So I came here for the first time last night & I am NOT happy about the way my nails look at ALL. Kevin rushed through my service, my nails are wayy too short & the shape is terrible. I do not recommend going to this salon at all. I came back earlier today & complained but the manager wasn't here so an employee called her & she said she'd be there around 4-5 & to come back. I went back between those two times & the manager wasn't there. Kevin comes up to me & tells me they do...n't do refunds & that the manager wouldn't be there til tomorrow & argued with me about it. So the manager told me to make another trip there today just for her to not be there, & then they tell me I couldn't get a refund & get the nails taken off. She definitely could've said that before I took another trip there because she said she'd be there. I will NOT be coming back here & I will Never recommend this salon to Anyone. My skin has never looked better since I started seeing Leigh for regular facials! She is amazing at addressing your skin's issues and bad behavior and correcting it. The cleanser she recommended has helped tremendously and is not expensive. I would highly recommend Dockside for facials and other skin treatments, I wouldn't go anywhere else! Read Less

I was searching online for a place to take my wedding party to have their nails done before the wedding. Since it was kind of last minute every place rock me no. Due to the i had cancelled our plans to have Manicures. The day after I cancel I received a text from April saying they are available for the day we wanted and would be able to accommodate 6 people! We were all so pleased with our nails for the wedding and my mom loved her Pedicure. We all had such a great time! April was wonderful. They are located by the water and have the perfect view! I’ve gotten my nails done by Jennifer at the bacons bridge location and I am in love with them. This is the second time I’ve gone to her because I’m so impressed with them. I’ve been to many different nail salons and since I’ve found Jennifer at Stella Nails I refuse to go anywhere else. I couldn’t be more impressed with my nails and the customer service I received. I love my nail technician Shada. I just wish the other people that work there would speak English. When they start talking in their language of choice you don't know if they are talking about you. Got a full set and I had two nails lift in less than a week. The first time I went, I paid. The second time I waited for 40 minutes. Nobody greeted me or asked what I needed. The guy that originally did my nails saw me walk in and he rushed to the back to start a woman's pedi. Women that had deluxe mani's and pedi'a were being served, while I was sitting and waiting to get ONE nail to be fixed with gel polish, which doesn't take long. While one lady was getting her hand/feet, my nail could've been done. When he finally came to me, it took him literally 6 minutes to fix and dry. Read Less

Came in the morning right when you opened, showed up at 9:30. There were already a number of people waiting. I signed in and sat down after. Wing told it would be a few minutes while the rest of the staff showed up. The 4 people who walked in after me were seated and helped first. After 20 minutes I was finally seated in a chair with water where I continued waiting for 45 minutes and watched another man walk out due to him waiting for longer than I had been. The person he was... with was almost done and he had been waiting longer than anyone who walked in with/after me. I have not been impressed with the quality of service the last few times I have been there (gel falling off within 4 day and polish all around my fingers). I decided I would give it one last try, as I have been coming here for almost 2 years. After being there today for two and a half hours...I will not be coming back. It was Jimmy's first day when I had the pleasure of him being my technician. I will never go to anyone else! He was so funny and did a phenomenal job! Shellac usually peels off of my nails in about 5 days, and his lasted almost a full two weeks and my pedicure for even longer. The whole staff was fun and professional. The smell fills your nose and engulfs you. The music is welcoming for everyone. On to the best part....staff. These beautiful ladies are friendly and honest. Hardworkers, caring and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed our conversations. I got a Brazilian and was given the best advice. I love...love...love Dockside. I have been a customer here for a while and I usually have a good experience, but I had the most painful pedicure I have ever had in my life!! I do not know the name of the girl that did my pedicure. It was the first time I have ever seen her working there. I had my pedicure done on Saturday and my toes are still sore! I was cut several times and the cuts are now starting to scab over so they look terrible! During the pedicure when she would spray any type of solution on my toes they would burn like crazy because of the cuts. I could not hardly wait for the pedicure to be over! If I could give you zero stars I would. I asked the manager Nina or Naomi if she read the Facebook reviews, in hopes that she saw how many of the customers leave this establishment feeling. She indicated that it didn't matter because business is still good. It made me so angry, because if the leader feels this way there is no hope for change. I felt disrespected and discriminated against. Not that it matters to them, but I hope others will spread the word, and choose to spend there hard earned money in an establishment that actually cares about their customers and not just about the money.
