.  I come here fairly often to get pedicures and have had a few manicures.  I will be back. We called and made appointments for 3 pedicures and 1 manicure. I made appointments so that we could all get our nails done at the same time and sit next to each other for the pedicures. Neither of these things happened. Staff was very rude about the situation, even got loud with my friend for asking if it was possible to get at least 2 pedicure chairs next to each other.  My pedicure took forever because the guy doing it kept looking at the front door, the drying station, the back, anywhere but at what he was doing.  He also has zero hand strength- when I get my feet done I want smooth feet! It was like he couldn't hold the file firm enough. Not only was the customer service terrible but the services were subpar as well. 3 out of the 4 of us left with smudged nails. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else but if you must go make sure you avoid the guy with a combover if you need your nails done correctly and timely. Read Less

This was my first time to Nail 1st Salon on Sunset Lake and Holly Springs! Plenty of staff for a Saturday so there was no wait. Staff is super nice. Reasonably priced and very clean. Staff is very attentive and eager to satisfy  every client. Can't say enough, glad i chose this salon. Read Less

My nails turned out great - don't get me wrong, but the customer service isn't good at all. Maybe it was just a bad day for the lady that did my nails but I am definitely not coming back. A few situations where they were very pushy and would say rude things. My nails look good though. Read Less

Nails 1st Holly Springs is by far the best nail salon in the area. The salon is always clean and excellent condition. In fact Lisa, the owner, is installing new pedicure massage/chairs and manicure tables and chairs. Lisa and her staff always makes the customer feel special. Love Nauls 1st Holly Springs. Read Less

Mom and I were looking to get Manicures around the Holly Springs area and decided to check out Nail 1st. We walked in when they first opened and, luckily, they were able to fit us in! After debating a nail polish color for way too long, we were seated beside each other for our service. I thought that the overall experience was good but the polishing of the nails was not the best that I have received before. In the end I would return, a $13 manicure is a great deal!
