I have been a customer of Magic Nails about 1 and 1/2 years my daughter make my appointment with Steve, we really like the place. Steve is a super nice person and does our nails super natural, our nails always look pretty, Magic nails has become our family nail salon, since me and my 3 daughter go to Magic nails to get our nails done. I was traveling on business and stopped by for a gel mani. He did not remove all of the previous gel from the last gel mani. Then he did not use the gel base coat, even though I pointed it out. Now I have bumps on my nails, and who knows how long they will stay on. I will not go back. Read Less

I put my name on the list for a full set, nobody approached the counter for half an hour, then tell me they don't do full sets, and ask me if I want a pedicure. Never heard of a nail salon not offering full sets much less when it's posted on their window. Was going for the mood polish and left in a bad one with no nails Read Less

This place has really gone downhill. I would really recommend that you NOT go here for a pedicure. I was kept waiting 20 minutes in a chair with my feet stuck in cold water and then this woman came up with all kinds of bad attitude. She literally spent 8 minutes on the pedicure and talked all the time while I was trying to read my book in peace. When I brought up the fact that her pedicure was substandard she was very rude. Came here yesterday for the 2nd time and once again they were very rude. No one greeted me when i came in , thr guy doing my nails was very rude, he kept raising hisvoice and jerking my hand super hard. I thought the first experience was bad but this one takes the cake. This used to be my go-to Nail salon for years and quite honestly it has gotten to be awful in ppthe last two or three years or ever since Jon left. The people in there now are rude and heaven forbid you ask them a question and expect a response, they sit there with their heads down and talk amongst themselves. Appointments are apparently a thing of the past as well. I've been saying for years that I won't go back and today topped the cake for me and I will not return. If I could give it 0 stars I would.   This place used to do the best nails when Jon ran it now it's the biggest joke around.  There is no need in making appointments because they never uphold them, like ever.  And you ask for help from their crappy employees and they all just keep their heads down and talk to one another without addressing you at all.  To say their customer service skills lack is an understatement. Horrible experience! My first visit will will be my last. I came in for a gel-manicure. The lady who did my nails was very pleasant but nails are not her ministry! Polish was all on my cuticles, slathered on thicker than a Cook-Out milkshake.... just a mess. The lady spoke very little English. So when I told her the service was bad she got the manager. He soaked my nails in alcohol like that was gonna make the manicure better. Then asked again if I liked it. I told him that she painted on my cuticles and the polish was going to lift up in a couple days. The manager said I could come back in a few days if it lifted and I let him know that I was from out of town. So he offered to file the polish off of my cuticles and I told him that I've been getting gel nails and that was gonna be a waste of time. The manager said "people come here and don't want to pay for service." I told him the service was bad. I left and ended up paying for the service, I left no tip of course and I plan on disputing the charge. The manager is rude and nasty, I was so upset. Used to come here all the time when I was in college to get my nails done until they messed up my nails twice. Today I brought my little sister here to get her nails done because it was the closest place and I regretted that decision. Although the nail tech had on a face mask he was obviously sick and coughed the entire time while doing her nails. That is extremely unprofessional, disgusting and not sanitary at all. The people are mostly nice. Yes, it is a quick in and out kind of place, but some of the technicians can be careless. During a pedicure, my toe was scrubbed too hard. Blood was drawn! No adjustment was made when I pointed it out to management! Read Less
