This was the worst mani/pedi I have had . Everything was rushed! You sit uncomfortably at a counter with your knees pressed against it. The old polish was barely taken off and the nail dust was left on my nails ! My nail polish looked like a 4 year did it! I asked them to fix it and they were annoyed. It cost 55.00! Not gel just regular polish.When I wanted a different color polish , I was told it was $7.00 more! Horrible experience! Save your money and go somewhere else! Read Less

I went to get a pedicure today, it was the first and last here... the lady was fanning my toes with a piece of paper and hit one of my nails that had polish on it. It created a huge chip I ask her if she could redo that one toe ( I should mention they are just French tipped). She was going to leave it like she didn't see it! I asked her to please take it off and start again and she just went right along with "fixing" it...... needless to say I'm either going to redo it at home or go somewhere else. This was my second or third time visiting. I like to give people the bennifit of the doubt. I have never had great service here , but today was horrible! I went today Sunday as an early Mother's day gift from my daughter. The pedicure was ok...not the best the lady was a little rough and didn't seem to understand anything I said. But the manicure was the worst. The woman was rude, and though she spoke English didn't seem to understand what I wanted or why I wanted the color o...n my toes to match my fingers....she had me pay before she would finish my nails and did a very sloppy job leaving paint all over my fingers. Not trying to judge but you have an INFANT exposed to those toxic fumes all day rolling around the store in a walker, so sad! Oh, and we if your Sunday special is going to be mimosa's to drink, you should probably actually serve them or at least teach your staff what one is smh...oh but the poor older lady beside me had it worse...they scammed her into a new full set then the girl doing the nails was terribly hateful to the lady because a male came and questioned her. I have had very many bad experiences in Winston Salem trying to get my nails done, as a cosmetologist who also does nails it's hard to find a place that follows all sanitary rules, are professional, has good quality that will last at least two weeks (that's saying something my nails are in water/chemicals constantly) and are just fun to be around no matter who you get. For a few months I've been making the extra drive to advance because revive nail bar is just that good! The service they provide is the best I've ever had in my 21 years of living in North Carolina. The people that work their treat me how I would treat my clients, like family. I get SNS and I go to get my nails done every two weeks mostly cause I want a color change cause I haven't had a nail chip yet! I'm probably the pickiest person ever (second only to my roommate, who also goes here!) but I love my nails every time I get them done at Revive. The polish is never too thick or patchy, and my nails are always shaped perfectly.The service is also phenomenal. Even when they're super busy, short staffed, and dealing with rude customers, they remain friendly and professional to everyone. They answer any and all questions and are happy to clarify things whenever necessary.They also have an adorable dog, Max, who roams around the shop and does his own thing. He's super sweet and sleeps most of the time, but it's worth mentioning if you're afraid of dogs.Overall I love coming here & will continue to support them. I am unsure how anyone could ever have a problem with this salon. They are always courteous and never rude. I know when I walk in that I will have to wait if I did not have an appointment, I though  that is common knowledge. People who have appointments come before me. They are the best nail salon around. They care about their work and their customers. The salon is very clean and friendly. I recommend Revive Nail Bar to everyone. I am always pleased with the services they offer. My sister-in-law and I were out of town and needed mani and pedi and eyebrows. The sign on the salon said walk-ins accepted and they told us that it would be a wait because we did not have an appointment. This was the worst place I had ever been to. The lady who ran the place was beyond rude (Southern hospitality?). She was visibly annoyed that there were so many people there. Nobody communicated with us. After 2 hours at the salon we only had our toes and eyebrows done. The rude lady who ran the place overheard us discussing if we had time before the wedding for all of these services and assumed that we did not want manis. She never even asked! After we stood around for a while because nobody communicates with you, we went to pay and asked about our manis. She said she thought we did not want them. She said sorry. The worst place! I never write such long reviews, but this one really deserved it. We all have bad days and sometimes we have to work on those days, but this is not how we should treat anyone. If I could, I would give this place negative stars and not one. If you can drive yourself to a different place, do yourself a favor and do that because salons are supposed to be pleasant, not painful. Read Less
