I just went in to this place with my friend to get a simple manicure. The woman at the desk looked around and then down at an empty planner and said, "we're busy". As in, we don't want your business. There were literally 3 patrons in the salon. VERY Discriminatory. I will never go back and will never refer them.Read Less

After having cancer treatments including harsh chemotherapy all my nails had ridges in them. They had started to peel and were only half the thickness in some places. As well as being really embarrassing the ends of my fingers were rather tender. They looked so awful I tried to hide them which isn't easy when you are serving in a shop. I walked into upmarket Nails and everyone there was lovely and helpful. This was my first time visiting a salon I didn't know what to expect.... It was like surgery for nails they knew what to use and built up the end of my fingers. Two hours later I was the happiest person ever! It really was emotional because when you have so much go wrong with your body through chemo losing hair eyelashes eyebrows nails etc it's nice for something to look good. So so welcoming and more of an experience than just getting your nails done, always a chat, cuppa and a laugh and I always come out feeling relaxed and happy. I would recommend to everyone. Avril was great, knowing I am terrible with nails (i am a biter) she took the time to explain everything she did as she was going along and made sure I had no bits to 'bite'. its been nearly 2 weeks and I still have pretty nails :-) Hopefully I will never bite again and I can regularly get pretty, (but boring) nails. My wife goes here to have her nails done and says what a lovely people and a great atmosphere there is. When I heard they started doing massages I couldn't resist the opportunity to try them out.
