So I came to nail salon before and they did a good job and I decided to come back today... WORST decision ever. To start I wasn't asked if I would like something to drink like everyone else was. On t...
So I came to nail salon before and they did a good job and I decided to come back today... WORST decision ever. To start I wasn't asked if I would like something to drink like everyone else was. On top of that every place I've gone to uses the foil and cotton method to remove gel polish (even the time before they used foil) but for some reason this lady decides to make me soak my nails in a bowl of acetone. I told her I didn't like to soak my nails because it makes them weak but she proceeded to ignore me and do it anyway.
Fast forward to my pedicure, she decides to cut my nails down without even asking me! Then as she's filing my big toe she cuts me with the file and I kindly let her know it hurt. So we get to the polishing.. instead of her neatly polishing she paints all over the place and didn't attempt to clean it up along the way. At the end she attempts to use the brush and acetone to clean the polish off, mind you she cut me earlier so she puts that acetone on there and when I tell you it burneddddd! So I tell her it burns because you cut me and she proceeds to say "I didn't cut you, if I did it would be blood, the file just hurt you." I get that, but the file didn't put itself to my foot and cut me, it was the person using it.
Anyway back to my nails, at this point I'm super annoyed but I'm trying to get through it. She then proceeds to use the drill to file my nails and claims because I'm not getting a manicure she has to do that. What?! I've literally been getting gel manicures for years every two weeks and I've never heard that. At that point I was done. I told her I didn't want my nails done anymore and left. Of course they still charged me the $5 to take the gel off and I didn't even care at that point because I was so ready to get out of there.
(All of this was happening simultaneously)
What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into an experience from hell. I won't return.

So I visited this nail shop only bc my nail tech quit..I will say they were nice and quick but I was very upset bc I asked if they had sugar glitter and was told they did..when they did not say until ...
So I visited this nail shop only bc my nail tech quit..I will say they were nice and quick but I was very upset bc I asked if they had sugar glitter and was told they did..when they did not say until after my nails were done...which meant I had to change my entire plans for my nails..my sister wanted super pointed nails she got oval not to mention she was cut when they lady was taking the polish off..I will not be back nor will I recommend this shop

Today was my first day going here. I have tried several other nail places in High Point, but hadn't really found what I was looking for. Today, Elite Spa was perfect. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and the place was clean. I also like that they do not reuse files to help limit contamination. I haven't been so relaxed at a nail salon in a while, and am thrilled I listened to the other positive reviews and gave Elite a chance. My pedicure was perfect, and so was my manicure. I finally found my "go-to" salon.

I went for a pedicure. I got the olive oil pedicure. Foot and leg rub...hot towel treatment on legs and feet. It was very nice. The chair massaged my back and neck. The music was laid back spa. It did not reek of Acetone...you know the usual smell of a nail salon. It was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed my experience. My feet and toes look great amd feel great. I'm a waitress..so on my feet a lot..and its been almost a week and I'm still happy with results.

Went here for the first time today after a coworker recommended them. Got short stiletto nails and was SO nervous after seeing others getting them done and having bad experiences. I am thrilled with my fresh claws and the Matte finish is perfect. Everything I hoped for! Will be returning.

First time coming here and there are no complaints. The interior was beautiful and calming. I liked how the area was divided as in the front is for manicures and the back is for pedicures. The staff was pleasant and offered wine and water. I got a mani-pedi and was pleased. I will be coming back.

I have had both pedicure and manicure on a regular basis over the last three years, I have always had a professional and pleasant experience. I find the staff to be friendly, even if they don't always speak English well, although some do. They are polite And efficient. The prices are very competitive this service is always good. I have had experience of many other salons and this is well worth a visit.

I've been to about every nail salon in town and this one by far is the best one. They honor your appointment time and never make you wait. Most salons in town will set an appointment with you but ultimately they do not honor it. They'll start the nail service process on you but then leave you to work on someone else and basically they've locked you in because you're sitting there with your hands all jacked up in solution or whatever and can't leave.
The staff at Elite Spa are very friendly...very fluent in English and speak clearly (to dispute another review I read) and quite frankly, we have great conversations and laugh a lot. I've worked with a number of different Nail Technicians there and my experience each time has been the same.
And another point to make is they are careful and gentle with you. They aren't drill heavy - they take their time and make sure your nails are to your liking. Other salons are working so quickly that they burn you or cut your cuticles to where they are bleeding because they are working too fast...trying to get back to the poor lady that's been soaking for an hour! Ha!

Nice ambiance and friendly staff that held nice conversations if you chose too. My eleven year old loved Monica!! Will definitely be back!

I would strongly recommend that No one goes here, not only did the woman completely forget that I was waiting to get the dye washed off my eyebrows, she threaded them before the tint and has caused a severe infection on my eyebrows. They were all really rude and gave awful service. Avoid!

Terrible lash / brow treatment, appalling service. The therapist did not speak to me once, even to explain she was putting tint on my lashes and to keep my eyes closed. Followed up by an extremely rude and aggressive manager at the cash desk. I am really laid back, yet she was shouting at me just for asking a question, not sure what happens to the fussy customers! Would not recommend this place at all.

So I came to nail salon before and they did a good job and I decided to come back today... WORST decision ever. To start I wasn't asked if I would like something to drink like everyone else was. Today was my first day going here. I have tried several other nail places in High Point, but hadn't really found what I was looking for. Today, Elite Spa was perfect. Staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and the place was clean. I also like that they do not reuse files to help limit contamination. I haven't been so relaxed at a nail salon in a while, and am thrilled I listened to the other positive reviews and gave Elite a chance. My pedicure was perfect, and so was my manicure. I finally found my "go-to" salon.

I went for a pedicure. I got the olive oil pedicure. Foot and leg rub...hot towel treatment on legs and feet. It was very nice. The chair massaged my back and neck. The music was laid back spa. It did not reek of Acetone...you know the usual smell of a nail salon. It was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed my experience. My feet and toes look great amd feel great. I'm a waitress..so on my feet a lot..and its been almost a week and I'm still happy with results.

I have had both pedicure and manicure on a regular basis over the last three years, I have always had a professional and pleasant experience. I find the staff to be friendly, even if they don't always speak English well, although some do. They are polite And efficient. The prices are very competitive this service is always good. I have had experience of many other salons and this is well worth a visit.
