The atmosphere is very relaxing and the nail techs were very friendly. Unfortunately they aren't current on nail designs and I really like designs. I was told the tech could do designs. She never asked me what design I wanted. She just did it. The "design" was an old fashioned flower made of a series of lines in a circle. Even worse, she used colors that didn't show up well on the primary color. When I expressed my concern she said I wouldn't be charged. I would have preferred that she painted over it. Then she left me never to return. They also didn't scrape the dead skin well. She did a couple of swipes for about 20 seconds. I was so focused on the design that I forgot that part. I went with my mom who was visiting from Florida. We got a manicure and a pedicure. They were just ok. My mani/pedi was very rushed, and I had to remind them three times that I also needed to get my eyebrows waxed. My mom said she felt the same way. I took my 3 yr old daughter with me for mani/pedis today and they were amazing! The entire staff was super friendly and also very patient with her. It was great that they even have kids chairs. The technician who did my pedicure never even smiled or asked how I was doing. She rushed through my “classic” (not the express) pedicure and never even looked me in the eyes. The technician who did my manicure got upset when I asked what the color looked like and rudely shoved more color choices in my face. I was very polite and asking a simple question. I have been using this nail salon for a year and have been VERY happy every time I go. Unfortunately, the most recent time I went, I had an older women who could not do a faded French and instead did the worst full set I have ever seen in my life. I asked her to soak them off and redo them because the shape of them was terrible- she did, and did not charge me; however, she re-did them just as bad. The painted lines are crooked and sloppy, the nails are think and chunky and they were not cleaned up at all. The end of the nail where the nail meets the cuticle was painted onto my finger. I had to chip it off and then the all pulled up because they weren't sealed down. They also tried to over charge the other women I was with by telling them they got the more expensive pedicure but actually did the cheaper one ( expensive one comes with a message). Finally found a nail salon I can consistently come to _ Pedi Spa Nail Bar. And they did not disappoint. I went in wanting an almond shaped acrylic overlay on top of my natural nails. It's a wonderful service! They also were extremely professional in their craft. Really nice and clean nail salon. I'll be coming back every month to get my nails done. I love you nail aisle family! Very rude and disrespectful! The "boss" has major attitude problems and needs to learn how to treat customers. She was not even a manager she lied, i know the manager and he is very nice but little does he know that his employees are driving away customers. No wonder the place is always empty, all employees are rude and have ego issues. The entire experience is them gossiping about you in their language. I finally found a good nail salon close to my house that is open on a Sunday. I checked this place out with some girl friends from out of town to get pedicures. We didn't have appointments so we waited a few minutes for our turn as a group of 3. Pretty big space that holds a lot of pedi chairs even several Hell Kitty ones for your little one(s). You're greeted once you enter and they have you sign in. Instead of grabbing your designer nail color bottle you have nail color palettes to look over and pick out. Many options for the pedicure that fits your time and budget ranging from $22 for the $50 Pedi Express to Pedi Spa Renew-U. All the Pedi-chairs are deluxe heated massage chairs and you're asked by every staff member if you'd like a drink. So you don't have to worry about getting dehydrated during your 30 minute appointed. My husband and son got me a gift card here for Christmas so I went yesterday for a mani-pedi. The place is clean and modern upon appearance. The technician that did my services was not what I would call social, she never once asked me what services I wanted, would you like something to drink, is your water ok, nothing. She did my mani while I was sitting in the pedi chair, which was not relaxing, the polishing was average at best, my cuticles are mangled and sore today. When I was done I stood at the register for 10 - 15 minutes to be checked out because there is only one person there to do checkout evidently. These things seem trivial but for a working busy Mom who rarely takes time or the expense to get pampered it was a let down, won't be back. Read Less

I listened to the positive reviews over the negative and It was a huge mistake. The lady did not speak once. Didn't ask me what version of a mani/pedi I wanted or anything. Just pointed to the color I selected. Never turned on the foot jets, hardly trimmed my nails and stopped multiple times to check her Facebook or respond to messages. So much so that I thought I was supposed to be doing something while she took a break. She cut 2 of my cuticles way too low. The UV hand machine for gel wouldn't turn on and I mentioned this three times. She acted like she didn't hear me. I had to wave my hand to get her attention and she huffed like I had done something wrong. I wanted a pretty rose colored pink and ended up with bubble gum pink and when I mentioned it was the wrong one she said it was the one I chose. Very clean nail bar and friendly staff. I really like the massage chairs, and they even offer heated massages.  Very comfortable too. I read good reviews in this place and wanted to give it a try.  I walked in and was not acknowledged by any employee for a few minutes even though each one of them looked me directly in my face until I was told to pick a color.  Strange, I thought but then I brushed it off as them being busy.  Another customer and I were comparing colors (the only two black women there) at the front desk when we're both screamed at to "Sit down".  Needless to say, we both decided it was time to go.  I was offered no apology or even questioned as to why I was leaving.  I would never step foot in this place again!! So so place to go. I'm new to Huntersville and I picked a placed that was open and had good reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. I was in and out with a classic shellac mani and pedi within an hour, which always takes at least 1.5 hours anywhere else. The attention to detail is less than par. The colors you are allowed to choose from don't match the bottles they bring you. The customer service and personalities are dull. For the price, I won't be back... NOT WORTH IT! Read Less

What a refreshing gel mani and spa pedicure. I was welcomed to a wide array of polish choices and offered a drink. This place is clean, the tools are one person use only, and they even have a one time use plastic pedicure tub liner. Such a beautiful Salon! I came here during my stay in NC. Heard about this place so went to try it out. The shop itself was gorgeous, modern looking and clean. The receptionist, I think her name was Kayla were wonderful and knowledgeable. She made great recommendations and I had a manicure and pedicure done. It was so relaxing and they definitely put enough time in it. It's kind of sad going back to Philly and not have a place like that here. When I go back to visit my family, I would definitely give myself a treat. Totally satisfied with service and products. Would recommend to everyone who's willing to spend a bit more and receive exceptional services.
