This place looks nice and they are certainly clean following all hygiene practices.However, the quality of the work by some of the techs is child like!  There are some good nail techs here and you better hope that you are lucky and get one.  Some of the techs are rude, will argue with you and they all talk over you in their language.The prices are ridiculous!  I pay 40% less at my regular salon and get way better quality. Be careful because they will charge you for every little thing and do not like to fullly disclose prices. If you are not careful, your bill will be over 100 dollars with a simple mani-pedi if you want gel polish.  I have only been here a few times because of Sunday hours Because you can get in and out quick. Not impressed. Not only are they over priced (they charged me full price for a fill in AND gel polish services), they could not even give me the simple polish design that I wanted. I was charged $45 for a fill in with gel polish. I pay that normally where I usually go, with tip included. Not Highly Recommended...this is the worst nail salon in Gastonia, poor customer service with BAD attitudes. I had a bad experience with the people in this salon my daughter had to experience this today and I hate I was not there with her. These people are VERY RUDE and unprofessional, work is very sloppy. I don't know where these people obtained their license from but they all need to go back to school for more training. I will inform all my friends and family NOT to go to this salon. Horrible nail salon that charges ridiculous prices and gives very poor service. The environment isn't customer friendly and is somewhat "snoody". They charge you $17 for an acrylic fill-in and then charge you another $25 if you get gel polish. They charge you separately to cut down your nails even if they are only shaping them Read Less

I am shocked to see so many bad reviews on this place. It seems as though people are more apt to voice their bad experiences rather than their good ones. So I will share my amazing experiences at Beverly Nails! I used to go to Avalon in the mall who always did a really good job but I could NEVER get in and out very quickly. I do not like waiting for an hour to get my nails done. I have been coming to Beverly nails for a while now and they are all AWESOME. Super sweet ladies, and they always take very good care of me. I wrote a bad review the other day before I had time to cool off. My gel nails started lifting after 3 days but I went back and told the girl who did them and she fixed the ones that were messed up as well as touched up all the others for no charge. Still a hassle to deal with though and they told me they can't do ombré style which is what I originally wanted.And the repairs have already begun to lift as well in less than a week.... Read Less

I have been going to this place for over 5 years, sporadically, as it at one time offered competitive prices with a nice, modern, and clean atmosphere.  I've noticed a definite drop in customer service over the past few years as well as the overall service and price for service.Today I had a gift certificate for a deluxe pedicure worth $34.  I showed this up front but perhaps I shouldn't have because the service I proceeded to receive was terrible.  I assume that the tech felt at this point she would not receive a tip and so she treated me as such.  She was very aggressive with pulling my feet in and out of the water, which she did not allow any time for them to soak in the first place.  I was staring at her while she was behaving this way, I just couldn't believe how I was being treated, but she never looked up.  As she moved with carelessness and urgency from one paste or creme to the next she didn't massage my legs for ANY length of time.  Since I am a returning customer I know what it's supposed to feel like and how long it's supposed to take and this experience was NOT it.The paint job is fine, but the whole enjoyment of the pedicure was lacking.  I asked for the gift specifically from this business and I feel terrible that my mom wasted her $34 when there's a new and improved salon just 5 minutes from my house.  While on a recent vacation I had a "deluxe" pedicure at Tan Spa & Nail in Eatonton, GA that was 100 times better than this one, where they massage your legs, feet, neck, each for 10 min. and offer you wine for $28 but most importantly they treat you with respect.I will never return to Beverly Nails and oh, I had every intent of tipping this tech even for her shoddy work, but she walked away when she sat me at the drying table and never returned.LOCALS... I went here with four of my friends on Valentine's Day. The girl I got for my pedi started my feet at 10:05 and I was under the dryer by 10:20...15 minutes!! When i ask her during the pedi if she wasnt going to trim the cuticles and skin around my toes , she said she did, and she didn't !! My feet looked terrible, all she did was wash my feet, run a small file across the top of my toes, rub lotion on my legs and the painted my toes. my feet still had dry skin on my toes and heels , it was aweful. Will never go back!! And when the male nail person asked me how if was I told him, terrible and she came over and got in my face, saying my skins dry and i need to come more. SHE IS CRAZY and taking advantage of the customers!! she was too busy worrying about what everyone else was doing to do a good job on me. I have great pedis at Kim Nail at Water Tower and Avalon at the mall, and Lisa Nails on N New Hope Rd. All of these salons spend at least 45 minutes for a ""Regular Pedicure"". Read Less

Tried because of convenient location~what a waste of good real estate! Cons: 1) staff does not speak English (only management) which is a BIG problem when they scorch you foot in the foot spa! 2) scorched-burned my foot in the foot spa 3) nickel & dimed for services~they charge for everything~even to trim nails & remove old polish. Just be honest up-front with your charges instead of quoting low & adding for everything! Does one not expect a pedi to include trimming & polish removal. 4)trim caused me to have in-grown nail in less than a week & I've never had these issues in past. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE & HAVE ADVISED MY FRIENDS ACCORDINGLY!
