I’ve been going to Ten Ten since I was in high school, but my experience yesterday made me want to leave a 5-Star review. The techs were so friendly and did such an awesome job. I was here almost a week ago for a pedicure, and it was a relaxing experience. Between the massage chairs, a glass of wine, and just being to unwind was worth the price. Their pedicures last a long time too. I will be going back. Read Less

I have been here twice for gel manicure. I had to return a week and a half after the first visit because my nails were already a mess (with only normal wear& tear). Both times, by 2 different techs, my finger was cut by the drill file. On each occasion blood was drawn and they did not even offer a discount!! Not to mention that they charged me an extra $15 to add tips made necessary by the poor first manicure. Also, I asked for an American Manicure and got French. I must say that this tech did a better job. My nails looked great and lasted a little over 3 weeks(which I expect). I may give them another chance but for now, I'm going somewhere else. Read Less

Extremely poor. I went in for a gel manicure, was there for almost an hour and a half, and only had the polish removed and nails cut and somewhat buffed. The manicurist cut my nails square, when I had told her rounded and cut them too short. Her fingernails looked dirty and were long and very sharp. As she filed my nails, a number of times, her sharp nail was cutting into the side of my finger. And she cut my skin with her nail clippers. I excused myself and left midstream. I visited here after having my nails and feet done at Urban Chic Nailbar. I really liked them but a little pricey and chairs aren't comfortable for getting nails done. Anyway, 10 10 Nails was great, I really enjoyed my experience there and also the guy that did my nails. The husband and wife own it and they have one other lady that works with them. Gave a 4 only because they took a little while and went back and forth between customers because it's only 3 people there. I recommend them! Read Less

A cautionary tale: I have been going to 10 10 Nails for the past year. It had always been a great place to spend some time getting your nails done, simple waxing, etc... However, under new management this is not the case. Since new management came in, there has been a turn-over in personnel and the remaining/new ladies are rude, nasty and unorganized. I have since moved to another nail salon in Apex and am very happy. I would think long and hard before going to 10 10 nails. Read Less

Love, love, love this shop...after searching for and going to several salons in the Apex area I have finally found a great salon...Tiger rocks! After having 5 nails chipped from another nail salon in the area I decided to try some place new and ran across Ten Ten nails online reading their reviews. I am the skeptical type person when it comes to reviews so I decided to give it a try anyways to see if reviews hold up to what are posted. So I made an appointment. The moment I walked in I fell in love with the place. I do not even know where to start with what all I enjoyed about this place. First thing is the quiet, tranquil atmosphere. Modern music playing. It is so relaxing. I had the gels and the guy did a fantastic job. I have been getting my nails done for over 5 years and this is the first time I could not do anything but smile after he had finished. They are perfect!! I then I got the pedicure. Oh my goodness gracious I now know what priority treatment is like....it was so relaxing and I noticed how much care she took while doing the pedicure and when painting the nails. This is the best nail place in the Apex area. You will not regret getting your services here. And believe me you will never go anywhere else! Love Ten-Ten Nails. Great services for manicures, pedicures, and waxing. Thien is wonderful. Talented and a perfectionist, her work is great - - especially if you would like special hand painted art for your nails. Thien also does tremendous eyebrow waxing with gentle care. I took my daughter here for her 12th birthday. Although it is nothing fancy, they treated her like a queen. Staff was absolutely great. And their prices are reasonable. There was also a dog that is a ""regular"" there. She is the sweetest. Will be back! Read Less

I just googled Ten Ten Nails to get their coupon that they have on their website and came across this site. I totally don't agree with the first post. However everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I am going to relate mine. They have always been curtious and have always done a wonderful job on my nails. I have natural nails and usually get a french. The french polish in my past experience at other salons have usually started to chip in just a few days. After I've gotten them done here they have stayed for 2 WEEKS!! No lie! Not sure what the other lady was doing after she got her nails done, but i've got 2 kids so i'm constanly cleaning and they look great. Only bad thing I can say is that when I went to remove the polish that was left (weeks later) it was quite hard to remove with my home nail polish remover. So what ever they are using really sticks to your nails! I guess thats not really a bad thing. Read Less

I went in to have a set of gel nails removed that had been put on by another salon that will remain nameless. Usually when they remove the gel nails it can be quite painful, it didn't hurt at all instead of peeling the nails off, they ground them off, which was fast, efficient and completely painless. I was so happy. I also had a manicure, and I love their waterless manicure, instead of water they use these special bags and small heating pads for the hands it felt wonderful. When I left my nails looked beautiful. The shop is very clean and has a relaxing atmosphere, the staff is very personable, and speak English very well. The prices are competitive. We recently moved to the area and could not find a decent salon anywhere. We tried two others before coming to 10 10 Nails. The salon has a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. They were very polite and accomodating to our needs even tho we didn't have appointments and just walked in. loved going to this salon. I usually just go to any salon depending on where i'm at and more then i'd like to admit I leave very unhappy. Most nail salons are all the same. It seem's like even the same people are working at all these different salons I go to. It was a far better experience here. Great atmosphere and friendly staff that know what they're doing and speak ENGLISH very well. I got exactly what I asksed for with out any confussion! I will go here and only here from now on. I personally love going to 10-10 nails. They have been the best at doing my nails as well as waxing. I have been going to 10-10 since it opened about 4 or 5 years ago. The owner is very nice and unlike many other salons, all of the people that work there speak very good English. They have a TV in the pedicure room is very nice as well. I have been living in the area for a year now, previously lived in california. I haven't had much luck with any particular nail salon yet. I tried this one, as it is close to my work. I thought it looked pretty nice when I was escorted back to the pedicure station. They had a movie playing on the flat panel wide screen tv. The person that started to work on my toes, looked to be in her sixties, but I was optimistic.. but quickly realized I was right to be skeptical. Some of my toenails were rough, despite the filing. The polish wasn't even, and it certainly didn't last more than 3 days before chipping. After she was done, I was taken to a manicure station, and ""Justine"" started on my nails. Neither person had said more than a few words to me (to find out what I wanted done), but that just left me time to wonder if the person working on my nails was male or female, not that it mattered. He also didn't trim my nails very well, and left me with the older woman once again for the polish. I had asked for an 'american manicure', which i guess translates to harsh white on my tips, followed by a clear coat. I was left alone at the drying station, and nobody said a word to me, so I got up and left on my own. It was a horrible job, and I definitely won't be returning.
