I went to this salon to get an eyebrow wax and came out red, sore and swollen. After having my head yanked into place, very hot wax applied to my eyebrow area and strips applied and yanked off, I told the technician that she was being too rough. She then replied, "No pain, no gain". Ok, I let that one slide. However, after my head was roughly put into place again and the process of plucking started I could not take anymore. When she started on my other eyebrow, I told her to stop and that she was being too rough. At that point, I was done. The technician had another client and more than likely was rushing. I told her, as I was leaving the room (one eyebrow done and the other one not completed), that she was too rough and was rushing to get to her other client. She proceed to follow me out of the room yelling about her years of experience..blah, blah, blah. Mind you, there were other people in the salon and she is yelling at me. What great customer service! She went on to say that no one had ever told her that she was rough before. I told her that maybe they were afraid to say anything, considering being treated the way I was treated. She swiped my credit card and thew it on the desk then told me to sign the paper and leave it at the desk. No apology! By the time I got home, which was only 10 minutes away, both of my eyelids were swollen and very red. I understand that some of these people only make minimum wage plus tips..but goodness gracious.
