I went to NC for Thanksgiving. While there I had the BRILLIANT idea to go get my nails done. Since I don't know any places there because I don't live there, someone suggested I go get them done at this location. It was the filthiest place I had ever been to, and I didn't see any other places around to leave and go elsewhere, so I stayed. They charged me $66 for acrylic and a pedicure. I can't come up with what this is rather than a total mess, my child could have done a better job than this. My fingers look distorted. I wasted my money and time. The worst nail shop I have ever been too! When I called the woman who answered said there was a 10 min wait. I live right next to the shopping center that the nail shop is located so I headed right over. When I got there the woman (Jade) who answered the phone was doing a customers eyebrows and told me to have a seat. When I was waiting another customer asked Jade about getting her fill in done. Jade then responded " I have to do the new black girls nails" referring to me. I took offense to what Jade said but I let it go. After I waited for 40 min, remind you she stated on the phone it was only a 10 min wait, I was directed to have a seat at a nail table. Before the young girl started on my nails I asked should I wash my hands, my hands felt really gross because of the heat outside and the work I was doing before I came. The yong girl told me "no it's fine because you'll wash them after". As she started to do my nails I realized she didn't was her hands, wipe off my nails with cleaner and that she literally took a drill bit from Jade who was working next to her on a customer then used on my nails. She also took nail clippers and cuticle clippers from Jade too that were used on jades customer and did not disinfect them before using them on me. While she was adding my tips she asked the shape that I wanted and I told her coffin then she stated it was a extra $5 which is weird because I've always gotten coffin and never paid an extra amount. I did the coffin anyway. So as she's doing my nails I noticed that she didn't use any primer or bond which prevents lifting of the fake nail. The young girl just buffed my nail, added tips and put on acrylic. After the acrylic was done and she filed my nails I thought she was going to let me wash my hands but she didn't. The young girl switched with her dad, who is the owner of the store and he started painting my nails. Once he was done with my nails he asked if I wanted oil on my cuticles and I said no because I still haven't washed my hands. He said I needed to and put it on my hands but didn't rub it in. My total for everything was $37.00 which is high in my opinion for acrylics because gel nails are basically $40. Read Less
