Definitely the best pedicure I have ever had before! The service was incredible, and everyone was so nice. We were immediately sat down and offered beverages when we walked in. I am new to the area so was wary of finding a new place that could hold up to the standards I was used to getting back home. I have had a monthly gel pedicure and twice monthly gel manicure for years. I was hopeful because this place is beautiful and new. However, the technician acted very rushed and made me feel the opposite of being pampered. The massage portions were little more than swiping on lotion; she was heavy handed and rough with the tools; the metal “cheese grater” implement left my skin in shreds; she never used a fine file, so the tips ended up being very uneven; I had spots on my toes with no polish; the soap dispensers at the sink were either broken or empty; and she talked in a foreign language to one of her coworkers the entire time (which is always bad manners). I had the worst experience here. First time client trying a new place and trying the new SnS style everyone raves about. My lady must have also been new to the idea of SnS since my pedi was perfect and my fingernails were a drag. She never asked for help but a lady stood over her for a while as they exchanged conversation in their language. 30 minutes on my pedi however I was there another hour and a half at least while she filed down most of my nails way too short and past the skin on my finger tip making them look like children's bitten nails. Never asked how long or short, never asked if I even liked the new color I was trying out. Never had my hand massage that's always offered after with lotion. My pedi massage was vigorous and actually made the arch in my foot ache which is the total opposite a client wants. I'm not the type to say I hate something and I don't want to pay for it when asked by the guy up front.... but when the price was $75 I'm a little upset. I live in South Carolina and don't make my way up to Charlotte much, was at the mall and it was right nearby and had 5 star reviews.... very disappointed and don't even want to show them off. Especially since there is still some green residue on my skin and gaps on the edges of my nail as well. Would be nice to at least be compensated or offered a fix when they grow out more with how much I paid for such terrible service. Read Less

On my first visit I encountered a unpleasant situation.  I contacted the nail salon the following day and spoke to Mindy.  I explained to her the problem with my experience/nails.  She apologized several times and assured me that she would correct to make things right. I made an appointment for later that day. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the manger of the salon (Tony). He was very sincere and apologize several times for the problems i experienced on the previous day.Both Tony and Mindy made me comfortable and assured me that they would redo my services to make things right.  They were accommodating and constantly checked to ensure I was okay and to make sure that everything was to my liking.I greatly appreciate the  efforts and time that was put into correcting my SNS and pedicure. I can't say enough good things about my first experience here! I was greeted harmly by Tony at the front desk as soon as I walked in and was shown the large selection of nail colors. Evy did a wonderful job with my acrylic fill in/gel polish. She was attentive and my nails came out better than I have ever had done! I am a stickler for cleanliness especially in nail salons and this place was immaculate, even the bathrooms! Wanted to try a new place and found that AV had a 5-star rating. By the photos it looked SUPER nice and the nail photos were great. When I arrived, the niceness from the photos PALED in comparison!!! This place is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! The unique details and the sinks and monogramed pedicure massage chairs were out of this world.I came in for SNS Dip Powder ($50). I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and getting my nails done by Mindy. By the looks of my photo, you can see how amazing of a job she did! I was welcomed and asked my choice in beverage (Cabernet Sauvignon) that came in a REAL wine glass (not a plastic cup) and guided to a comfortable seat. The worst service possible. I got cut twice, bleeding. Polish all over my skin. They spoke a different language than English the whole time. Seemed annoyed each time I asked a question or something to be fixed that clearly needed to be. No massage, not worth the money. Great salon. Upscale location and establishment. Professional and thoughtful staff. The manager Tony was very attentive, approachable, and easy going. He created great entry environment. I love that the line the pedicure bowls (sanitation is huge for the friend I am with)! The music is relaxin, soft and soothing. Great having a tv to glance at every now and then. My friends decided to treat me to a manicure for my birthday, and they found this salon on Yelp. With such great ratings and a location that was convenient for all of us (they're in the Specialty Shops across from SouthPark Mall behind BrickTops), we decided to give it a whirl. It was easy to call and make an appointment, and we appreciated that they opened early on a Saturday morning (9:30 a.m.).When we arrived, they immediately greeted us and asked us to pick out a color. I was feeling a little less boring than my usual Bubble Bath color, and they even gave me tips on what would look good with my skin color. The three of us were able to get manicures at the same time sitting right next to each other, and the place was gorgeous inside; it was also huge. There were at least 4 alcoves with 6 pedicure chairs in each one so you could have a semi-private group area if you wanted, and I think there were 4 or 5 rows of manicure tables with 4 chairs each. I also appreciated the "Sterilization Room" in the back. They carried OPI and Essie brands.I'm not sure if it was because it was early and not busy yet, but they let us bring in our own champagne, even though they have their own there, and they even took pictures of us before we left. My friends paid for my manicure, so I can't speak to the cost, but I know they have different levels and packages. First timer and couldn't be happier! My friend and I yelped a place near us for a mani/pedi and Anthony Vince came up. What a treat! The place is huge, clean, and they even have a large sterile room with a glass wall so you can see that they are serious about being concerned for the customers well being. They have an actual bar in the place and Tony makes a mean mimosa, Our glasses were never empty. Prices are reasonable. Helen and Amy were great and Helen was very knowledgeable and patient with us. The owner has other salons in other areas and has been in the biz for 31 years. They def know what they're doing. The bathrooms are top notch (two ladies rooms, lol) clean with high end finishes. I went to this salon for the first time last evening. It is extremely clean and beautiful inside. The staff was very friendly and listened to what I wanted. Mindy did a great job on my SNS and I haven't had that from many other salons. They also have a large selection of colors for SNS. This is one of the nicest spas I've ever seen. It is decorated beautifully with the water features, etc.  I just moved here from Chicago and this place is A+ and very reasonably priced. Mindy does a great job on my Manicures.  I get the dipping powder and it doesn't chip or come off for 3 weeks.  If my nails wouldn't grow out, I could keep it on even longer.  I won't go any place else in Charlotte! I Went here today for the shellac manicure and the spa pedicure. This place is excellent! The most beautiful nails salon I've ever been in to. This place is def the place to go! They have private coves where you and your group can have a little more privacy if wanted to. Love the set up.
