As a previous reviewer mentioned, while the prices "seem" comparable to others in the area, not all services include the basics I’d expect given that I get the same service all the time. I asked for an SNS manicure and it cost $60 as they charged an additional $5 for soak off of my old SNS and another $10 for the manicure portion on top of the $45 SNS fee. There was also no cash discount, and you can’t tip on a card. I ended up at Magnolia Nails as my normal salon was closed and I was a bit desperate as I was about to leave on a trip. They did great with my daughters nails and pedicures. The day we were all in together they forgot I wanted my nails done so I had to come back. I have been here on multiple occasions with great service. I came this morning for an express pedicure, when I got my bill i was charged 10 dollars more than expected. My technician knew I had wanted the express. The only difference I noticed was more buffing than normal. Absolutely love this salon! I come all the way from mint hill! I love there magnolia pedicure! And when they have enough people they do your nails  while you have a pedicure. Very clean, organized and polite. They have a nail bar and do waxing as well. Read Less

Amazing service!!! Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Was greeted by a nice young man and sitted immediately. Was offered wine or alcohol mixed drink. They have a "bar area" setup. Nail technician was very attentive to my needs and how I wanted my nails to look. He was very funny!!! Ended up getting hands and feet serviced. It was nice the drying table had warm air blowing on my feet. Massage chairs/pedicure chairs made myBack and thighs feel so much better. This place is so nice clean and Relaxing!!!!! Everything is shiny and new and you they make you feel like a queen. This is definitely a place to come if you wanted to be pampered. I got a custom pedicure and French shellac manicure. Tammy and Cindy were fantastic! I loved how everything turned out. The salon is spacious and looks great. This is a terrible place, don't waste your time coming here. First of all, the employees there are so disrespectful, especially the guys with the glasses. He did a terrible job on my nails, he cut me two times and when I asked him not to do that, he completely ignored me and didn't even apologize and even had the audacity to mutter racist remarks. Went there today on short notice. I called ahead of time and they said I could come in, I waited about 5 minutes until May started on my nails. She was very nice and knew exactly what she was doing! I had 2 very good experiences here and then a bust. On my third visit I came in to get a set done. The gentlemen who started my nails obviously didn't know what he was doing and kept ripping my nails off with the fake nails. Then he actually splits my 3rd nail. Doesn't apologize one time. And the entire time he tells me how much he hates doing this. So I kindly asked for someone else to do my nails, feeling he doesn't know what he is doing and has now actually messed up my real nail and caused me a decent amount of pain. (To add he also didn't even let me go wash the blood off of my finger! Just glues a clear fake nail to it! And didn't clean his supplies after my blood got on them!)Then a girl who I assume was the manager came over and did my nails. In which they are all different lengths, shapes and sizes! And did not do them the way I asked her to do them. The part that really irritates me is; they don't even apologize one time about anything! When you hurt someone like that at least apologize! Wife said she Walked in mid-afternoon on a recent Friday for first time.  She walked in and asked if there was a wait for mani-pedi. Gentleman who greeted her said no wait and took her right to pedicure chair. Water temp was tepid at best and quickly got cold water (yuck). She waited...and waited. 15 minutes, 30 minutes. She finally asked the man as he walked by how much longer. He said 5 - 10 minutes.  She explained that She would have come back later or another day if the wait was going to be any longer. 20 more minutes and She finally got up, toweled off and walked out. Ok so this place is the nicest salon I have been to in the area. Very nicely decorated, spacious and seems clean. I just wish their prices reflected the level of service they offer rather than the fancy decor. I took my two small daughters (6) with me and they recived the $30 little divas.  Both their nails  look sloppy to me, and one is smudged. They just never took the time to double check and fix.The girls were perfect and sat still so not on them. As for me I felt rushed to pick a color because they wanted to start my mani at the same time.   In the end it looks like it needs another coat of polish, but I felt so rushed.  On my feet the gal wanted to charge me and extra $10 to apply some of the callous remover gel stuff! Crazy as every other place that is just par for the course. Only one of the gals who worked on us was very friendly. Showed up to get my daughter a manicure. Full house so I didn't mind the wait. A few women go before me even though they walked in after me so I assume they had appointments. Then as women began coming in and signing the wait sheet, and being called back before me...then I got a bit agitated. After an hour and 20 minutes, the nail tech comes up to FIVE women that came in an hour after me and took them back. I got up, asked what was going on and this lady tells me..."they here first...". I literally have been sitting here with my daughter and two sons for an hour and 20 minutes and "they here first"??? GTFOH!!! To begin, I made a reservation for a regular manicure almost a week in advance and I chose this salon based on a couple of my friend's good past experiences. When I first walked in to check in the gentleman at the front seemed surprised to see me. After fumbling around he instructed me to pick a polish color and sit in one of the open chairs at a station to wait. I waited for a few minutes and then checked my phone realizing that I was 5 minutes early. I waited and waited with no further acknowledgement for 15 minutes PAST my appointment time. I asked the girl sitting next to me if she also had an appointment and she said that she did not but seemed okay waiting forever and being ignored as well....she's probably still there waiting. I just got up and left. Magnolia Nails was so unprofessional and rude to a customer with an appointment that I will NEVER be back. To cap it all off I had to sit staring at a dirty towel with ends of fake tips sitting on the top of this station from the previous customer the whole time. Gross. Read Less

Ok, I am still trying to decide if I like them or not. I have had two good and two bad visits. Sometimes my gels last two weeks and sometimes not. Now the places is beautiful but I often feel they don't really like the customer. I had a mother daughter team and the mother gave me some odd vibes. She spoke in another language all the time to her daughter who then said her mother said she had big boobs(which she did not) and i was wondering if she was talking about me. So since I spent 120.00 to get my nails done with tip, I think I will try a few more places. I keep thinking back to the Seinfeld episode where they are all talking behind Elaines back and would rather not the the ridiculed client. since I don't understand and they chose not to speak English, i will look for a place that allows the clients to hear what they are saying.  Oh plus the mother filed down my nails way past what I woudl have liked. I'm confidently adding to the many 5 star reviews of this salon! I went early on a weekday and got right in. I'm pregnant so I was looking for a salon with good ventilation and Magnolia lived up to the great recommendation I got from other moms. Also - I tried their SNS nails for the first time (no UV light and odor free). It's a powder dipping system. Not sure I can ever go back to regular gel manicures now! Absolutely loved my nail tech Nora. Fabulous in every way!! Definitely going back after my baby comes to indulge in the generous wine bar offerings - it would have been a great mimosa morning. I've been to so many nail salons in this area and this is by far my favorite!! Super upscale, luxurious interior that makes you feel like you're at a spa. I received a regular manicure. My manicurist was absolutely awesome. She was extremely nice. I originally wanted a gel manicure and she thought the regular manicure was better for the health of my nails at this time. She was more concerned about the health of my nails rather than an unnecessary upgraded service. They accept credit cards but you cannot add tip. Tips are done by cash or check. Keep that in mind. I had to go to Harris Teeter to get cash and come back and tip I will definitely return. I had a great experience! Read Less

The staff is friendly and make your visit pleasant. They interact with the customers and make you feel welcome, which some salons really lack at the social aspect.
