I just visited Marianne's Brows today and had such a wonderful experience! I’ve never posted a google review before but I had to this time because I love my eyebrows now! Marianne and her sister Suzanne have such a clean and relaxing shop. It’s very cozy and convinielty located near UNCG, Downtown and A&T. Marianne is very sweet and will give you directions to the shop if you get lost as well. When you go into her waxing studio, she takes her time assessing your brows and the shape of your face to do her work. She even has you stand in a few different places to see how the lighting plays on your face as well. She asks you what kind of shape/style that you’re looking for and she gets started. Marianne’s technique is completely different because applies wax to the strip then to your face instead of applying wax to your face. Plus with her applying the wax to the fabric, she’s able to wax your brows in pieces to make them perfect. I am not joking, I will be back to have my brows done here every single time in the future! Marianne is the best person in the Triad area for brows.  She shapes your brows to best suit the shape of your face and eye placement.  I now get compliments on my brows!  Be sure to call ahead and make an appointment (I have always been able to go when it fit my schedule).  Her small salon is always neat and clean.  A very personal feel, just perfect. As I did not receive any service, my review is simply on the short experience that I had. I am not from this area and was looking for a salon to receive a spa pedicure and Marianne's was the top in the city. So I look at her website which doesn't state that you should make an appointment or that walk ins aren't accepted. So upon my arrival I had difficulty finding the salon and I called and Marianne answered and guided me, I then told her that I needed a pedicure and she told me that I needed to make an appointment. Granted she was very nice, this was unprofessional, she let me know that there are only two workers which is understandable. But there should be something on your website stating that your services are by appointment only, very inconvenient. Read Less

I have visited the new location on Mayflower twice now and I have to say...I absolutely LOVE the transition!! The new salon is very intimate and inviting. I found the atmosphere to be very peaceful and cozy and nothing has changed in service. Marianne and Suzanne are still a Dynamic Duo!! Wonderful experience!!! I tried this little shop out at the recommendation of fellow Yelpers.  I was a little unsure at first.  You essentially pull up to what appears to be a house.  There is a little section in the back with a white picket fence and parking.  I called to make sure I was in the right place and Marianne came out of the shop to greet me.  I thought that was a really nice gesture.  The shop is small and intimate.  Very clean, with pleasant, soft colors.  There are 2 pedi and 2 mani stations in separate rooms respectively.  Would be a really nice place to do a mother daughter beauty day.  Marianne took time to make sure my eyebrows were perfect.  I've never had anyone take the time to check, recheck and then check again.  I had a mani and pedi with her sister Suzanne, who was equally wonderful.  I was so relaxed during the pedi that I almost fell asleep.  She did a great job with my nails.   I will definitely be bringing my business here again and recommend that you do too! Marianne's Brow's was wonderful! I had booked appointments for my sister's bridal party and the staff was so friendly and accommodating and really went above and beyond. I went to get my first eyebrow wax and pedicure done yesterday. This was the first place i visited and Im glad i got such a great experience out of it. The staff was all very nice and sweet to me. They treat me like I was a regular customer. The place is so comforting and relaxing. The staff puts a lot of pride in their work and doesn't rush through it. My eyebrows look AMAZING! Ms. Marianne did a wonderful job. And shout out to the girls (Miss Naomi and Miss Courtney) who did my pedicure.. my feet needed some T.L.C. And the pricing is very affordable. Will be coming again! I went with my friend so we could get our nails done and my friend wanted to do her brows as well at around 5 in the afternoon.The pedicure was okay but after that it got worse. The lady that did my nails did an okay job. The lady that did my friend nails was terrible. The place was completely overbooked and the lady that did my friends nails kept leaving to go do things for other people. This resulted in her rushing through my friend's nails leaving a sloppy mess. She also forgot to put a top coat on her nails. Then while my friend was drying under the uv light a different lady comes over and puts two layers of top coat on her hands. My friend was angry that her hands were dirty from the polish so she asked them to be cleaned up only to have a different woman put for coats of nail polish on her nails and not clean up the polish that was covering her fingers. We were in that salon for almost three hours and the service was mediocre. The nail techs weren't that friendly and the place is overpriced for the quality of work you get.
