I’m very disappointed in the customer service at Golden Hands nail salon. I had been going there for approximately 6 months and Liz had been doing my nails every 4 weeks. I get a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure each time and they would never lift or break, which is how long acrylic nails should last. However, the last two times that I had my nails done they started popping off within the first three days and the gel Polish bubbled up and peeled off of my toes. The first time this happened, I called about having them fixed and Liz told me to come in and she would fix my nails and toes for me, I assumed at no charge. Well she did fix my nails, but did not have time to fix my toes and charged me $50!!! And, I even brought my own acrylic for 2 of my “accent” nails bc they didnt have the color I wanted & I left it there, which cost $17. I own several day spas, however we only do gel nails at my spas and I developed an allergy to gel, so this is why I began going here and why I have access to nail supplies. Again, my nails started popping off after 3 days and in 1 week they had all either lifted or popped off (except the 2 that were done with the OPI brand acrylic that I brought). I called and asked for the owner and she said to come back Monday (which is my only day off) and Sarah would fix them for me. So, I came in today and Sarah fixed my nails (they looked good other than I asked for almond shape and she gave me stiletto shape), but we will see how long they last. And, Ashley redid my pedicure. So, I thought maybe I would be asked to pay for the pedicure (but did not feel I should have too since I had already paid $50 for the redo on my nails), but not the gel polish (since that part did not last), but I did not expect to have to pay for the stones on my nails (bc I had paid for them on the nails that popped off or lifted), the pedicure AND the gel polish. Well, I was charged $78, which I feel is poor customer service! I am a regular customer who tips very well and am disappointed I was treated this way and no effort was made to make things right with me. The owners daughter Melody was not very nice, either, and said “if these nails pop off too than you just need to find another salon”. Well, that’s what I will do is go somewhere they value my business and my nails last. Also, my pedicure today was terrible. The bottom of my feet are still as rough as when I came in. I’m really disappointed because I really liked Liz, it’s unfortunate she has to work somewhere that has subpar product and poor ownership customer service especially since every visit I tipped her $30-50. Furthermore, charging 50 cents PER rhinestone is OUTRAGEOUS!!! The Swarovski crystals they put on my nails cost a maximum of 3 cents each from any nail supply, so they are marking these up 1,700% ???? Ive NEVER heard of anyone marking anything up this much!!! That is a HUGE profit margin, but yet they never have enough stones in stock. This salon is wayyyy overpriced for nails that lift in 2-3 days and pedicures that they rush through in 20 minutes and polish that is so old it bubbles and lifts. Update, my THIRD set of terrible nails that was done by Sarah lifted in 2 days. I’ve now wasted a lot of time and money to still have no nails. Honestly I think they give better service when you are a new client and then they no longer care about you and they rush through your nails and don’t care if you come back. I waited several weeks before posting this review and I made two attempts to call and speak with the owner, to no avail. I did speak with her daughter today who was very rude. Read Less
