Just left the salon and I am highly disappointed. I showed the nail technician a Pinterest photo of what I was interested in and my nails turned out nothing like the photo. They were cut too short compared to the length that they should be for a stiletto nail, some are crooked on the sides, and the two fingers with glitter look so heavy bc of all the coats that were put on. And it looks nothing like what I showed her. I didn't even notice how thick it was until it was too late. I moved to the area about 6 months ago but was working in Durham so I would get my nails down there. Since I now work in this area I thought I would try a local salon but no way in hell will I ever come back here. I will make the 40 minute drive to Durham even if it means that I pay more. Very nice looking place. I had an issue with them not listening to my instruction about not wanting a manicure so I was charged more than I budgeted for and they were very into thier own conversations and didn't have me down for a pedicure when I had asked for one. I went there because my normal nail place was closed and I probably wouldn't go back unless my nail place was closed. Came in without an appointment and was seen asap but my guest had to wait 20min and she is a regular, the guy who did my nails was so sweet and took his time. I loved how my nails loooked however after a week one nail came off and now they look like need a new full set after just having them done. Was my first and last time going. Read Less

It's not my regular place, but they try their best to work you in and they do a quick job. My feet feel great and she gave me a nice massage with it. The polish is a little uneven on a couple of toes, but to be fair I have teeny tiny little toenails. Plus the polish is dark blue so any mistake would show more than with lighter polish. not good horrible gel was bubbly and coming off before I got home. all my nails were shaped differently some wide round, or more pointed look like i did them my self not worth 31 dollar fill in tney charge.one tech told me one price when I arrived then charged more when checked out my. my mom was waiting we were over looked alone with another person of color and were taken before her we were greeted or anything like the white people who came in after us only got done there cause my usual place was closed and I had been too 3 other place whom were full. my mom decided to take het money somewhere else wish i would have. I have been taking my daughter here for several months. Three times she had wonderful service. Her nails were great, the technicians were professional and did well. Then we went today, they were busy which is normal, however the tech she got today didn't talk to us at all. She stopped 3 times to make sure a customer she had finished paid. When she finished the charge was $5 more than any of the other times. The explanation I got was because her nails were long. There is nothing in their literature about the extra charge and we would have cut down the nails if she had only asked. When we left my daughter was upset-instead of the normal nice nails her nails were bumpy, not even, and not professional looking at all. We will be looking for a new nail salon. I've been here several times and the service is always pretty good. I decided to come in while on vacation and the spa wasn't busy, so I was pleased. The nail tech polished my toes, which looked great! I got SNS on my nails next and they look pretty bad. She had to redo two nails and they still look bad. I'm not happy with my nails at all. No bueno! I tried this location out despite not having the best experience at the Serenity Nails in Greensboro. I take that back. I had a decent experience but my nails looked like trash a few days later after leaving both locations. My pedicure and full set took forever. Both nail techs were friendly and my pedicure was ok but the guy who did my nails tore my cuticles up with the drill and now the nails are lifting. Went in to have acrylics removed. Decided to have sns applied to natural nails.,requested a manicure also which never happened. This seemed logical after having acrylics removed. Nail shapes are all different and the sns is lumpy. I noticed this when i got home. The gentleman that did my nails was pleasant. No one else would speak even when I said hello. I came at 6:20 and asked for a full set on a Thursday. Instead of saying they did not have the time to give me proper service, I received a cut finger with a minimal apology. Went with a friend for a girls day out pedicure. All the nail technicians were very friendly & helpful. We were given a menu of pedicure packages to choose from, and they didn't try to push upgrades. Only good thing: They are very friendly. I got a full set. Wendy asked if I wanted them short or long, I said not extremely long but longer than the tips of my fingers.... They are the same length as my finger tips. I had also picked out a light pink color for them to be painted however it was a gel polish, so she said she would go get the regular version of the color. She started painting them and they are a tan nude color. No pink whatsoever. Onto my pedicure.... The water was cold. I got the deluxe pedicure. Don't ever pay extra for that bc it's definitely not worth it. I'm not happy with my experience at all. It was my first visit here and it will most likely be my last. Read Less

I have tried this nail salon several times (8+) and have yet to have a great experience!  The employees are not the nicest I've met, generally one of them is on a personal phone call, and the wait can sometimes be long.  I tried this place due to the high reviews, but please do not make the same mistake.   I've had several technicians, and they almost all tend to get polish on my cuticles leaving my nails to look messy and not last!  Every time I've been my gel manicure doesn't last more than a week, and twice I've had it peel off the same day and had to have them redo it. Their colors are fun, but for the service, and price ($30 for gel mani) please try somewhere else in Burlington!  Don't waste your money to be disappointed! Read Less

I was in town for the weekend and decided to treat myself. I got a full set of pink & white but I do not know the name of the lady who did it however she did a great job! She listened to what I wanted (I can be a little picky!) and she even showed me the 3 different shades of pink to choose from-- I've never been given the option anywhere else. I'm only giving 4 stars due to the fact that when she was filing one of my nails with the drill she cut my finger a little (this has happened several times before at other places so maybe it's me?) I recently went to this salon to get a manicure. The receptionist was sitting in the back chatting away with her friend, and had me announce to the salon what service I wanted (this continued with several other customers as well). The other staff was polite. And the prices are fair.However, this gets 1 stars because it was not clean at all, sanitation is a major concern of mine, I had to ask my tech to open a new set of tools from the sanitation bag, and also everything was covered in nail dust. I try to take my mom for a mani pedi whenever I come into town. Each time we try a different nail salon and until today nothing had really impressed me. However, this place was amazing! Great service, incredibly attentive and very relaxing. They offer a few options at different price points. We went for the deluxe and it was totally worth it. Different scrubs, lotions, hot towels, hot stones...definitely a great way to be pampered. The shoulder massage was a nice touch too. This place is just what I was looking for in a nail salon. The staff is friendly, the prices are competitive, and they offer a wide variety of complimentary beverages and snacks, including wine and cheese and crackers. The service was not rushed, and my service providers spoke to me throughout the service making sure everything was fine, which it was. The only reason I am not giving it a 5th star is because they soaked my (finger) nails in cold water, and i like it nice and hot."V" did my pedi, and the owner did my mani and brow wax.Great chairs, nice music, good specials.I will be back!!
