I love this place. They always have someone available to help you so you won’t have to wait. Plenty of parking in the lot. They have a a bunch of prices and packages which can confuse you a little bit. They even have party packages where you can bring you and 16 of your girls/guys and you all can have the back room. I come here often, just about every time I need to get my nails done, and when I try a different nail salon, I always regret it. Lee nails has excellent service, beyond average expectations, and they do an amazing job. My nails last at least a week longer and stay in tact when I get them done here versus a cheaper nail salon. I have been going to Lee Spa Nails for years. I absolutely love the service that I receive.  I consistently get compliments and inquiries on where I get my nails done to the point where I have their cards in my purse to give out. I have been having Q take care of my nails for over two years and HIGHLY recommend him and Kevin. Pedicures are always on point and my gel lasts for weeks. My mother normally is very picky, but even she consistently goes to Q for manicures and pedis because she has seen improvement in her nail growth. I had stopped going to this spa for the past few years because everyone was in a hurry to get to the next customer and my nails need special attention. ;) I went two days ago and had a great experience with Q who was my nail tech about 8 years ago but he left and recently came back when the spa was under new management.  He took time to carefully trim my hang nails and push back my cuticles so that my nails were beautiful upon completion.  It's been two days and my nails/hands still look great.  And what a wonderful hand massage.  I am so glad I went back and even happier that Q is back. Well I went to this place 3/15. Dan did my nails. That wasn't,the problem. The only thing I think he could have improved was he could have taken the drill to the  underneath the nails. I'm nuts about what they charge. A gel fill is 35.00 then you have to add on $10.00 for the nail polish and then $5.00 for bringing them down. So for a gel fill that's $50.00 for a fill . The man who did my nails tried to talk me out of what I wanted the whole time so he could do something easier for him and more expensive for me... He then spent the whole time doing my nails focusing on everything but my nails. He also pulled out his personal cell phone in the middle of doing my nails to answer a few text that he let me know "were not important at all". I numerously asked for him to cut my nails shorter and he didn't and then I asked for a thin french tip paint and I left with half on my nail painted white. Any request I asked of him he ignored. Came here the day before I flew to Los Angeles because I wanted my nails and toes to look good while on vacation. I was already going to the mall across the street and my usual place was closed, so I figured I would just splurge a little (this place is a lot more expensive than my usual place). I got a pedicure and a refill with gel polish, and left satisfied with everything. However, shortly after things started going down hill. That same evening two nails broke off doing normal activities (washing my face and driving). I was so confused and frustrated because in the 5 years I have spent getting fake nails, I have never broken a nail like this... so for two to break the SAME day I knew something was wrong with the way my nails were done. Less than 48 hours later another nail broke, again during a normal activity (using the restroom). Now 5 days later my nails are badly chipped and I'm terrified another nail will break any minute. I literally had to spend my vacation supergluing broken nails back on. I'm not sure if the nail tech used sub-par supplies on me because I am young and he assumed naive, or if he just made some mistakes, but I want a refund or credit for what I spent on these nails to use for a pedicure or something in the future. Very nice and relaxing environment with great nail technicians who genuinely care and do a great job. They will also keep you comfortable and offer plenty of wine if you’d like! I had a great experience! I feel like I was truly taken care of. The building was nice. The ambiance was nice. The staff was kind and courteous. I am pleased with the work they did on my feet (classic pedicure with paraffin dip) and my hands (classic manicure). I also did lashes and the lady did a very careful and precise job. I just wished they used black glue because there are a few glue spots I can, but they are def UNDER my lid. Which must be why my eyes burned so much after the "procedure." I would probably forgo THAT service next time. The only thing that they REALLY need to work on is that bathroom! The floor was wet all over and it's a bit broken. The person before must not have realized and left the handle of the toilet down. So after I used it, I had to raise the handle so that the tank would fill back up and wait there until I could properly flush the toilet. But I'll def go back after my pregnancy so I can try their dranks!! Read Less

This is the very best nail salon in Durham, I think in the Triangle!  The salon is always beyond clean, and the staff and technicians make you feel like you have walked into their home. Always so pleasant and attentive. The salon smells incredible with all kinds of aromatherapy scents immediately making you feel relaxed. And then of course there is the wonderful bartender Dee who is always at the ready with your drink of choice. The pedicures in massaging chairs take you to a zen like place and my nails always look perfect when ilI leave. If you haven't tried Lee Spa nails you ARE missing out. My first experience there was terrific. This last experience was not great. Even though I get pedicures regularly, I still get ingrown toenails on my big toe. I explained that to the technician and and worked on them. It was clear to me that one of my toes still had an ingrown nail because I could still feel the pain. She was confidant that she had removed all of The ingrown nail and that I would feel better the next day. After trying to run the next morning, I knew the nail was not only still ingrown, but made much worse. I am SO glad that I chose this salon! I am VERY particular about my nails AND I EXPECT my pedicures to be exceptional. I recently moved here from Atlanta, GA, and had a great salon that gave the BEST pedicures! Well..I went in and Andrew did my fill in and my pedicure. He listened to what I wanted and he delivered!! My nails look great and my feet felt soft, and pampered. I find the prices here to be a bit higher than I am use to paying, but it's worth it. I don't care about the bells and whistles, I care about the quality of the work, but the salon is very nice, clean, and organized. Also, the bar has a nice selection of drinks. It would be nice if they offered little snacks like chips, but the bar serves drinks only. Overall it was a great experience and I have now found my nail salon! Never going back here. I got my original acrylic set here and one fill in. The last fill in I had I spent around 36 dollars (that was with gel polish). I came in today to get a fill in and the guy I had was incredibly rude. He asked me what was under my nail. I got so confused.. he kept asking me and I explained to him that it's the liquid and the powder and I wanted gel polish. He rolled his eyes. He took my previous color off then quoted me at 55 dollars!! He said hed charge ten dollars to fix ONE NAIL. ONE. it wasn't even broken off!!! Then I was going to be charged for them to be cut down (which I was NOT charged that last time). Then he said or you can get a new full set for 55. How the hell is that right? I left after he took my color off and went somewhere else for an acrylic fill in with gel polish. Guess what? 35 dollars. Get your prices consistent! Read Less

I've been here twice and don't plan to return anytime soon.Five years ago I stopped in for my first set of fake nails for a friend's wedding. The guy doing my nails cut my cuticle and then proceeded to smear the blood into the nail and laughed to his coworker about how he couldn't believe it when he cut a second cuticle. I left a little tramatized. I expected it to have been fixed, but he wouldn't, and I didn't have enough nerve to speak up because I just wanted to get out of there.More recently, I stopped by on Sunday for a mani/pedi with a friend. Her guy was really hardworking and did a great job while the girl doing mine could have cared less. She didn't ask me much about what I wanted, and I was too busy chatting away to realize I didn't like the cut of my nails before they were already halfway gel'ed. complaints about the girl doing my nails aside, I was shocked when I heard how much my nails were going to cost. I'm used to prices around $30/pedi and $35/frenchtip gel mani. The total was $93!  It was $25 to get gel toe nail polish. Seriously? Usually it's like +$12 for gel. NOPE. Again, I could have checked the website before I went, but the only menu's they have for prices were what they hand you for pedis and you're just quickly picking a basic, so you don't look long. Also, normally there's a little bundle discount. It's a scam.Fast forward 3 days and my nails are already bubbling on the sides of a few.I am giving them 3 stars because they have a sterile set of tools that they open in front of you for each client and I saw them clean my friend's pedi foot bath well after she was done. My friend comes here all the time and I'm so glad she told me about it. i don't live nearby but I might just come here to get my nails done often. The ladies are very nice and don't rush through your manicure at all, even in the weekend! My friend tells me that the owner is very strict so that's why the ladies are all very careful and detailed with their work. My manicure lasted noticeably longer than those at other places.
