Had my first appointment here for the first time yesterday for a gel manicure, and it is the best manicure I have EVER gotten. It's worth it to pay a few extra bucks for quality work. I had Timmy and he did a GREAT job. Ambiance was nice as well. The only other thing that will really seal the deal is if they are able to take off the gel polish without hurting my super thin nails in a couple of weeks (unlike previous salons I've been to where they don't let them soak long enough and end up scraping to the point of pain). I'm a huge fan of both J'Adore and their sister salon La Pure over in Plaza Midwood. These two and Tiptoe are my three go-to places of the moment. I love that you can request an appointment on Yelp. Let's be honest though, I never think to make nail appointments. It's always a spur of the moment, oh crap my nails need to be fixed, kind of thing. The pretty light fixtures and plush throne-like chairs make you feel fancy (I will say I like the chairs at La Pure better). When you sit down, you pick either lavender buds or rose petals for your soak bath. The receptionist type person will then hand you a drink menu (beer, wine, and a laundry list of tea options) and a menu of services. Gel polish with mani ($40) and De-Reve pedi ($48) is my usual combo here. I tend to zone out and people watch out the window. They have a great selection of colors here. This place is superb! From the moment you walk in you are immediately greeted. I wanted a pedicure and drove all the way from Columbia, SC to try this place out and I have to say I have 0 regrets. My pedicurist was Kelly and she was awesome. I got the signature pedicure because I wanted the extra 10 min massage. The prices are kinda high but you get what you pay for. Nice, clean and gorgeous salon... wonderful and caring staff. They kept refilling my wine for me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Top Notch! I took my niece with me for a "Diva Spa Day" It was wonderful. Beautiful and luxurious decor, super kind staff that immediately offered refreshments for both of us. They chatted with us the whole time while giving her a great manicure and myself a relaxing pedicure. They even let her sit next to me while they finished up my polish. Went here with a few of my girlfriends after a recommendation. It was a busy time during the holidays but the staff was very attentive and kind. They offered us complimentary hot teas as we waited for our appointment (we got there a bit early, of course). We loved the setup and furniture of the place. We had a very relaxing time at J'Adore. I love love love my nails. Every single time I go to J'Adore I leave happier than before. I have a love for a nice manicure and the girls at J'Adore never fail to give me just that! I also love their pedicures. The girls that work here are all experienced and don't need to be guided by the customer throughout the process. Short version: this is hands down the best salon in Charlotte. Their customer service and attention to detail is unmatched anywhere else in the city. Their technicians are talented and their space is gorgeous and comfortable. They have a whole slew of organic teas, plenty of varieties of wine and beer, and more to choose from in terms of drinks. The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of service.My initial plan this morning was to go to La Pure, the sister store to J'Adore, because it's closer to my house and I have had nothing but AMAZING experiences there. They were closed though, so I went to the nearest nail salon in Plaza Midwood... and they did an awful job. My cuticles were a wreck, there was polish all over my skin, they didn't file after painting so the edges of my nails were jagged. They chose my nail and toe colors for me (!?!) and I hated them. I was so upset - I'm leaving for vacation with my boyfriend tomorrow and I'm pretty sure he may pop the question, so I wanted my nails to look perfect!I contacted J'Adore to see if they might be able to help me fix the situation. The manager Dee replied to me promptly and told me they'd be glad to help. When I arrived, the receptionists were able to get me in within 10 minutes and helped me find the perfect polish colors to replace the ones I had. My male technician was incredibly attentive to detail, and he fixed all the mistakes the other salon had made. By the time I left, my nails and toes both looked flawless, and they only charged me for a polish change. Everyone was kind while I was there; they made me a cup of hazelnut truffle tea that was delicious, and every small detail (from the beautiful decorations to the comfortable chairs to having heated towels for you to dry your hands with) made my trip here even more wonderful.Thank you, thank you, thank you to Dee and everyone else who made this such a positive experience! To be honest, this review could easily be two stars. But, I still have a lot of nice things to say about J'Adore so let's get to it. For starters, I was able to request an appointment through the Yelp app, and someone got back to me in minutes. Major props for that. I arrived to my appointment and was happy to see that the salon looked just as nice in person as it does in photos. I picked out my colors and was led over to a pedicure chair, where I opted for rose petals (over lavender) in my soaking water. The chair, I felt, was a little uncomfortable. The woman doing my pedicure got to work while another woman came over to give me my gel soak-off. Or so I thought. After my gels were off, she went right into the manicure. So I had my mani and pedi going at the same time. I can see how this might be a benefit for someone who needed to get in and out, but I felt like I couldn't relax and enjoy!Right away, I noticed that the polish for my hands looked a little thick, but the mani proceeded. When my services were over, I gave at least 20 minutes of drying time before heading out. I received 5% off with the Check-In Offer, which was great as services are pricey. By the time I got back to my hotel room, I realized one of my nails already looked a little smudged. Within 48 hours, nearly all of my nails were chipped. My manicures at my usual salon typically last at least five days so to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. On the other hand, my pedicure is doing much better. Maybe I picked the wrong polish or it was an off day, but I wasn't super happy with my experience overall. Mostly because the results of my mani were so poor. I just moved to charlotte and had difficulty finding a salon to fit my needs with SNS and the way I prefer my nails! This place was amazing!! First I reached out to them before they opened and immediately received a response and booked an appointment which they confirmed when they opened! Upon arrival I was greeted by the most friendly staff and was set up in a pedicure chair with lavender and rose petals. While my feet were soaking I was set up with a bowl to soak my nails and everything was very very clean and professional. They do offer complimentary beverages (tea, soda, water, WINE) and great attention to detail! I will definitely be back!!Edit 13 days later: my nails have chipped and cracked in places and I'm not sure why as I ALWAYS get SNS and it lasts a minimum of 3 weeks as I'm very easy on my hands I mean I even wear gloves when doing any dishes I'm definitely disappointed in the quality of the SNS but the service at the salon was great. Also my pedicure chipped 5 days later which isn't a big deal but was a bit frustrating as they didn't even make it a week for the price paid but again the customer service was great overall just not very long lasting product. Short version: Best pedi massage I've ever had. Truly a relaxing and indulgent experience. You should go at least as a treat to yourself!Long version: was desperately looking for a place to have an organic pedicure that wasn't at a day spa where I would be charged $70+ Found them on Yelp and messaged them through the app to make my appointment. Just that interaction was great. Dee scheduled me, answered my questions, explained where I could park and  told me about their tardiness policy.The day came and I had no trouble finding where to park thanks to Dee's instructions (Harris Teeter parking deck). I pulled up to the Shops at Fifth, parked my car and walked around before noticing that there were double doors that could've taken me closer to their store front.First impression: beautiful place, very Instagrammable! The staff? Also beautiful and very professional/courteous. They have a full menu for beverages that includes a wide selection of loose leaf teas (my fave). I was taken to my seat and asked to choose between Lavender or Rose foot soak, I chose Lavender. I sat down and got comfortable. My tea was brought to me and my service began.I chose the De-Rêve pedicure which includes the callus treatment and mud mask. My technician's name was "Long". He did a great job. I asked him to polish my nails all the way to the cuticle. I hate when nail techs clean the area just in front of my cuticles. I feel like it makes a fresh pedi look like my nails have already grown out. He understood and did as I asked. Although, he did clean the area up and a left a little bit of a gap but not much. My service took 45min to complete and I felt like a good portion was massage...which was awesome! Especially since they don't have the massage chairs like other places do...trust me, you won't miss them. Once my service was completed, I was told to just hang out for a few minutes in my chair to allow the nails to dry. Which was fine with me because I was too relaxed to get up anyway!If I had to give one piece of constructive criticism, and this is very much a personal preference, is that I would have liked the soles of my feet wiped before having my sandals put back on. I totally forgot to ask him to do this and I was slipping and sliding in my sandals. Again, totally my fault but I have had other nail techs wipe them off before putting on my sandals and found that much better (and safer) for me. Truly a wonderful experience. This nail salon is AMAZING!!  I was visiting for a work conference and this was the closest to my hotel so I popped in.  It is hands down the most beautiful nail salon I have been to.  Instead of the standard massage chairs they have huge velvet comfy chairs for your pedicure. When you soak your feet/hands in water you have the option of two different scented waters (lavender and rose bud).  Have a large selection of teas and wines to choose from while you enjoy your service.  My nail tech was amazing.  This was hands down the best manicure I've ever had.  Everyone is super friendly and nice.  If I lived in the area I would absolutely be a regular customer here.  They offer a 7 day policy on their gel nails.  If within 7 days, your gel starts to peel they will fix it free of charge! I would recommend calling ahead to make an appointment, because it was pretty busy, especially once the work crowd starting filing in.NOTE: it is more expensive than your average nail salon, but this should not deter you from going here because you are paying for high quality. I stopped in for a last minute manicure and pedicure. Full disclosure, I typically go to a salon on East -- I have for years! But this location is closer to me and I was doing it on a whim so figured I'd give this place a try. I really love the vibe. It feels so luxurious and comfy. They offer services to match the vibe, including fragranced foot soaks and a pedicure option that includes 10 minute foot massage. In my limited experience, everything ran a little pricier but nothing seemed absurdly expensive. They have a good selection of polishes. My manicure and pedicure both turned out great. Everyone is really friendly. Plus, they offer a rewards program!I feel torn about what I'll do for my next stop at the nail salon, since I have been going to the other place for so long. I was in town to stop by my hub office and needed some attention to my feet after all that walking in uptown Charlotte. I chose the signature pedicure and enjoyed the extra touches like lavender sprigs in the foot bath and a soothing mask at the end. This was my first time here and will not be my last. In the future, I will definitely make an appointment!The first question asked was if I would like my bath soak to have lavender or rose buds. That was like music to my ears! I chose lavender...which i could see in my tub. The pedicure chairs were very comfortable and with a glass of wine in hand (they have an extensive beer, wine, soda and tea menu to choose from) I was ready to be pampered. I opted for the de-base pedicure ($34) and gel manicure ($40). While the cost was slightly more expensive that my usual go-to place (Polished), the fourteen dollar increase will not deter me.The pedicure was great. My technician invested a lot of time in making sure that my toes were the best that they could be.  In regard to cleanliness, they use disposable liners in each tub. The manicure was just as excellent! Slightly pricey but I do love the way it turned out. Based on the convenience and overall experience, I would highly suggest this nail salon. So I am a first timer... and I have to admit this was a really great first experience. I would give it 10/5 if I can. A few things I really liked, is that everyone ws really friendly and professional. They had a menu with all different options for beer, wine, and tea. I'm a beer kinda guy so that was right up my alley. After a few Coronas and being pampered at the same time by 2 different ppl, I was feeling like a new man. My technician was very detailed about every steps and kept me in the loop with everything she was doing bc Im sure she saw the nervous look I had. I really do appreciate the extra care she took on my feet. I chose the signature pedicure since it was the whole nine and I'm glad I did. The entire experience was more than what I had expected. I have mixed feelings about this place. The complimentary wine and tea is one of their better services. The nail technician rushes through my pedicure.  The other nail technician told me that the color I chose was for 'old people' and that I should choose another....who does that?? My cuticles were in pain for days after she hurt me while doing them and making me bleed. The s&s was very thick and did not cover my whole nail. Too expensive for the quality of work. Also, the pedicure chairs look nice but they are very uncomfortable and stiff. I want to lean back and relax while getting a pedicure, not sit straight up with no range of motion. As a college student... I decided to step out my comfort zone and treat myself for once. Normally I'm not the type to get a manicure or pedicure. But one of my close friends recommended J'Adore so I thought I'd give it a try. It had been a stressful week for me so I was like, why not? I get anxious really easily so downtown parking is not something I like do to often. Luckily, there's a parking garage where the Harris Teeter is located and you're allowed to park for 90 minutes. That definitely saved me some trouble. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by lots of smiling staff, and they had asked me what I wanted. I've heard a lot about the SNS dipping powder method vs. the gel... so I decided to go with the SNS and honestly I've never been happier. I've been meaning to write this review for a little while now... but the SNS stayed on for close to over three weeks. I even went to Turks and Caicos, and when I came back the nails still looked presentable. I would say everything from the /ambience/ service/quality is why I gave this place a five star rating. After having a horrendous Wednesday, I knew I needed a bit of relaxation and decided a specialty pedicure was what I needed. So I took to Yelp to help me out and stumbled upon J'Adore.First off, parking. I parked in the Harris Teeter lot that has 90 minute free parking. You may also be able to find street parking during the non banking hours. Walked and was immediately greeted and asked what type of petals I wanted for my pedicure....awesome! I chose lavender. Then I picked my color. They carry a brand that is made from organic material and not tested on animals...so my pedicure saved the environment and, this, I HAVE to go back (my husband was not amused).My pedicure chair was super comfy and I was able to soak my feet right away. I was given a menu with all the different pedicures. Opted for the mid range one (De-Reve) which was in the $40s range. A bit pricey but totally worth it!  Next I was given a drink menu. Yes, drink menu. They had tons of teas and lots of wine options (plus water, soda, beer). I opted for a peach mango green tea that was delicious.After my tea arrived, I settled in to the most relaxing pedicure of my life. No, I restate. The best pedicure of my life. A series of different scrubs, creams, and mask (oh man that leg mask was fantastic) all of which smelled heavenly!! I really appreciated the attention to detail. Like going over my toes after painting to remove any small bit of paint that got on the skin/perfect the nail paint line. If you are going for cheapo/get me in and out in 15 minutes, don't come here. This establishment is really chic! I came in and was instantly greeted by the owner. She directed me to the pedicure station and the young man proceeded to provide a pedicure. I was offered a beverage and he came right away. I was able to check in and get a discount. I had a brief conversation with the owner was very lovely. Fast forward two weeks and my pedicure still was looking good. If you want a pleasant experience please stop by this nail salon. My only critique would be the parking situation, it's a little confusing. Note: park in the deck for a space that is 60-90 mins. That would be plenty of time to get in and out! After working 9 days straight I was in desperate need of some TLC. So a friend of mine told me to try out J'Adore. I was already so intrigued by their lush pedicure chairs and I felt like it was a cool concept that they used organic products. So I gave it a shot and I have never seen customers so happy with their services before! While I was waiting a customer almost hugged her nail technician because of how good her nails looked. So already, a good sign there!So when I went in, I was greeted quickly and asked what service I would like. I always do a regular manicure and I went for the J'Adore pedicure which comes with 4 aroma options and I picked the Papaya Pineapple. I wanted this option because of the 10 minutes massage and the skin mask. With every pedicure you can choose either rose petals or lavender petals for your water. I picked Lavender and cucumber.  Then I picked my color, they had OPI products with gel polish matches along two walls. They also had a brand that I have never heard of ella + mila, which is a vegan nail Polish that is never tested on animals and does not have 7 crazy sounding chemicals which I assume are typically in most nail polish brands. So I picked one of the ella + mila colors and went to sit down. The pedicure chair was softer than I imagined! They did my manicure while I was getting my pedicure to ensure that my nails were dry by the time my pedicure was done. The manicure looked great and we had some great conversation. The pedicure tub was lined with a plastic liner, the nail file and buffers were offered to me because each customer gets their own set. So A+ in my book for cleanliness. While I was getting my pedicure started I was offered hot tea, wine and soft drinks. The tea selection was huge! I decided on the White Ginger Pear and I definitely recommend that to anyone who can't decide on a tea. Everything in my pedicure smelled amazinggg. I didn't smell any of the other aromas but I was VERY pleased with the Papaya and Pineapple. It was as though when they transitions from each stage of the pedicure I knew because a new smell would come around. So they did all the trimming and then a sugar scrub and then my favorite part was the skin mask. It was all the way from my ankle to just below my knees and it was my first time every doing a mask on my legs and it was so fun. I could definitely feel the difference from the mask on legs versus the rest of my body. I then got a 10 minute foot massage, which they timed with a timer to ensure I was getting every second. Then after that was paraffin wax on my heels and bottom of my feet. Best pedicure I have ever received!! Everything looked great and when I left I had an issue with my nail polish but the owner had no problem fixing it which I really admired. Beautiful salon with a friendly staff. I've been hearing great things about this new salon located across from The Vue so I had to check it out for myself. I work in the southend area so I went during my lunch time for my pedicure. The manager greeted me right when I walked through the doors and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was serviced. I have to say, this nail salon is a luxurious and top-notch salon. I really enjoy the decor because it is simple yet beautiful, the mini chandelier lights catches your eyes. It exemplifies great customer service, along with providing a very relaxing environment to their guests. As soon as you step through the door, you are greeted immediately by everyone and they make sure to get you seated and pampered as soon as possible. It gets pretty hectic during the weekends only because it is busy and people are available but it's okay! Sitting on those pedicure chairs are very relaxing and comfy that I almost fall asleep or choose to sit there forever. Aside from the chairs, they offer a big variety of complimentary beverages, from 30 different kinds of teas (green peach mango tea is a must try) to wines and beers. I was very surprised that you have the options for a soak, either lavender buds or the rose petals (it is also organic!). They use a variety of organic/natural and vegan products here, which is absolutely wonderful! It also smells amazing. The nail tech was very understanding of my desires and did a wonderful job on my nails. All of the nail techs there are very joyful and friendly. Although it might seem pricey, you're not only paying for the quality of service, but also for the environment it offers, the unlimited attention, complimentary beverages (unlimited refills) and lastly, they use organic products! I was in town for the weekend for a friend's graduation and need a pedicure, and decided to stop in J'Adore Nail Boutique. From the moment I walked in, this salon is like no other I have experienced. The decor is stylish and the atmosphere was calming and relaxing.  The plush velvet chair made me felt like a queen, it's so fancy! My experience was relaxing because they offered me a menu of complimentary beverages to select from. There was an abundance of tea, wines, beer, juices, and a variety of water selections to choose from. I opted for the tea which was served in pretty tea cup. J'Adore Nail Boutique offers luxury at its finest while maintaining top of the line sterilization and cleanliness from other nail salons that I had been too. I like their concept of the eco friendly nail polishes. I received a small goodie bag consisted of a file and buffer before I left. Called around 1pm and was able to get a same day pedicure appointment. The salon looks brand new and is very modern, clean and beautiful. For a pedicure they have three options ranging from $34-68. I opted for the middle option which included a lavender foot soak, scrub and a leg mask. All pedicures include a complimentary beverage of your choice which range from hot tea to wine and beer, sweet! Overpriced for paint job done.Had a signature spa pedicure with gel French which cost 106$ it was 76 plus 30 for gel and 5 more to do French. Had it done on Thursday and two days later 3 nails peeled off. The white part was painted sloppy and I had to pick paint off my toes Dissatisfied with the paint job. The girls were very friendly and the place had lovely decor. For the price I expected a better paint.**Wanted to add that Manager reached out to fix the issue and I am happy for the quick response and offer to fix the problem. I will change my star rating because of the quick response and managment attentiveness. Most likely I won't return because of distance and it was just a special Mother's Day trip for me and my mom. Hands down one of the best pedicures I've ever had Maybe it was all the rose petals and lavender buds that made the whole experience so fancy and fragrance-y...hehe...who knew feet can smell so good! HA! The ambience was beyond perfect, the music choice was calm and relaxing.....my manicurist was so gentle on my feet, I didn't even know I was getting a pedicure!So many new/vibrant colors to choose from, And the decors? Impeccable! Simple yet clean/classy! And a wide selections of the most exotic (and pretty...yes, that's right...PRETTY!) teas available and a variety of wines to choose from! Def a new gem in Charlotte.....oh, did I mention that most of their services/products are natural/organic and actually promote healthy skin/nails! The ladies at J'Adore exemplify customer service. I messaged Dee, general manager, to inquire of an appointment for last Saturday, April 22nd. I arrived at 10am and was immediately greeted by Dee. The staff were very accommodating. I was walked over to a plush chair with a fuzzy, soft pillow. As I relaxed and waited for the basin tub to fill with water I enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. Trish did a wonderful job on my feet. She, herself was very pleasant. After my wonderful pedicure, I was escorted to the nail bar for a gel manicure. I was told that the polish I picked was organic. My nails were neatly manicured by Ashley. She was very pleasant too. I was sent home with a manicure set. I was in and out within an hour. Fast forward to Tuesday...my nails began to chip :(. I opt for gel manicures for the durability. The polish usually remains unbothered for at least a week. The odd thing is that the polish only chipped on my pointer finger and thumb of my right hand. I'm not sure if it was the polish or the amount of time my hand was under the heat lamp. I'll be back for the service. I hope to troubleshoot with them about why my nails began to chip within days of having them painted. Read Less

I recommend anyone who wants class and quality and not feel like you're in a chop shop-go here. The rose water and drink menu was the icing. My only complaint was the massage. J'adore J'adore... See what I did there? I love J'adore?! Whether you speak about 4-words of French like me or not, there's no denying that J'adore is a special spot, worthy of love and adoration. Tucked into beautiful 4th Ward on the outskirts of uptown, the boutique's tasteful yet luxurious design is a perfect fit for the neighborhood. The minute you walk through the door, you can tell you're in a special place and are in for quite a treat. I booked a same-day pedicure through Yelp. Within an hour of messaging the shop manager, Dee, replied to confirm. She was also there to greet me warmly when I arrived and explained the drink selections, paint choices, pedicure options and make sure I was totally, 100% comfortable. All of J'adore's employees were warm and friendly. I selected the De-Reve pedicure (one step up from their basic pedi) and loved the extra touches like a sugar scrub and dead sea masque. Do note, that their services are not cheap -- at least $5-$10 more than your average, run-of-the-mill salon. (So, just be sure to check their website before your first visit so there's no major surprises.) But, that old saying, "You get what you pay for," rings true here. This is no run-of-the-mill salon. This a hip, uber relaxing, immaculately run boutique! As much as I love a long-lasting pedicure, I'm kinda hoping the polish chips quickly and my feet get rough again sooner rather than later so I can go back for another visit! Had a wonderful experience at J'Adore. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the decor is so chic. I got the signature pedicure with the lavender and rose petals bath and chose the chamomile mint aroma so that I could wind down from the weekend. My manicurist, Trish, was very attentive, friendly, and professional. I appreciated how sanitary they were. The pedicure bowls had disposable liners and the file/buffer/pumice bar are either thrown away after use or given to you in their signature bags. Next time I come back, I'll definitely get the organic pedicure as a percentage of the proceeds goes to a different nonprofit organization each month. J'Adore is the salon to go to when you need a little 'me time' away from the busyness of the city life in Charlotte. Read Less
