I had a really good experience at this nail salon. The staff is very professional and thorough precise and friendly. I was on vacation the last time I got my nails done from a not so great place and apparently they had put acrylic under my dip gel and it was a nightmare to get off but they did not complain. They also did my nails beautifully and gently. Tony did my manicure and make nails look super fab. The receptionist was really nice and the parking is easy. I'm from Miami and I have had great manicures before but this one is one of the best all around. Read Less

Doesn't deserve even 1 star. This place is awful. You can tell all they care about is tips. The lady even asked me where I worked I'm guessing to get a general idea of my income. First of all I had a chipped fake nail. She took it off and kept my real nail that was also chipped. She did not trim my real nail. Instead she puts powder gel on top of my real nail without a fake nail! It was my ring finger and it was half the length of my others... so cheap and unprofessional/sloppy. The cherry on top is when I got finished and I left her a tip. I said thank you (even though I was upset) and she had the nerve to say "yeah" um excuse me. I did not have to tip your rude self first of all after doing a horrible job. The lady who did my nails is the Manager!!!! She's always upfront with a blue tooth phone device. After a week my gel nails already chipped. I will NEVER return to this place. She was lucky I didn't go off on her in the salon. Read Less

I was there Saturday. I walked in for a pedicure and a acrílic full set. First of all the nail tech cut my cuticle too short on my toe I was bleeding. Then my full set looks horrible nails are super thick and the shape and size it's not consistent. I will never go back. I tried to tell the nail tech I didn't like my nails to fox and she was just treating me so bad in a bad mood. Read Less

I called 5 minutes before they closed and Tina was a Godsend....I have been on bedrest for 5 days and she told me to come in......1 minute to closing she put my tips on and was so sweet. I finally feel better and my nails look great! Will be recommending to all my co-workers at Rex and to all my friends! Read Less

My family has been going here since they first opened many years ago. Months ago we started trying new places because the service here went downhill when they started losing the regular technicians and hiring new people. The ones they did have were unprofessional, talked on their cell phones while doing your nails, didn't speak any English so didn't do things the way you liked, or were complaining and such a downer. However, I received a gift card to here and decided I wouldn...'t waste it and give them one more chance. Biggest mistake ever. I left this place in tears and will never return. To try and make a long story short, I was looking at the colors trying to chose what I wanted for a pedicure, and saw one mostly gone but thought it must be popular and picked it up. It slipped out of my hand and hit the floor. Of course it broke and I was totally embarrassed and felt terrible. Luckily since it was almost empty it didn't make that big of a mess. I went on to my pedicure and I had an ingrown nail I told the lady about. She was obviously never trained properly on how to remove one. In hopes that she would ask for help I kept telling her she didn't get it. She finally asked the manager or owner, Tina, in another language and she says to me "she don't see anything it's not there". Clearly I feel it but told her to forget it since she already cut 10 layers of skin and I was bleeding at this point. She never touched the nail so how was she going to get the ingrown??? It was hard to enjoy anymore of the pedicure since I was hurting and bleeding at this point. My nails I noticed were all different lengths and looked horrible. At this point who cares! I went to the dryer and paid for my pedicure and left the girl a rather nice tip since it wasn't all her fault she isn't trained and she apologized a lot. I had already decided I wouldn't return. But THEN they come up and ask me to pay $10 for the polish I broke. The polish that was only 1/3 full and had oil or lotion on it and slipped right through my fingers. The owner came over and said " well we had to clean it up" I offered to do that too! Why didn't they tell me that when I dropped it, or even when I paid?? Then she said their policy was $8 for broken polish. I was extremely angry after a $38 TERRIBLE pedicure which I'll have to get fixed somewhere else, a sore bleeding toe, and made to pay for mostly gone nail polish. The salon itself was okay, very small and cramped with one manicurists table being right behind the cash register. The pedicure I got was horrible, I actually left in pain with numerous visible cuts on my toe, foot and ankle. I had to ask twice for her to stop exfoliating one of the cuts on my ankle. After just moving to the area, I had to find a salon to accommodate 4 adults for pedis. Nails and Tan accommodated a same day reservation. They were ready for our group promptly at the appointment time. The salon, though small, was free of fumes. They offered complimentary beverages. The pedis were wonderful, the staff was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. And our group finished at about the same time. Read Less

I come here once a month for a pedicure & eyebrow waxing. Tina knows me by name which is nice and helps for when I call. Hlan is awesome!! My pedicures are always amazing and last for a month, even through all of the soccer that I play. She forgives me for the struggle that I put her through when she tortures my feet with the pumice stone. And, she shapes my eyebrows so well. Plus, the price can't be beat.
