I have been wanting to check out Blo ever since I went with my friend to the location in Raleigh, as she got her hairdone for one of her wedding events. I set up an appointment Friday at 5 cause my hubby and I were going out to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and I figured it was a great excuse for some pampering and to look cute! I immediately was escorted to a chair where we chatted about my hair and events for the evening. Side note: My stylist never introduced herself so I do not know her name....I didnt even realize this until I left. We decided on a blow out with a bit of curl.After a wash, my stylist really took her time blowing it out. (I guess that is part of the point of coming here....right!). She also curled it using a straighter and gave me a few tips when I asked about curling. I loved that she asked if i minded hair spray. Of course I don't mind....spray me down! However, I could see some people not loving it (The spray really wasnt that sticky). Absolutely loved my hair and the way it fell. Additionally, over the weekend it maintained it's awesomeness! She was very thorough and gave me exactly what I was looking for.Two downsides:1. I am gonna sound like a prude for saying this but I really wanted some bubbles or a mimosa and was never offered anything (unlike previous reviewers). 2. I was literally the chair right beside the check in. It was just super loud and a bit distracting...mainly cause there was a large group of young girls (really, why the heck do 7 year olds need a blow out is beyond me) running around. literally. Blo is fantastic and they rescue me every time I need fabulous hair but don't have the time to make it happen. I bought their package as a working mom who has little time to waste and they efficiently get me in and out in under and hour with fabulous hair. I basically work on my phone or catch up while I'm in the chair and take advantage of my downtime. Read Less

My stylist did a great job on my blowout. She was very knowledgeable about my particular texture of thick and unruly hair. My style lasted despite the hot and humid weather. The salon is very cute, and in a quaint part of town and they offer beverages. I do recommend their services. Read Less

Great service! I was a desperate walk-in with one hour to spare before a business meeting; just came from the airport and they took me for a wash and blow immediately. She did a great job and we didn't even need the curling iron. I'd recommend this place anytime! Read Less

Whenever I need my hair done quick and perfect I go to Blo. They have a variety of style options and every single stylist has a unique way of providing a beautiful updo or a beautiful curl out. I absolutely love seeing Amanda but when she isn't available anyone else will do that's not the way it is at other salons. Blo is very professional fun and a great new concept of skipping the hair salon and the long lines of colorist and cuts.
