I have been going to this salon off and on for 2 years. Decided to get a mani/pedi before a trip and dropped in. When I walked in, I was told without greeting "pick a color". I go to get my color. Upon sitting down to wait for the next technician, two other young ladies walk in. They are greeted cheerfully by name (they ask me my name every single time and I do not have a common name), given a bit of small talk, asked to go pick their colors, and then asked if they would like a drink. I guess I must have looked well-hydrated. After they come sit down, I ask them if they have appointments. They do not. Then to add injury to insult, the next available technician has set up two stations for them and invite them over to get their pedicures. When I speak up that I was there first, the technician asks me if I mind if she takes them first. I told her that she can take them first, second, third, and to infinity because they will not be getting my money. And I left. I am black. The ladies who walked in were white. I use to go to this salon several years ago. There has been a huge change over in staff! It just so happened that my friend and I had our schedule match for a pedi it’s News Day so or normal place was closed! We came in and the staff was very sweet! We chose the fancy package with the callus treatment and wax (starts with a ‘p’ but I forgot the name). I pointed out that I really needed a few parts ‘ extra filed. She agreed. The pedicure was good until I had to ask her to file or trim my big toe callus again....the lady next to her was trying to tell her not to take too much off and do it after the wax (I get month pedis I know what it should feel like callus free!) Then while under the drier I noticed my heel was very rough and dry! I asked her if she could use the purple buffer a little more... she added lotion. The lotion made it look worse (white in the cracks). When it dried I asked her still use the purple buffer/file. They weren’t happy with me but eventually did after telling me how to take better care of my feet! I get monthly pedis and see a foot doctor regularly. Dropped in for a pedicure with my five year old. The ladies were friendly and offered a spa seat to my son where he eventually napped. Pedicure is a little pricey compared to what I'm used to paying (by $10) but avg to this area. Salon was clean and no pressure by technician to upgrade. Read Less

Kim is amazing! All the ladies are polite and genuinely nice people. Their kindness speaks volumes. You can feel it when you walk in! I drive 40 minutes to get there simply because its hard to find great customer service and when you find it, you need to hold on to it! Worth the drive... Worth the time.Read Less

I was just at the nail spa three days ago to get a fill-in and to get my daughters nails painted as well as mine ! I came back in today because after letting my nails dry for over 30 minutes they still had smudged and looked horrible, so silly me I thought I could go in and get my color changed without it being a huge expense since I was just in there three days ago and for both me and my daughter it was only $30 as well as all the smudges that happened within hours..... instead as I started to get my nails painted I asked her how much it would be to have the gel polish put on and nothing else and she proceeded to tell me $20..... I asked why when regular polish is only $8 you cannot honestly tell me it cost 12 more dollars for a color change because it is gel polish ???? And I am/ was a very local customer! Of course I paid, ( with no explanation ) because I'm not going to not pay it just saddens me that the situation was not taken care of in the right manner !! I was then followed out of the stop by the owners wife, telling the woman who did my nails not to apologize to me!? It was pure craziness, I just really hate that they lost a good customer when me and the owner (husband) is a really great person..... of course my opinion, but this didn't have to end up like this!! The ladies and gentleman that work here are fantastic. Always smiling, go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy! I have gone here about a year and have had pedicures, manicures and shellac. Lately they have done some complicated nail art that I brought photos of and did a great job. My last shellac was on 3 weeks without a single chip but my nails had grown out far so I had to go get it changed. The shoulder massage for manicures is such a nice bonus. It took me quite a while to find a good nail salon in the area since I've had bad experiences with most places in the Apex/Cary area. From what I've experienced in my past 5-6 times coming here, this place is always clean and the service is great. The second time I came here, about 2 months after the first time...David and Kim both remembered my name and were excited to see me! Been to dozens of nail salons in California, Colorado, and North Carolina, and can honestly say this place is great. I have really sensitive nails/skin, and these people take the best care of me and listen!! My fills last the longest compared to every other place I've been to, and they take their time when I go. I went to this nail salon over 5 years ago when I worked in the area. For the past 5 years I have left every nail salon frustrated at either the customer service, quality or price of the services I had just received. About 4 months again I decided to go back to Beverly's and I can say it's 100% the 20 minute drive. I have never had less than a superb experience. You are quickly and pleasantly greeted, I've never had to wait, the building and tools are very clean and I always love my nails. I've seen multiple people there and do not have one complaint. No language barrier, which often causes confusion at nails salons. You get a shoulder massage while your manicure dries and they do not disappoint. My feet were dry from swimming that I had done this past week.At one point during the appt, one area started to become cracked, and hurt, so I attempted to tell the person this, she sort of understood. I have never seen a person use the "cheese grater" to take off rough skin. It was sensitive at the time but as the evening wore on it was difficult to walk, and more cuts appeared. I phoned them today, no refunds are given and the manager said I could drive there today, I live in Raleigh, so she could see my feet, she said to fix them....I could talk about the language barrier as well but no need to. I went here on the recommendation of another yelper to get my gel manicure redone after Platinum Nails in Park West Village did a terrible job. It is in admittedly a very small space, but the staff is VERY friendly and did an EXCELLENT job on my nails! I will definitely be going back! Read Less

I went in for a mani/pedi and feel like I got ripped off. I got the $35 pedicure, which included the callous remover, and a gel manicure.  Unbeknownst to me, the nail technician decided to put some nail art on my 2 big toes.  I hate that stuff.  She never asked whether or not I wanted that.  The manicure was sloppy with a bunch of nail polish welled up in my nails and a number of visible mistakes.  To top it all off, I was charged $60 for all of it.  I'm never going back to this place again. I took my stepdaughter in to apply tips with a gel overlay.  I was not pleased with the results. She is shy to say anything negative, but she did admit she felt it was a sloppy job as well. The gel overlay was very thick,  there were jagged spots under the nail,  the paint job wasn't cleaned off the cuticle.  We let them know we weren't happy with the results,  and they did redo it with better attention to the details but they couldn't seem to make them have a natural feel. They still looked thick,  and gel nails are meant to be more natural looking. I give them credit for redoing them,  albeit with a bit of frustration and attitude from them. They did offer drinks and were friendly before we were unhappy. But honestly.. I don't care about drinks and massages and such. I want nails that look beautiful. Read Less

This review is written by a high maintenance girl, who has tried 8 other nail spas in the 10 mile radius and has been going to Beverly Nails since summer of 2012 and would NOT go anywhere else :)Why? Well.. They got great friendly staff (but not too friendly - you know the ones who talk your ears off?!), they understand what I say or ask for (unlike most other locations), do best pedicures, manicures, full-set, french, gel (you name it, and they do a great job), and.. if you're not satisfied with something while you're still there, they listen and make sure to fix it :)And their massage chairs work well for me.Last time, I was there when the state's inspector was there and I saw the attentive officer go through every small detail and give them A+ :) Yay for hygiene! My daughter had nail tips put on for the prom. She had them on less than a week. She went to get them off and they used a utensil to just rip them off. They didn't soak them like I have read they were suppose to do. My daughter was in tears and they still hurt a day later. Went down there and spoke to the manager and of course there are two ways to remove them, so THEY say. They charged $10 to rip them off. They did not give our money back. Read Less

After reading Jane Y's recommendation many months ago, I started using Beverly as my nail spa of choice.  I am actually typing as I sit in one of their 10 pedicure chairs with the best massage features in town!  The space is always clean, busy, and the staff is so friendly!A single TV is on, but not too loud.  The polish selection is one of the best.  They even have the newest OPI collection I just saw in a magazine.I wish I could come here weekly, and maybe I'll be a more frequent customer since the husband is getting his first pedicure!  I think he's sold!
