The atmosphere is wonderful, and the salon is very clean. I've had mixed experiences with the techs. Henry was a delight, and does a wonderful job with pedicures, but his dip technique always leaves me with air bubbles in the nail. But he is so sweet and I enjoy working with him. Helen did a great job with a manicure, but she did cut me accidentally under my finger nail. My last visit was with Sunny, and she did a wonderful job. She took her time and I was very pleased. I brought my friend with me, and she had Michael for her first visit. He ended up really cutting her cuticle and she was bleeding for most of her manicure. She had 3 cuts on her fingers, and was very upset. It felt like he was rushing. I will continue to frequent this location, but will be probably only be seeing Sunny from now on. Read Less

I was VERY excited to make my first appointment at Paris Nail Bar because the reviews were so good. Sadly, my experience was NOT the same as everyone elses apparently and I would NOT return. I was leaving for a MUCH NEEDED girls trip in a few days and by the time I actually went 2 days afterwards it looked like I had had my manicure for WEEKS!! AND...... with tip it cost me $133.00 for a mani/pedi!!. (Extra for gel AND extra for French on fingers). (Btw, these were my own nails NOT acrylic or anything) I was also in a hurry that day (had to pack) and I didn't realize until the following day that my manicurist didn't clean up the skin around my nails, didn't trim my cuticles, didn't give me a hand massage..... NOTHING!! For $133.00. By the time I got back from my girls trip 2 weeks later I had peeled what was left of them off. I love this salon. It is very clean and luxurious. It's well ventilated with pleanty of natural sunlight. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I never feel rushed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I love that I can sit at the "bar" and chat with anyone there, whether it's staff or fellow custers. Overall, it's just a lovely experience and I recommend it to anyone who is likes to be pampered. On Saturday, a bachelorette party that I was with came to the Paris Nail Bar to get our nails done. I asked for a gel polish only and was questioned MULTIPLE times about a manicure after repeatedly saying no. A lady named ‘Stacy’ did my nails and did them in under ten minutes and they turned out like complete crap. It doesn’t even look like she put gel polish on my nails and they are clumpy. I am getting married Saturday and I took my bridal party into Paris Nail Bar today. I did not know that the beverages were not included in the package until we got there and I even sent an email to get details before hand. On the positive side my nails look very nice, but I don't think the lady understood how short I really wanted them. I kept telling her shorter. I felt like for what we paid for it was not worth it for the pedicures. They did not massage our legs very long. Also my mom still has massive calluses on her feet! They did not smooth them out. On top of all of that, I paid $152 for my full set and pedicure with gel. I have never in my life paid that much for nails! Paris Nail Bar is on the pricier end of their competitors, but there are a few things this place has going for them that smaller, possibly more affordable salons don't have. 1.  Their color selection is huge, and don't for a second think you're going to find chunky dried up or watered down colors here.  They keep all their colors fresh and color coded which I love.  2.  They label which colors they have a corresponding gel to, so you're not stuck there asking them if they have a gel that matches or searching through a bunch of color wheels looking for a close fit. 3.  The Zen vibe here draws people away from the chaos of their lives, and even at its busiest times, you feel like you're on a retreat. 4.  Pedicure Chairs are huge and overstuffed and so comfortable (see #3)5. FULLY STOCKED WINE BAR!!!! forget boxed wine, this place has a full wine menu to make sure they have something that fits to your liking. 6.  An overwhelming but extensive menu for manicures and pedicures.  It can be a bit much, but again, they have all these options to make sure your needs are met- honestly, who can argue with that. 7. HGTV on the big screen! - ok ok it's obviously not the main reason I go here, but it is nice to have a perfect view of the massive tv while getting your nails done you don't have to strain your neck or squint to read the close captioning on a small tv strung up on the wall.  8.  Finally, you can book online which is so nice and useful! One point of going to a nail salon for a pedicure is to be pampered and get relaxed. ..so why does this place have the worlds most uncomfortable chairs??  They dont recline and you have to go up two steps to get in them.  If you use a walker, wheelchair, or have bad knees...dont even try. They are white leather and is a prime example of style overtaking function. The pedicure was average and the colir choices were limited.  They were BUSY which meant they were rushed.  The appear to have a wine bar but not a single person was drinking...With a nail salon on every corner....there are better experiences to be had. My husband and I visited Paris Nail Bar over the weekend for pedicures. We booked our appointment online and were seated quickly, only for me to realize that the chair I was sitting in was broken (it did not massage, only reclined and moved forward and backwards). Every other chair in the place was full, so my only option was to wait for one to become available, which we didn't want to do because of time constraints (Hence the appointment making). After ordering a glass of wi...ne, I had to ask for my jets to be turned on in the foot spa...it took several technicians to replace the parts and get it working. The pedicure itself was good - the technician was attentive to cuticles, calluses, and painting my toes. Upon checkout, the staff did not offer any sort of discount due to me sitting in a chair that was not functioning. After some arguing, and "Calling the manager for approval", we were able to get the one glass of wine complimentary. Biggest lesson learned: Whenever you visit this place, be sure they put you in a chair that works and in a foot spa with functioning jets. I have been going to Paris Nail Bar for several months for manicures.  Van is fantastic and always provides flawless service.  My gel nails don't chip or peel.  I always make an appointment so I don't have to wait.  The salon is very clean and bright and cocktails are available at an additional charge. I really wanted to like this place and make it my regular spot. The first pedicure I got a couple of months ago was great and lasted very long. This time I took a friend there too. Upon booking an appointment I was told that the technician from my first visit doesn't work there anymore, oh well, that happens. Long story short, our pedicure was ok but not worth the money. While the technicians were friendly, everything seemed rushed. We were out in not even 30 mins and the callus treatment was done poorly. The girl checking us out (not one of the technicians) wasn't on the friendly side and there seemed to be some tensions going on between the staff which was made visible and made everyone feel awkward. Great spa environment. I'm here every two weeks like clockwork, I spend a little more than I would at the run of the mill nail bars, but I feel Paris is just better quality. Will not be back. It says walk ins welcome, so I decided to try it while shopping nearby. No one was at reception so I waited a few minutes. Then I went into the nail area where there were a number of nail techs & customers. Though they could clearly see me, no one acknowledged me or even said hello. Paris Nail Bar was a great first experience for me for a few reasons. First of all they are extremely nice to their customers and provided us with soda and wine. The Pros: The salon itself is beautiful. It has a very posh feel. They also have a wine bar so you can choose from a lot of different types of wine to purchase. The staff was nice. You can book an appointment online so that makes things easier.The Cons: I get gel nails done every 3-5 weeks on my hands and then once every couple months on my toes. I tried this place twice since I hoped the first time was a fluke bad performance. BOTH times, my gel nails peeled within 8 days of application. They do offer a 7 day warranty on your manicure but unfortunately I was just past that warranty time. When I go to Tre Nail Spa, the same manicure usually lasts three WEEKS before even the slightest chip. I always use OPI nail polish so I know it's not the polish. The second time I came here, my appointment for mani/pedi with gel polish was booked for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It took THREE HOURS! Luckily I had a glass of wine so I wasn't freaking out over it taking so long. I finally told them at 2.5 hours that I needed to get going so they sent a different technician over to get my nails done faster. When I go to check out, the owner rings me up. He's aware of the situation and that the kid doing  my pedicure took so long that I was there for three hours. He doesn't offer me a discount, or apologize, or even offer to waive the cost of my glass of wine. Just tells me "if you let us know you need to get out fast, we will make sure to get you out on time. There is a seven day warranty on your nails." Well, I figured they would get me out by the allotted time.... so I didn't know I needed to say "hey, I have a life and other things to do, so I can't be here for three hours tonight." I really hate it, but I will not be giving this place another shot and will tell my friends not to go there either. It sucks because I like the online appt scheduling and it's really close to my house. The only other complaint I had is that the pedicure chairs were pretty uncomfortable since they didn't recline. Don't waste your money! This place is overpriced and the service is lacking to say the least. I was treated rudely from the moment I walked in. I was never asked if I would like a drink (at least water would have been nice). The water in the pedicure tub was cold so I asked for it to be warmed, she cut my foot with the callus remover, the foot/leg massage was nonexistent (and I opted to pay extra specifically for that reason), the chairs are very uncomfortable and the massage function was hard to use and the pedicure was supposed to last 45 minutes but I was out the door in 30! I can only guess that this place is packed and getting good reviews because it's trendy and the interior is really beautiful, they have a big screen tv and offer wine and beer.  I will not be back, there are much better nail salons with better service and pedicures in the area! The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. I liked that they had a bar with just about everything in it. So that was defiantly a plus. There was also a lot of colors to choose from! My only complaint is with how my nail technician did my pedicure. The environment was wonderful, the people who woke here are super friendly and they did a great job on my nails. The only complaint I have is that one of my cuticles was cut a little short and it was and it a bit painful. I've been twice, once in mid-May 2017 and again a few weeks later. Regular pedicure and gel manicure. Have to say, love this place. The decor is over-the-top in a cool way (love the fur drapes in the chairs) but it is super-modern. A girl beside me got an amazing rainbow-motif manicure that looked amazing. I am boring, no designs or anything, but they did a quality mani/pedi each time, asked if you wanted extra coats of polish, asked if you wanted a massage, etc. which is nice. This place seems to be going down hill. I've been several times to this location and recently tried the other one too. Initially there was a very intentional welcome upon arrival, greeted you by name once you checked in, offered you water while you looked at nail colors and then once seated a very formal menu presentation asking if you would like a drink, asked about the service you wanted, etc. I felt appreciated and pampered and this nail salon was set apart as different and more interested in true customer service. The last two times I've been it is like every other nail salon I've been too. No menu, no special customer service feeling, just "pick a color", have a seat, no menu, no customer recognition/appreciation. They still do a nice job in mani and pedis but for the price I can go elsewhere and get the same services for less. Read Less

I just moved to Raleigh from southern New Mexico. Paris Nails was recommended to me. I had my appointment yesterday for a pedicure, acrylic nail removal and gel manicure. Oh my gosh! I can't even begin to put into words how amazing this salon is!! Clean, sanitary, friendly, and just beautiful! I was so sad to leave my tech in NM because he sanitation practices were like nothing I've ever seen before but Paris Nails is very similar! Michelle did my pedi and she was amazing! Gr...eat conversation, amazing massage chairs that recliner completely, and a huge selection of polish!! Leah did my nails and she did an amazing job taking her time to remove the old acrylics and ensuring my natural nails were not damaged in the process. The actual pedicure was very nice and my polish looks great, and the people were very nice!  But the chair was extremely uncomfortable and the "massage" part of the chair was just kind of vibrating which makes me nauseous.  My back hurts a lot after sitting there for over an hour.  I didn't get any drinks and it's nice to have the option, but if you love the fancy massage chairs, I would try somewhere else.The manicure chairs looked like they could be more comfortable though... This is my favorite salon! They have the largest polish selection that I've ever seen and the nail techs are so wonderful!! I would recommend making an appointment if you can, but they definitely take walk-in clients as well.
