Made an appointment for my sister and myself to get pedicures. We showed up on time only to be told that our appointment was 30 mins earlier. Apparently whoever we spoke to on the phone put the wrong time down. We had asked for hot stone pedicures but only received the basic pedicures (maybe because we were "late"). It didn't matter though because they were the best pedicures we'd ever gotten. The place is VERY clean and so nice on the inside. You can tell they have pride in their establishment. There are two rooms for pedicures and a large room for manicures. Both of our technicians were super friendly and the rest of the staff were nice as well. We will definitely be coming back. Terrible quality for nails. Service was good, they will communicate with you and they have TVs for you to watch, but the skill set isn’t there. I asked for almond nails and got pointy nails that could almost pierce skin. I wanted a acrylic French tip, I get my nails really long, and idk what she did but I could see my actual nail underneath the French tip if that makes sense. Looked fine from far away, but terrible close up. They broke a couple days later, it seemed like the nail quality that they use for acrylic was super cheap and flimsy. Wouldn’t come here again. I had never been here before but I met a friend who lives in the area for a pedicure. Everyone was nice and the pedicure was fine... but nothing beyond fine especially for the price. I got the 35 dollar sugar scrub pedi and again, the lady did a fine job but it lasted about 25-30 mins total, includes one massage portion with the sugar scrub, and that was really it. I've been to a lot of different places and usually calf and foot massage is standard and if you upgrade (this is an upgrade from basic) you get extra massage time with the scrub. I also had a complimentary glass of red wine, which tasted like grape juice. I probably wouldn't return as I feel there are likely to be many places in the area where I would get more bang for my buck. If this were a 20 dollar basic pedicure, I would give it 4 stars. 35 dollars, not a chance. Read Less

Not only are the manicures rushed and not done well, they take advantage of their customers by charging extra just because other nail salons in the area charge more for the same services. Sure, it's unfair for other salons to make more for the same service, but if you charge less, eventually you will draw more customers. I recommended this salon to just about everyone I knew the first few times I went here because the manicure was good at the time and the salon is one of the nicest and cleanest I have been to, but taking advantage of customers is unacceptable. If prices rose because the material is expensive, then why can I get a $45 manicure for $25 in Australia when the polish is an American product? Just be aware that a manicure you get once could be $20 more expensive the next time around! Read Less

I have been coming regularly for 3 months and grown very attached. I love how fresh and clean the salon always is. The owner usually does my nails and is so sweet. She recommends great colors, and she always gets the closest to the cuticle which is great. They last a solid 2 weeks, and never chip. My favorite part: I never feel uncomfortable because everyone is speaking in English. There is no talking in a different languages between employees that happens in other salons-so I never feel like I'm being talked about! The price is amazing for the quality (gel manicure-$35) and they have saved my nails. I can't give it 5 stars only because I do one service at the moment. For gel manicures though, 5/5 stars! I had been before and wanted to make an appointment because I recognized that last time I was there they started turning people away who didn't have them. Made an appointment Friday evening for Saturday morning. They didn't ask for my name, which I thought was weird, but I figured they were just busy as they didn't answer the phone the first time I called. Got there Saturday morning and told her I called and made an appointment. She says she didn't see my name. I told her no one took my name but I was told to come at 9:30. Well apparently 9:30 was no longer available so I was turned away. This is hands down the best nail salon in Durham! It is clean, organized and everyone there is very nice and friendly. This salon is full of "regulars"! My nails have never looked as good as they do now...Stacy and all of the employees really make sure you leave happy and do a quality job. I've had my nails done at many different places and I'm always looking for something new to try. A friend gets her nails done here and she loves it and her nails always look great, so I thought why not. The place wasn't very busy and I came in as a walk in. I got a pedicure and a manicure and I could tell you that is was the worst manicure I've ever had. The pedicure was okay. But the lady doing my nails barely spoke english and said she just started 6 mo ago. When it was time to polish my finger nails she said something like the polish was old (the one she just used on my toes) because the polish was dry, so she tried to show me a similar color but I wanted them to match my toes. But anyway I got up and picked a different color. When she painted my finger nails she never even went all the way to the edge and you can clearly tell where she didn't even apply the top coat all the way to the edge either. Very sloppy job and my cuticles still look horrible! It looks like a 10 yr old did my manicure. I'm sorry but I will probably never come here again! Read Less

I've been here three times since they opened and have been very satisfied with my pedicures. Each manicurist was friendly and attentive. They did not skip on the details. This will probably be my go to place from now on. If they have a Groupon deal, check there before going. You can add on to the Groupon for more services. Read Less

I went here the other day for a gel manicure, and for whatever reason the color was malfunctioning and the manicure didn't turn out right. Was there today and got a mani-pedi. They are professional, courteous and take their time. My feet were in need for some care before flip flop season and they did an amazing job. I went here because I got a groupon for a basic pedicure for $16. This place was very clean, and the staff was very nice. Kelly took her time on my pedicure, and that is why I will most likely go back. I live in Raleigh, so it was a little bit of a drive for me. Overall I did enjoy this place. Came in and asked if they had time for two pedicures (me and my mom) they said yes, but no one directed us anywhere. After about 5-10 mins they directed us to the chairs with water where we sat for over ten minutes while no one addressed us or told us if anyone would be with us or how soon, meanwhile multiple employees walked by. Finally someone got started on my moms feet. Another lady came a few minutes later and started on my feet while speaking in her own language to another employee behind her. At one point she wasn't even looking at what she was doing to my feet but was totally turned around while using the callus scraper blindly on my feet. She barely rubbed my feet and legs. She got up several times and left me without saying why or when she would be back. She told me "bend" when I guess she wanted me to bend my knee and put my foot back in the water. What can I say about this salon? I was looking for a new place that would do a great job on a pedicure and a full gel set. When you walk in there is a bar area , but the salon does not offer you anything to drink. I signed in and listed the services I wanted. I was told to sit in the pedicure chair and the water was extremely hot but the technician adjusted the temperature. She then walked away and came back maybe 30 minutes later. As I was getting my toes polished I noticed that they didn't have the toe separators on my feet, so I politely asked if they would put them on so that my Polish would not get messed up. As you can see in the picture they were too cheap to put the toe separators on my toes even though they had several packs that were unopened open sitting next to the chair. They also do not use liners in their pedicure bowls.Onto the full gel set, the technician began to file and shape my nails and then her baby began to cry so she had to get up and go to the back room to check on her baby. She came back about 10 minutes later and she continued to file and shape my nails, and then her baby began to cry again and she went back to the back room to check on the baby. When she came back this time, I asked her if she was going to add tips to my nails for the gel set. She then responded that she didn't know that I wanted a full gel set and moved me to a different table. She worked on my nails for maybe 5 minutes and guess what the baby began to cry in the back room again! All in all this was a very different experience not sure if I'll go back again. Read Less

I've used this nail salon twice. The first time was with a Groupon, shortly after the business opened. They were short-staffed and we sat for a while before being cared for. The owner reduced our cost by 50% without us asking and apologized for being short of staff and said she was going to hire more technicians. This past time, my friend and I were seen promptly, by friendly technicians and received outstanding quality gel manicures with regular polish pedicures without having to wait. What I really love is that they match their gel polishes to their corresponding nail polishes so you don't have to spend the time finding a comparable color. I had an awful experience here. I needed a pedicure, manicure and eyebrow wax (cleanup). They were not busy at all (there was no one else in there) and I sat in the pedicure chair for over 25 minutes before someone came over to me to get started. The pedicure took WAY longer than it should have (longest pedicure ever) - so much so that I didn't have time to get my manicure. It also was just an awful pedicure - paint everywhere, messy, gloppy. But the worst part was, I desperately needed an eyebrow cleanup... She took me in the back and proceeded to do the longest eyebrow wax ever (it took 20 minutes - something that should take no longer than 5 minutes). When she showed me the mirror to look at the finished job, I almost cried. She didn't cleanup - she completely reshaped my eyebrows and WAY overwaxed. They are now super thin and they look awful. I asked her why she did that and she said, "Oh, well I didn't ask you. Thin is better for you."In the end, I still had to pay for everything. It was awful. I came here with a groupon and it is a newer nail salon that has been here about 4 months. The decor is really modern and sleek with hardwood floors and plenty of pedicure chairs. They offer pedicures and manicures and the prices are on par with other salons in the area. You can either call ahead of just walk in. The salon is in the same shopping complex as Shikki Sushi near Southpoint mall off of 54. Absolutely love this new salon!  It is beautiful and extremely clean and the employees are friendly and helpful.  I always feel very comfortable when I am here; they have an awesome selection of colors in both gel and regular polish and pride themselves on excellent customer service.  I highly recommend!  It'll be even better once the bar is open, which I believe is slated to happen soon.  Great place for birthday or bridal parties, or just a group of friends! Well where to begin? The roomie and I were very excited to cash in our groupon in honor of her birthday. She called this morning in am effort to make an appointment and was told they had two wedding parties coming in and that we could come at 3 or 3:30pm-before they even took my roomies name, they hung up on her. The space and decor are nice, but there was no one to greet us upon entry and we had to walk in a ways before an employee stuck their head out of the pedicure room. We were told to pick a color then directed towards the pedicure chairs. The chairs were very nice-relaxing! We sat in the chairs for one and half cycles of the massage chair-a total of 30 plus minutes before anyone paid us any attention. They were not busy for a Saturday in my opinion-but they were clearly understaffed! I wonder how they managed to meet the needs of two bridal parties earlier in the day! The pedicure itself was disappointing. It was rushed, she was careless and not attentive. At one point she even "stabbed" me with one of the tools as she was cleaning/shaping, asked if I had an ingrown toenail to which I replied no and she  said sorry! The whole pedicure itself lasted about 20 minutes-rather disappointing when you soak for much longer than that! My feet are not soft, in all honesty, I feel like I paid for a fresh coat of nail polish. I did ask how long they have been open to which the woman replied a month and a half and it's my hope that with time, they are able to improve their customer service and hire more staff because today's pedicure was the worst pedicure experience I've ever had.
