It wasn't bad but it was not great. I went in to get a gel manicure and the color turned out great but my nail length is not even or squared. I asked to keep most of the length and she cut too short. I also sat for longer than I am use to to soak off the preexisting nail polish, it seemed like they did not put enough polish remover on to begin with. I want to first say thank you to Erick and his wife and the entire staff. Recently moved to the area from mint hill and was in desperate need of a nail tech and great atmosphere. Today I brought my Mother along for a spa pedicure, Erick and his wife both took their time and made my Mother feel right at home. I went to get a gel manicure, and it was the mood changing one. I had no idea until she was finished with my first hand. She told me that it would change to the color I had asked for after ten minutes of it being done. I had paid and left. An hour went by and the only thing that changed was the tip of my nail. The rest of my nail was a neon green. I went back and said I had a question. One of the ladies said well you came here so what's your question. I asked what she recommend I do for it to stay the color I want and she had the worst attitude arguing with me. The manager came over and was extremely rude, all the customers there were staring and it was very uncomfortable. I explained to them how the woman who did my nails didn't thoroughly explain how it worked several times. I eventually just left because they were extremely rude and unprofessional. very poor customer service and very rude to customers. the service i was given (gel manicure) was done very sloppy and was done fairly quick for something that i would want perfect. definitely would not spend my money and waste my time on diva nails. would much rather spend a little bit more money on higher quality customer service and effort. I've been going this place for 7 years now. Since first time we met, she did a Great job , nail look fabulous, Pedicure was perfect and warm welcome every time I come. Her name is FLOWER. She is one my favorite nail tech and the best nail tech of all in this Diva nail salon. She is sweet as can be and didn't make me feel rushed at all! I appreciate her amazing service. Went in for a GEL toe Nail polish change. Was told by the staff the price was $13. $8 for the polish and $5 to remove the previous gel. I repeated that I wanted GEL several times and repeated the price. The Male patron stated "Yes A Gel nail polish change with new gel polish will be $13". I sat down and had the nail tech began the process of removing 7 toes with gel nail polish. When I selected my color swatch the tech stated "the price is $25". Confused I stated "You said the price was $13." He went to get another nail tech who stated "Oh he didnt understand you. So the price is $25. He thought you wanted a manicure nail polish change." ......The words manicure never came out my mouth..... She stated "Well its not our fault that he didn't understand what you meant". I replied "He quoted me that specific price 3times, if he didnt understand why didnt he say so?" She again tried to argue with me as a customer, telling me I was wrong. No ma'am. This place seemed very nice at the beginning, there was three of us that went in and they told us that we would get a discount for having three people, at the end of the aweful expeirence they charged us almost double than what was originally quoted. But that was not even the worst part, the work itself was so poor, they rushed to get people in and when we questioned the looks of our nails they told us that they know how to do nails and to not tell them how to do nails. One of my friends was started then they put her aside to work on a new person, she sat there waiting for her turn again for 20 minutes.
