My nails look great. The nail tech took a long time with my nails to get them right, even filed down the edges multiple times to get them the way I wanted them. They do grind your nails a lot. My nails are extremely thin so this was concerning and she caught my cuticles a few times with hurt. But my SNS nails are beautiful and strong. All my nails are even and the same length. Read Less

Le is awesome!! Love that I can show her any picture off of Pinterest of a nail design I want and she makes it happen. I've been to too many places that are only basic, play it way too safe and you can't have fun with. If it's simple then why not do your own nails!? SNS takes a while though, be prepared to stay for a bit over a hour. And they tend to be pretty busy here, I think most clients are regulars, it seems to be better to just call ahead and schedule an appointment. Read Less

I just want to say sorry Number One Nail for going to another salon😥 today. never again will I visit any other place. I LOVE NUMBER ONE NAIL. I only went to another place because it was closer to my home (in Raleigh) and my schedule was crazy. Next time, I would wait until I can get to you. I feel relaxed when I'm at Number One Nail and when I leave. My nails are well care for and my pedicured feet last until it's time for another SNS fill. I love the customer service. Here's a tip for the owners: Don't say you take walk-ins and then act completely annoyed and bothered when someone WALKS IN without an appointment. Trust me, there are plenty of nail salons in the area that are just as comparable, just WITHOUT the crappy attitude. Read Less

I get my SNS manicure done here. It amazes me how long it lasts, and how it looks like it's been freshly done even a month in. I have people comment on my nails all the time, and I'm more than happy to tell them where I get my nails done. Never have I had my SNS nails chip, peel, crack, or break. My first few SNS applications were very good. I definitely recommend the product as they by far feel the most natural and have lasted the longest for me. However, I'm not a big fan of this salon. I've given it several chances and it just seems like each time it goes even more south. They definitely don't have enough people working there and the people they do have are either busy taking to friends who stop in the salon (or on their personal phone) or taking time away from the customers to answer phones and check in people. They really need a receptionist, especially on the weekends because it is highly annoying to have my service stopped every five minutes for them to answer the phone. The techs are a mess and have no idea what is going on. They often yell back and forth at each other in front of customers or complain about other customers.  They're also pretty rude when it comes to making appointments and there is never day you can just walk in, even the middle of the day Wednesday. This past time the guy got really snippy with me for walking in. In addition, the guy who did my nails this time was a lot less careful, clipped my nail with the grinder, and did a step no one had done before. It was a SNS dip but not into my color, but more like a base layer I guess? I haven't had it done before and I've noticed that after only four days, three of my nails have chipped on the sides and another one is coming up. I've had them done for about 3 months now and never had an issue. Everyone else I know that has SNS has never experienced this so it leads me to believe it was poor application. I probably won't be going back here and will instead search for a place that isn't super close to home just so I don't have to deal with their unprofessionalism and rudeness towards customers. I decided to try this place out today. Huge mistake! !  Signs all over asking for cash only.  Then I was placed in the chair at the pedicure station. The water had to be refilled 2 times because it got so cold. I stayed long enough for the massage chair to do one cycle then I promptly left. Cash only is very odd and customer service was horrible!
