Ok...so I just wanted to go in and get a full set with gel polish. It was a Monday so it wasn't busy; however, the owner of the salon (she did my nails) got up to take care of other things in the middle of doing my nails 3 times. I was a bit anxious to get them done and to get going but she would tell me about her side business and persisted on trying to sell me lotions and teeth whitening kits. I don't mind talking about it while she's doing my nails but she would pull out her phone and show me videos about the product she's selling and show me pics on her phone. I guess it's just a little irritating to me when your nails were thick and wide, the nail tech keeps getting interrupted and keeps trying to sell you products you don't want or need. She is a sweet lady and I wish her the best of luck with her side business but that place is just not for me. Every time I visit this salon I get excited because someone other than Lilly starts my nails then, it never fails, I get shifted to her to polish my nails. Today, I vow to never go back. Found this place a while ago I think there are new owners now then when they first opened.  I have been here a hand full of times over the past 2 years since it's near my house.  If the owner does my nails it's great but I have been very disappointed any time someone else does them.  It's convienant and prices are comparable to other salons for the same service.  But every time I get a pedi I don't feel the tech new what she was doing. This was an amazing experience. Judy did my nails today. She made my time there, all about me. Even though they were busy ( and I had to wait a few minutes past my appointment, ) she made sure I had a bottle of water ( or cup of coffee) and offered me a snack. When it was my turn I the chair she was awesome. She helped my pick the perfect shade of polish for a special occasion and my nails ( acrylic overlay and polish ) are flawless. This was the best nail experience ever! He salon is a pleasure to visit with an atmosphere that caters to the guest. I had to wait a few minutes past my appointment time and Judy made sure I was comfortable while I waited. I don't mind waiting when I know it's so that they are providing fabulous service the person before me. Just went out of her way to make sure I was pleased with my nails, and even helped me select a color. This is the best polish I have had in years! She took her time and got it right. The owner and staff are very nice. The quality of the mani and pedi paint jobs were left to be desired. While there are many colors to choose from, they appear old and some of poor quality. I chose gel for my mani and while the rest of the mani was amazing, she stretched the paint out of that bottle that should have been pitched a long time ago. This left my nails streaked and uneven. The pedi up until the paint was great. I had so many layers of paint and polish that my toes took forever to dry and even then, upon putting on my sandal....the paint scraped from my big toe. I was there a total of 2.5 hours for a basic pedi and gel manicure of my nature nails. Needless to say, even with the wonderful staff... I won't be returning. Read Less

Worse nail salon I have ever been too. The ladies are very polite, but seem extremely disorganized. The main lady is not focused on customer happiness, but rather personal phone calls and selling additional products not related to nails.We were here last night for a manicure/pedicure. It took over an hour for them to complete a basic pedicure, then we had to leave for dinner plans. During that hour, the main lady took the time to tell us about her EO and teeth whitening products. She also spent much time running to attend to other people who arrived after us. We decided to come back today, giving her a second chance, to finish our manicures.Today, She left my daughter at the manicure table while she stepped outside to take a 20ish min personal phone call. My manicure was nearly over before she returned to attend to my daughter. When she began taking off the acrylic nails, two people walked in from LegalShield. She left my daughter, once again, and began talking to the people about business solutions at the chair next to my daughter. The lady doing my manicure left places where you could see the nail through the polish near the base. I asked her to fix it, but she couldn't. I removed it. I asked if either of the other two ladies working could finish taking my daughters nails off so we could leave, but the main lady was the only one. I interrupted her business solutions meeting and asked her to remove my daughters acrylics so we could leave without the paint.I informed her that she should have informed us prior to beginning if she was going to have other obligations that way we can have the choice to wait for services or come back at another time. She offered to paint her nails in 5min, and free of charge. I offered to pay if she could actually complete the nails in 5 min. We will never return to this salon again. Read Less

I live local and was looking for a nail salon close to home. I decided to give these guys a try. Never again! The women who did my pedicure hurt my toes so bad, and then it started to burn. I love this place! Went there for the first time and I've never felt so welcomed to a nail salon than this one before! Judy was amazing and very professional. Went for the 1st time on Sunday and I Will be going back! My nail tech was/is ESA and even tho she had to fix another shops mess up on my nails. . She did and awesome job! Due to my muscle and joint condition(that she didn't know about) my arm shakes quite a bit and I messed my nails up a couple times she did not get frustrated was very professional and just simply fixed it! :) the complimentary wine or water is just icing on the cake in this very professional relaxing environment will definitely be back! This place was absolutely horrible!!! Don't waste your time or money! They are over priced for what you get... they nickel and dime everything! They charged me $5 to take off my nail polish during my pedicure! I ended up spending $77 on a manicure and pedicure with gel polish! And they were horrible!!! No massage or anything!!!! My 1st time going to The Spot Nail Spa & won't be going back. The facility was not very clean & was unorganized.I arrived about 6pm and was told they close at 7pm & they had someone who could start my gel nails right then. As I waited I was given a small binder of flyers for things they sell: vitamins, juices, etc. I found that to be a little weird since I was there for my nails not to buy fat burners, vitamins, etc. Judy (eventually did my nails) continued to talk to a previous customer until about 640pm. Judy was very nice & did tackle my cuticles which needed some serious TLC but left alot to be desired for the actual gel. With only one VERY thin coat of gel Polish it looks more of a clear Polish with a touch of glitter than actual pink . I should have asked her to apply another thin coat or TWO (since they were so thin) but at that time I was just ready to get out of there. My friend accompanied me for a set of gel as well. The woman who did her nails did not say more than 5 words to her the entire time. I found that a little strange, but that is just my perception. This salon needs to have better time management, or at least be honest with the customer about the wait. I have been here twice now, and both times there were time-related issues:The first time the woman doing my pedicure asked if I minded if she left to make a phone call. I told her I understood (I'm a mom, I get that she might need to touch base with a family member) - but then she disappeared. 20 minutes later I asked the owner when her employee would be back and she said she didn't know. She had another woman take her place, who was quite rough and did not seem happy about being tagged in. My original person did not return for another 15 minutes beyond that - she was gone 35 minutes in all!Today, my second time, my friend arrived before I and signed us both in for manicures. She was told 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting 25 minutes and then they seated us both but only one woman sat down to start mine. She did a slapdash job on my french manicure, so that the tips were not neat and left nailpolish on my fingers beyond the nail. She did not offer a nail dryer when they were finished.My friend, who waited for me to have my nails done, was supposed to be after me. However, she requested acrylics and was told she would have to wait a little longer. At this point, we'd already been there nearly an hour.My manicure was sloppy, with the white tips not flush with the edge of the nail and she left polish on my finger tips. Ok I went back and forth about either giving this nail salon a 3 or 4. Pros: Nina was excellent.  I personally give her 5 stars. Great customer service skills.  She communicated well and took her time with my nails.  I was very pleased with her work ethic and professionalism. I also thought that Pam was very sweet and the other associates were polite and attentive.  Cons: The ambiance does not match the price this owner is asking for the service.  The chairs were uncomfortable  and the decorations were very out dated.  First salon I have been to where the chairs were hard.  I think the owner has taken a cheap approach and I think that is insulting a bit to the patron. 75 dollars to me is a bit much for gel nails and a pedi for the overall service. Suggestions: take some money from your pocket and update your salon. If it's a nail salon then remove the tanning sign from the window because I almost didn't even recognize it was. Remove the posters from the wall or frame them.  If you are going to have a tiki bar then serve a complimentary glass of wine so that the customer feels that they are not shocked by the high prices.  Lastly,  if you are competing with the shop across the street then I would advertise a few promos and lower the prices a bit. Most people will end up leaving both of these subpar nail salon experiences and drive into fayetteville or Sanford.  Harsh reality. Quant shop, friendly owner and technicians.I went here on a Tuesday morning. They do not open until 10am. I went for a mani and pedi and was immediately seated for a pedi and the technician began. There was only one other customer and three nail technician I wish they would have ask which pedi I preferred, since they have many options and I wasn't sure which included foot exfoliation and leg massage. This place just isn't memorable. The pedi was not especially great. I didn't feel that it was a smooth process. I should have saved my money on the mani. It was done while I was in the pedi chair and she put the bowl of COLD water to soak my cuticles in right on my lap. Probably won't go here again, despite their convenient location to where I live.
