We were a walk in, waited 2 hours, due to nail technicians servicing clients that was regulars. My daughter and I finally received serviced. My daughter and I paid for pedicures and the gel powder for our nails. Due to our long wait, the owner gave my daughter a eyebrow arching for free. Usually had a standing appt at 530 pm after work. Got there 15 mins early, but my manicurist tells me the owner wants her to wait on a walk in customer first! Making me now wait 30 minutes to be taken care of, mind you , I set up this appointment regularly every two weeks! It’s been progressively worse each time having to wait. So I am having a conversation with a client about the fact that an appointment doesn’t seem to matter. The “owner” told me I could either wait or find another salon!!! On that note... The ower did my finger nails and left a dark black base color on my nails that was already on them from the last time I got my nails done. I had a light foil color this time and my nails looks dirty underneath because the owner didn't bother to finish taking my old polish off. After I saw the finish results ...I ask him what could be done about it....he said nothing... need to grow out....Right!!!!....Then when I was paying he ask me how I like my nails. I told him again I didn't like how my nails looked underneath because of the dark polish he left on...I said my nails looks dirty underneath. He said no they don't. I have been going to this nail salon since it opened. It used to be the best place in this area. I'd had a few bad experiences before, but this past Saturday's experience takes the cake. My mom and I went to get pedicures and manicures as my birthday present. The pedicure was no problem at all. The issue began with the fact that I was having my acrylic nails from New Years removed, and the woman proceeded to yank each one off individually with another acrylic tip.... I protested four or five times asking if she could use the foil and that it hurt. She ripped multiple of my real nails so far down that it was painful, and when I pointed it out she just said "see, this easier, you don't need foil." She told me that it was better for my nails to pull them off. Why would I pay someone to remove my nails that way when I could have done it myself for FREE. She barely filed my nails, leaving them jagged, uneven, and sharp. My mom and I were pretty certain that we were being made fun of and laughed at by my technician. All in all, we paid $86 + a tip and I was not impressed at all. I will never recommend this place or step foot inside again. Read Less

I have been here at least a dozen times. Overall the staff is friendly and does a good job on my nails. They have occasionally cut me when doing a manicure, but it wasn't anything massive. Just a nip. I would definitely come here the next time I'm in town. Read Less

I have been here 5 times and they have cut me 3 of those times.  We are not talking little boo boos, either--we are talking murder scene blood situations.  It is my own fault for going back and giving them more chances, but I admit that I caved to the convenience of the location.  Never again.  The cherry on the cake is that the employees are not very friendly.  You would hope that you would at least get an apology when they gut you like a fish in the pedicure chair, but they still act like you are lucky to be there. Went a week ago during the week early in the day and was very disappointed.  Suggested this place to my friend due to convenient location and feel terrible for the suggestion.  The young lady that did the $30.00 pedicure for my friend didn't even work on the dry skin on her heels or bottom of toes... They were mediocre at best with both mani and pedi.  I could of expected this if they were crowed but seemed as though they were just working through the motions to finish with disregard in doing a good job.  Not the nicest I guess borderline rude when we asked for them to address our heels.  This will be the last time I walk in their establishment!  Spend your money and time somewhere else.... So I first went here right before my wedding.  They did a good job but I felt they technician was a bit "heavy handed"  I started going to a place near my work.A month ago I had a day off and decided to give them another try.  I am glad that I did.  The shop had been remodeled from my  last visit.  They did a really good job.  Today I went again and was again very happy with the results.  The technician really seemed to care that she did a good job. I went to get my nails done here about two weeks ago. The clerk who did my nails was not very nice and made my nails way too thin when he removed the dip gel nails I had on. The nail clerk was inexperienced with knowing about the powder dip gel nails in general. I did get the shellac nails done and after a week they started to chip. They did look nice for about a week. I've been here a few times and have always had a good experience. I will say, however, about 2 years ago when they first opened I had my nails done bad, and the next time I went to get them fixed they charged me nothing for the repair + new color. I went last night and used a gift card that was for $50. I wanted gel powder nails & my eyebrows waxed, the total was $57 and they took care of the extra $7 since I was adamant about only using $50. A man started my nails, David, and he did a great job. The lady who waxed my eyebrows finished my nails and also did a great job. They are always nice and can accommodate my walk-ins. I've gone here several months but done with it.  The men do a horrible job and even when I make an appt in advance for one of the female nail techs they stick me with one of the men.  They are rude, jerk your hands around and soak your fingers in cold, plain water for a manicure. Read Less

Worst pedicure I ever got today. I really want to like this place because it is so convenient for me, fairly clean for a nail salon, and has a nice atmosphere. However, I have been there multiple times since they opened, and have only once gotten a pedicure that I was really happy with. Today, the manicurist seemed like she was in another world. Only some toes were worked on, only one leg got the massage and moisturizer. My nails were so sharp and jaggedly uneven, they could have drawn blood. I ended the pedicure just before she started to do the polish, (stupidly) paid, and left so I could finish the job myselfThat is the last time for this salon. Although it is kept very clean, the employees are not friendly, and I did not enjoy having my nails done directly next to the counter where people check in and pay when they're finished. The man that did my pedi and gel didn't speak he would just frequently look at me. They also wanted to massage my shoulders instead of the normal lotion on your hands. I declined. Won't be returning. Horrible experience.  I went here because it's convenient and I like to give business to local spots, but never again.  I asked for a gel set; the man was rushing, couldn't and wouldn't do them short. And when I quietly explained how I liked to wear my nails, just did what he wanted and proceeded to do a bad job at that. After he became frustrated with me, mind you, after only I gently said it wasn't exactly what I wanted, did he get super frustrated and proceeded to have another lady come and try to fix the nail he had messed up. He then starts to argue in his language about me with three other worker gentlemen. It was like a scene from a comedy sketch doing stereo typical nail salon situations.  I did tell him that although I do not speak his language, I am fully aware that he was complaining about me and my "difficult" nature.  The nerve of me wanting shorter round nails. Anyway, it was just a frustrating experience and they did an awful, awful job; not even good communication could have helped the outcome. Zero stars would be more appropriate. No attention to detail. Very careless manicure. I only asked for special attention to my cuticles, no need for polish. I had to ask for cuticle remover and she didn't even push them back. I went back next day to get redone and she started bad mouthing me to coworkers. Have been going to this salon for 2 years now and have had great service.  They are always super busy, so your best option is to make an appt. or get there when they open.  They recently expanded their current space and now have a lot more space with a bar. I haven't had anything from the bar, but the renovation is very nice.  They added 2 butterfly children pedicure stations along with lots more adult chairs and manicure stations.  I've gone in just to have my nails filed, trying to make my gel manicure last a little longer and they didn't charge me.  They are better with telling people they don't have time - could they come back, rather then trying to keep the people there by saying it'll be 30 min.  They are a business- you can't ALWAYS just walk in and get service!  People need to be real!!!   Make an appt , get there when they open or give yourself time to wait!  I think they could expand to an even larger space and still be busy! I will never come back here again. I have given this place multiple chances and frankly, it sucks. I live locally in Clayton and will make a long drive to a nicer place if I have to. I dealt with 2 different people and still hate my nails. They are ugly and look nothing like the picture I showed everyone. I understand nail salons have foreign workers but when you can't understand that I'm not happy and it still isn't what I want don't nod and keep going.  Also don't charge me full price. I paid $60 and I'm so unhappy. Like I said I have given this place multiple chances after being disappointed and have finally said IM DONE. I will tell everyone I know to not come back to this place and I will take my business to NICER, BETTER QUALIFIED people in Raleigh. Could have been a great experience.  Everything was there.  The salon was nice and spacious. I liked the neck massages I was seeing done on their customers. But that was it.  It was very busy the day I went and was told it was a 1/2 hour wait.  The wait turned into an hour.  I knew I should have just left however, this was the only block of time I'll have to myself for several weeks.  I requested a mani and pedi.  First up was my mani-the entire process took less than ten minutes before I was rushed into the pedi area.  My nail tech was more interested in what was going on in the spa then filing my nails, as evident by the pads of my nails, they were filed more than my nails.  I sat in the pedi chair for 40 minutes, waiting.  Which was a good thing- my foot spa still had the same sanitary bag from the previous client. There were rings of skin around the bag and on the filter.  Eventually one of the workers started my and I asked if they would clean it first, they were ready to protest until they wiped their hands in the tub and were covered in film.  Then I sat again for another 15 minutes.  The nail tech I started with came to do my pedi and apologized.  Again she was too busy with others and the spa and not paying attention to what she was doing and sliced off a section of my skin.  I didn't know what happened but felt a pain in my foot, she moved on with her work until I pulled my foot up and saw that there was a section missing and it was bleeding.   It was then she asked if I was ok.  No it wasn't.  As I said in the beginning, I think they have the potential to be a great salon- but they need to focus on the customer and what they are doing, before somebody gets hurt.  If you do go:Make sure your tub is clean-there were several that were notPrepare to spend some timeAnd bring along some antibiotic cream and band-aids. Recommend it!Ambience - Very clean nail salon!  Decorated in a peaceful calming color. Great mural on the wall and the ceiling painted as a cloudy sky is a nice touch. Service - The staff are pleasant and professional. The shop is very busy but they got us in right away with no wait time. My wife and mother in law enjoyed getting their pedi's done.  There is really no waiting area for those not getting anything done or have finished. Love this place. So clean. Staff is very attentive even when it is very busy on a Saturday morning. Go for the ultimate pedicure.  It is a little pricey but very worth it for a 1 and half hour pedicure. Pure heaven! Read Less
