I went for a pedicure and they cut my toes so bad they were bleeding when they went to buff them with the nail file on top. They proceeded to put tons of alcohol that made them burn and rub lotion on them etc etc that just kept making it worse. No one ever offered a discount or apologied. This place is beyond awful. Trained, highly professional, outstanding time management, willing to work in all guests, no matter what you request Ryan will execute 100% to your expectation. I steered away because I work a crazy schedule only to find that the services, and treatment can not be found anywhere else. Prices are reasonable and their honesty and commitment are amazing. Unlike other salons when Bella technicians say they will guarantee and honor their work; they mean it! The level of moral and friendly environment is one I haven't yet found anywhere else. I went to this nail salon based on the great reveiws. At first it was wonderful, staff were somewhat friendly and accommodating as I had my 11 month old with me due to baby sitting issues. Things went ok through my pedicure and then my daughter became restless. So, I asked if I could pay for my services (manicure and pedicure) and return later to have my manicure done. They said yes and I made an appointment to return, paid and TIPPED them and went home. I returned without my daughter expecting (due to a very nice tip) great service and a good manicure (gel). Not the case! Nails had uneven coats of gel making them look wavey and crooked! He rushed so much that my cuticles were not even removed properly. Within two days the gel was chipping as was the pedicure polish. Very disappointed. Very disappointed,for the price they charge people, they should have a bigger selection of colors. I went for a pedicure and wanted a pink color, I can't believe they don't have pink, and I asked them if they can show me the new OPI and ESSIE summer colors, they didn't know what I was talking about. How can you not keep up with the new colors.... for the prices they charge they need to be up to date on all. service was very good, and the place is very clean, that's why I gave it 3 starts, but for the owners they need to replace all empty bottles and maybe put the new colors for every season on the side for customers like me who like to try the new colors of the season. Apparently when you have plenty of clients you can afford to be rude. My best friend and I walked in to get a pedicure and a manicure. We were greeted not with a smile asking what we wanted. We said a manicure and a pedicure. The "boss" guy said do you have an appointment and we said no. He could have said no problem, or ok we do have a wait just to let you know but instead he looked down without saying a word and looked annoyed. We asked the lady if it was OK for us to stay and she said you have to ask "boss".  We then asked if we should leave and he said in a sassy tone "you could wait". After paying $35 for gel polish, I would hope that it would last more than one day. Not the case. Next day, top coat had cracked and my nails were burning. Went in to have it removed and they were insistent I was the problem as no other customers had ever had that issue according to them. Also insisted that they had to drill the top coat off, which I've never been told in all my years wearing gel polish. According to another nail tech I consulted, the top coat cracked because they used something incompatible with gel in an effort to make it last longer but in the end it didn't last past a day and caused a burning sensation. Refused to refund my money saying I could put gel back on once they soaked off the cracked top coat. Not sure why they would suggest putting something right back on my sore, damaged nails other than to say that they offered me an alternative option. Had they offered me a gift card for future use or to come back in a few days once my nails stopped hurting, it may have seemed like they actually cared that my nails were damaged by their work. I won't patronize an establishment where they cut corners, use bad product, don't respect their customers time and want to use a drill whenever possible in order to work quickly, but with no regard for the health of their customers nails. I normally go to Nail Cafe across the street, but they were closed. So I decided to try Bella Nail Spa. The salon was nice and everything was very clean. They even had disposable liners for the pedicure tubs. And all of the tools were sealed in autoclave sterilization packets. I'm deducting one star because the staff wasn't very friendly. They weren't rude but seemed to just go through the motions. I'm deducting another star because my gel manicure only lasted 2 days before they started to chip. Made an appointment and went in 10 m early. I was called to sit in the chair ten minutes after the appointment time. Sat with my feet in the lukewarm water for another 40 MINUTES with no service. To appease me during that time every ten minutes they would bring one item and walk away. They brought the towel. Then the scrub. Then the blue tablet they put in the water. I've been here several times and I am always happy with the service. They aren't warm fuzzy but the service is fantastic. They do the SNS gel nails which dry instantly unlike the light cured regular gel nails. I've had manicures, pedicures, gel nails, SNS gel nails and acrylics here and have never had any complaints about how they look. Make sure you call for an appointment tho as they stay pretty busy and wait times can get long for walk ins. We will be back! Read Less

This was my first visit to Bella. It was chosen by the group I was a part of for manicures and pedicures. I can't say the staff was particularly friendly or inviting. I asked for the basic pedicure and after we began I was told that the basic did not include removing any dead skin off my feet. Keep in mind I go somewhere else on a regular basis and had just been in the last 2 weeks. How much dead skin could there be?? I upgraded to the deluxe because I had a special occa...sion the next day and wanted to be sure my feet looked good. A minimum of time was spent with no leg massage (I get a wonderful one at my regular salon) Just slapped on some leg "gel" and a hot towel. Very little was done to cuticles or trimming nails. Guess that comes in the next package upgrade!! And it was $10 more than I typically pay. Had a fill (I have acrylic tips and asked for the shellac polish which typically is indestructible ! I was fascinated by the SNS powder dip and I will be interested to see how it holds up. I am very disappointed by the nail polish. I was there on Friday and by Sunday the polish was chipping off 3 nails. My daughter was with me and her toenail polish had chipped on both big toes before we even got to our special event on Saturday. All of her fingernails are chipped and peeling today (Monday). This was a very expensive trip with little to show for it 3 days later!! Came with my daughter for what should have been a fun mommy/daughter date. The tech seemed bothered with everything I asked for my daughter. Charged me $5 just to have her soak her feet in water for 5 minutes. I sat with her for 45 minutes after her nails were done. Finally asked about my turn & was told they have to take appointments ahead of walk-ins. I looked at the check-in sheet & there were 4 people taken ahead of me who had no appointments. This used to be one of the best places in Apex to get a pedicure. Just had my last worst experience at this place! The young lady did an awful job on a deluxe pedicure she was very rude. The "spa chairs" are worn & beat up. Been coming here on and off for the better part of a year now. In the beginning it was inviting, relaxing and worth the money. My past few visits have been less than enjoyable.  Two gel manicures and 2 regular pedicures set you back $100. My gel manicure on both me and my daughter would start to peel off in a matter of days. I made an apt with a particular technician before my vacation and when I arrived I waited for 20 min before I noticed she wasn't there. When I asked again if the tech was there I was told she went home sick. Why do you ask for my phone number when I book my appointments if you don't call me when there's a change? It is extremely impolite to take clients in when you do not have time. I did not enjoy pruning my feet in the water while waiting in for 50 minutes for someone to do my pedicure. I can't believe they let people sit in water that long. My feet had had enough water. I would have preferred them to ask me to make an appointment or give me a time (25 minutes, 30 minutes, ANYTHING) other than letting me sit there for almost an hour. I'm so mad! Read Less

One of the best places I have been too. I get acrylics because I am a notorious nail chewer. Other places I have been too have been unpleasant and the process was sometimes painful. This is one of the worst nail shops I have EVER been to. I went in to get a french manicure and my friend got some acrylic nails. The owner told me that someone would be with me in a "minute" and to pick my color. After finding a color, I stood around waiting for someone to take me. After about 15 mins, I was over it and I was about to leave. As I was putting down the color and about to walk out the door, the owner shouted something in what was probably Vietnamese and someone urged me to sit-- Strike 1While getting my nails done, the lady didn't even crack a smile or say hello, how are you doing, how's the weather, or anything-- Strike 2This is the BIG one. So I had my nails done and after literally 1 day, my nails started chipping. And I don't mean like little chips either, I mean the french tips were literally coming off. I was soooo steamed. A friend told me that the lady probably didn't put rubbing alcohol on my nails before painting them and that's why my nails chipped. I was going to go in on Monday (I got my nails done on a Friday) to get them to re-paint my nails but I decided to just never patronize them again-- Strike 3!So I recommend that you don't come here!
