I went for a Brazilian Wax. Something I had only done once and it wasn’t a great experience, so I was already nervous. When I walked in, I was surprised to find out how friendly and professional the staff were. I drive about 25 min to get my Brazilian wax and after today I will not mind the drive. You want to go to a professional place try Esthetique. You honestly get what you pay for! I made a same day appointment at Pure Wax today for my underarms since it's driving distance. When I arrived my son was with me and the receptionist was telling me he wasn't allowed in there with me. I bring him everywhere with me! Dentist, Doctor, Nail salon, Eyebrow threading, etc. He's five years old and I wasn't going to leave him in the waiting area with a total stranger alone. I have never been told this before. I mean for goodness sake I wasn't getting a Brazilian which I understand that's a different story. She was unprofessional and has no heart! I discovered this place using a Groupon and I'll definitely be back! I love the decor! Each room has a theme: Hollywood, Paris, etc.I love how patient and informative Nikki was. Getting a wax after haven't having one in 2years is like starting over and Nikki kept me focused on conversation which made the sensitive experience as painless and quick as possible. The best bikini wax I've had in Charlotte! I have tried several places - Toccare, Nue, European Wax.  The salon was very clean; my tech used a brand new stick every time she dipped into the hard wax, no strips were used and she wore gloves. The process was very quick and efficient. My service was over before I knew it and it prevented me from anticipating the pain. The next day, my skin was no longer sensitive which is a huge deal! I was sooo nervous   but Nancy  made me feel so comfortable an at ease during the whole process .  She tells you everything as she is doing it and before you know it , you're all done ! Now ..it did hurt when she pulled , but it was more of a shock pain lol .   All I could do was laugh through it . Nickie is sooo good! She was super nice and professional. I went to her for my first-ever Brazilian wax, finding her on Groupon and reading her reviews on Yelp. She put me at ease as soon as I was on the table and she even put up with my awkward laughing spells. She uses hard wax, which is so much better for your skin and doesn't burn.
