I went in with my sister, and didn’t have a great experience. Very rough handling. I’ve been to cleaner nail salons, and this wasn’t one of them. I asked for the color I wanted, but wasn’t given shade options. They didn’t do anything with the cuticles, and I was cut many times as they cut my sister as well. The gel polish/acrylic was not close to my cuticle at all. The nail shaping was the worst I’ve had and they came out thick. I didn’t like that I asked for the price and wasn’t told the price until she was done. It ended up being $40 which I honestly feel was too much and not worth the price. Definitely will not go back. My mom could have painted my nails better. The salon looked okay, but a little cramped. My friend and I went, I asked for a gel manicure. She didn't do anything to my cuticles like clip them or push them back. She started painting and did a few coats with the pigmented color I chose, but the polish thinned near the end of my nail, and I can see my nail underneath. Also there is polish missing on the majority of my nails, as in empty spaces where my nail is exposed, she didn't fill them in all the way. They dented the next day. My friend got a french manicure they didn't really shape her nails and the tips were pretty crooked. We were overall disappointed with our experience here. The nail technicians were very hasty with their job. They were only $20 each but I don't even think they were worth that. I would recommend Safari Nails in Elkin. They always do a wonderful job and are very skilled and precise. I'd say the best/my favorite person for a manicure there is the young woman who wears the face mask, I believe she is the daughter and her name is Kim, although all of them do a good job. Safari is a little pricier, but worth the money. You can also try your luck at Aloha Nails in Jonesville, however I have not been there. Read Less

Nail Secrets is my go to place to get my nails done! Family owned, Karen has tons of colors and designs to choose from and the prices are affordable. The salon also doesn't have that "nail salon" smell either! Read Less

I love K-Nails, I have been going there for years. Usually John or Nina do my nails but everyone in there is very professional. In the past when I wanted something specific I would show them a picture, rather it be for nail shape, color, or nail art. They always do a nice job and the best time to go is between opening and 1 o'clock, they do tend to get busy. Read Less

Was obvious I got the worst employee at the place...took the guy forever to remove regular nail polish from my toes....ive been to enough nail salons to know there are good and bad employees in most...guy working on girl beside me was on his smartphone consistency, which was very unprofessional. Very dissatisfied. I had an appt with Jon was there 10 mins before my appt time. But for some odd reason they stuck with some new girl. My nails look horrible. Acrylic missing in several spots and now they are separating from my natural nails. I've never had this happen before. Very bad for business. When I went and got my nails done the first time I asked for them to be a certain shape but the man who did them made them square and I overlooked that because they looked halfway decent. The second time I went in he took the color off of half my Nails left silver under the other Nails some nails were left thick and some thin. when I asked him that I wanted time to pick my color he got frustrated with me. After this last experience plus my daughter got her nails done and half of them chipped off within the first week I will not go back here again. Read Less

I love this place! I have been a client for many years. Very professional. I am pretty picky & I love the way they handle my sensitive hands, and I enjoy all the newest colors, acrylics, & gels. The lady who serviced my feet used the exact same utensils on me without cleaning them as she used on the customer in line before me. I was appalled and disgusted and will not be coming back. She was also rude in general and not friendly at all. Granted, she may have been having a bad day but that is no reason to treat a customer poorly. Called the day before and ask for an appointment the next day, was given one and I arrived 15-20 minutes before my scheduled time, they were busy but I still got in 10 minutes before my scheduled time. Got my choices of gel polish with glitter top coat. I got a simple manicure, on my natural nails that cost $15.00. They had a full staff with about 6 employees and a very well behaved child. Got a regular manicure. It was late and the lady was rushed. Got home and realized that the polished was not to the sides of some of the nails and the cuticle clip was not good. Went back just now, the first day they were opened, and the mgr offered to put another coat of polish on the nails and then explained to me that cuticles grow everyday. Not as fast as they would have had to grow in order for them to be as bad as they are. I told him no thanks. New to town and I won't  be going back to a place that cares so little about true customer service. Read Less
