This is the nail-shop of my choice when I lived in Bham. A 30 min drive from where I was. In town and of course they are first choice. my Appt was at 1030 that I made earlier in the week. No I was not late. I’m getting my pedi and had to ask 4 times for someone to wrap my nails. Probably the WORST nail place in North Carolina. I waited two hours to get my nails done. When I got in the chair the lady couldn't even shape my nails the way I wanted it and made me wait longer while she did someone else's nails. I got regular color (I normally get gel) but their pricing for gel was ridiculous. They kept messing up my polish leaving it streaky and messed up. So I paid and left leaving two nails messed up. Paid for a Deluxe pedicure and didn't even get most of the things listed on the sheet, when I asked if I could get my nails trimmed I was told they would look ugly! Mind my pedicure was done by the owners. She was very nice but clearly not professional, her excuse was all her kids wanted a vacation which is understandable but you can't leave a business under staffed. I've been going there since last fall. The customer service is awful. I have had appointments where I had to wait over an hour. The last time I went in at 10:45 and I asked about how long the wait would be and was told 5 to 7 minutes by Tommy. Then three women came in after me and were taken for service. So I asked how come I wasn't taken care of since I was there before them and was told they had appointments.I left 30 minutes later. My experience was terrible. I get manicures and pedicures frequently at other nail salons and I will never return to this one. The manicure was rushed and the staff jumped from one person to another making people wait in mid manicure/pedicure. I've been a couple of times so far and the girl did a great job both times. The second time I brought my 2 year old daughter and they were very good with her also, one of the guys even played peek a boo with her when she started getting antsy. Woman of color need to stay away if a causin women walks through the door. I had enjoyed going to this nail salon until today. I had a friend and his daughter with me this afternoon for a day of pampering. We we arrived there was only one costumer in front of us. The owner of the shop greeted me and my companions. I say maybe five minutes later another lady came in to get her nails done. They took her first!!!! She even saw that she was going before me and my fiancé and hi...s little girl. She the customers asked if she was cutting in before us. Very kind woman!!! And she was cacasin. My fiancé and his daughter are also cacasin. Everyone served before me were cacasin. I couldn't believe there mentality!!!! I hadn't gotten any service, I needed a fill in, but I kept being put on hold!! Needless to say my fiancé got upset because of the poor treatment towards me, he was like baby you were before all of these other 6 women that was put before me. I had to try and calmn him down . It wasn't working so I left the store so he could vent. He told the initially customer that asked if she was cutting in front of us "Thank you for asking if my fiancé was there first", she said no problem and she apologized!!! I had been to this salon on a regular two week bases, but today they have lost my business forever!!!! This was very tacky and extremely rude!!!! I ask all woman of any color that believes all people should be treated equally not to give them any business!!! There are two stores one in Apex at beaver creek and one in Cary!!! I stayed calm but the situation has put a terrible taste in my spirit. My money is justas green as anyone else's!!!! This place is clean and offers a quality, friendly service. The only downside is that they try to accommodate everyone that walks in which might leave you waiting, even during your service. If you are in a rush, this place might not be for you. But I'll definitely be back. Read Less

Got nails done last Monday night, paid $85 (with tip included) for mani/pedi gel that is supposed to last a while (usually 2 weeks they say). The nails started peeling and chipping within 3 to 4 days. Today would make day 7 and the polish peeled off from 4 of my nails and 3 are chipped . I am very upset! Will never go here again! This I must say is the worst pedicure I have ever had! The lady was rubbing so soft it tickled. The chairs are ragedy.English awful! We waited 30-45 mins just to get a pedi. All of their tools are dirty and definitely have been used before. My chair for my pedicure was broken so I couldn't put the chair back and use the massager so I was uncomfortable. Once I was done, the lady left me in the chair until my bf's mom was done. No one helped me with my sandals so I ended ruining one of my nails. Once I got in the manicure chair, the woman I had was completely rude. Didn't talk to me at all, she used the tools too rough to where she was burning my nails. The tools were once again dirty. I got to the point where I thought about having her stop and I would finish my nails at another salon because she was hurting me that bad. But I didn't cause I didn't want to be rude. Rude lady did 1/2 of a pedicure, if that. She got up and walked away, left me sitting in the chair and didn't instruct me to put my feet under the dryer. My usual nail salon was closed and I was desperate!  Found this place and wished I hadn't!  To do Shellac nails took close to 2 hours!  Than when I talked to the tech (I had 2 different ones working on me) and told her I didn't like how thick the French manicure was she told me that's how they should look!  I'm not one to argue, so I left with nails I don't like and won't ever be back!  I hope they last because paying $35 should get u something in this day and age Read Less

If I could give them no stars I would! I went in last week to get gel nails and the first tech did not know how to apply the gel. The owner admitted to it when she came over to fix it. Something that should have taken no more than 30 minutes took over 1.5 hours! This was with no wait which should have been my first clue. I went back to get the gel fixed because it started peeling off within two days! Because I had taken more than half off (did not to attend a meeting with half peeled nails) the owner argued with me. She argued about how I should have not done this even though I explained to her that I had an important meeting and could not go in with my nails looking they way they did. She continued to argue and tried to have the same tech from the first time to do my nails again. There is a reason why this place is always empty even on the weekends. Plus they use tools that they are not suppose (tools they pull out from the back if you catch my drift). On my first visit the tech used manicure tools on herself and then went to use those on me. I asked her to get new tools. Can't image how many times a day they do this with other customers. They do an awful job then argue with their customers! Probably one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had. I only went here because I was given a gift certificate. The woman who did my nails was extremely rude. Half the time she wasn't even looking at what she was doing. She was SO rough with my nails it was almost excruciating.  Let me just say that I have a very high pain tolerance and usually don't mind aggressive filing. However, at one point she was filing so hard she cut into the side of my finger with the file (not cuticle, finger!). It was bleeding all over the towel and nail files. She started "scolding" me for not telling her it hurt, when several times I had let out an "ouch!" in hopes she would be more gentle. In response she would just laugh and tell me I was "very cute" which to me was completely inappropriate and rude.  I was almost speechless after this experience. I just tried to wait out the pain so I could leave. My nails hurt after that for about 2 days. However, they do look very nice, but I would never want to go though that again for gel nails! DO NOT GET GIFT CERTIFICATES AT THIS SALON!!! My sister gave me a gift certificate for my birthday for $47.00. I was moving at the time and could not find the certificate. When I completed my move and unpacking, I found the gift certificate. Their gift certificates are only good for 6 months rather that the usual year. IT WAS 2 DAYS after the expiration date when I found it and took it up to the salon. The flatly refused to honor the gift certificate!!! I pointed out it was only 2 days past due and that most salons certificates were for a year. They didn't care and they made $47.00 without having to do a single service. I've been going to Beverly for almost a year now and have been very happy with the services I've received there.  I first saw Ben when he kindly took off my LCN nails I'd had for the past few years.  He was very gentle and very patient and he did a beautiful gel polish on my nails afterward that made me wonder why I'd been having fake all these years.  Since that first visit, I've been seeing Brian (Ben was busy the day I came back in and they put me with Brian) and he's been FANTASTIC!  I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years (went to the same tech in CA for 13 of them) and since moving to NC, I think this is the happiest I've been with my nails since I left CA.  I've never had one complaint and I've always found them to be quite pleasant and professional.  My husband has even had a few pedicures and he's been thrilled with their work. I have been here at least 5 times before but this time I was really displeased. I thought it would be nice to take my 3yr old daughter there to get her toenails painted. I said "2 pedicures" and I guess I should have just asked them to paint her toenails because they charged me $20 for what they did to her little baby 3 yr old feet, only $5 less than the pedicure that I got. And the guy took over and hour to do a basic pedicure on my feet. When I was told the total price of $45 for my pedicure and what they did to her little feet I was shocked. I came in for a pink & white fill after my hair appointment across the street.  I typically go to Avalon at South Point, but decided to try Beverly Nail Spa because it was close.  HUGE MISTAKE!  This was the worst fill that I have had in years.  50% of my nail is white and 50% of it is pink.  The gel on the top is sloppy and my fingers have cuts from where the woman got way too close to my cuticle.  I really wish I would have just asked her to stop and take my nails off entirely because I would have been much happier with the result.  To top it all off I felt like they were rushing and the second woman who did the majority of the work was extremely rude.  The first nail tech spent about 30 minutes filling down the old acrylic on three of my fingers, she obviously didn't have a clue about what she was doing.  Go to Avalon at South Point, you'll be much happier.  I'll never go back to Beverly. I've been getting pedicures at Beverly Nail Spa in Apex for several months. The pedicures are consistently excellent no matter who does them. The store is very clean, and staff are always courteous. I am surprise!!! this is the only place that know how to wax my eyebrows. I have other friends that go there for the same wax procedure and I never heard this. I am wondering if it was that she was rushing, since you said that she had another client waiting. I do agree with you that services should be provided without rushing because there is another client waiting. You are paying for a good service. Maybe you are sensitive to the wax because I know that people that are sensitive can experience different reactions. Wax hurts and that is the truth!!!!!! Sorry for your bad experience there but we are a group of 20 friends and we do our waxing and nails there and all the ladies and men that work there had always treated us nicely and done a good job with our pedicures, manicures, eyebrow waxing, facials and other kind of waxing. I went to this salon to get an eyebrow wax and came out red, sore and swollen. After having my head yanked into place, very hot wax applied to my eyebrow area and strips applied and yanked off, I told the technician that she was being too rough. She then replied, "No pain, no gain". Ok, I let that one slide. However, after my head was roughly put into place again and the process of plucking started I could not take anymore. When she started on my other eyebrow, I told her to stop and that she was being too rough. At that point, I was done. The technician had another client and more than likely was rushing. I told her, as I was leaving the room (one eyebrow done and the other one not completed), that she was too rough and was rushing to get to her other client. She proceed to follow me out of the room yelling about her years of experience..blah, blah, blah. Mind you, there were other people in the salon and she is yelling at me. What great customer service! She went on to say that no one had ever told her that she was rough before. I told her that maybe they were afraid to say anything, considering being treated the way I was treated. She swiped my credit card and thew it on the desk then told me to sign the paper and leave it at the desk. No apology! By the time I got home, which was only 10 minutes away, both of my eyelids were swollen and very red. I understand that some of these people only make minimum wage plus tips..but goodness gracious.
