Horrible , they are unprofessional and rude , there was a guy there last summer that did a decent pedicure but for nails good luck hot mess. I went today for a pedicure and I already had my hands done from my nail place but I didn’t have time to get a pedicure yesterday so I went here today because it is close by, NEVER again , the daughter or whoever the young girl is has a naaaasty attitude, I told her I needed a pedicure but I needed to match my feet To my hands so before anything to make sure she had the color she said yea yea we have it , I started looking for the color because she didn’t even check she went straight to setting up the pedicure tub with water , I couldn’t find the color I again told her before you continue please make surety have the color so she brought back the only 2 yellows they had and I said no that’s not it , the name is sunbeam those are the ooo dark , she said it has to be because that’s all they have and I said no I got my nails done yesterday and I remember the name.she asked her mom and her mom didn’t even look she just tapped one of the yellows and said it’s that one and I’m like I know the name of the color, it was almost like they were questioning my intelligence, then the girl says “you can literally just test the color and see if it matches” in an attitude , first of all no because at that point my pedicure will already be done so I will have no choice but to put whatever color you have there even if it doesn’t match second , I literally rather go somewhere else. I held my composure and said “that’s fine thank you anyway” and began walking out , as I’m walking out she’s yelling “wow! Wow! Wow!” Repeatedly , I ignored her even though that’s is unbelievably unprofessional and rude and now I’m writing this review because I have never in my life had to deal with someone so nasty in a place of business, if anything me as the customer could have gone off on her for her nasty attitude, and the roles were reversed. I have going to Helen for more then 5 years ... small place but I love it ... and love my nails all the time ... I haven't had not one bad experience... wont change them for the world ... I suffer from in grown nails ... I'm free beautiful toe nails now ... haven't suffer since ... love ladies !!!! Read Less

Tried this place thinking it would be closer and much reasonable. Small and dirty. Overall not the best. 17 bucks for the pedicure aka soap and water with a polish change. The pedicure basin would not drain and the ladies were trying to unclog it with a pointy pedicure tool. Didn't bother me just thought it was very funny. Now we know where the tools go and how clean and modern they are! Sike. Gonna stick with my regular place despite the distance. At least they get the job done! Read Less

Andy did my nails and it was horrible I told him that I had already shaped them and he continued to file them and then they were all slanted and uneven I let him finish and the gel nail polish was all over my cuticles. Horrible experience with their service...very nice people but just not good with nails also this place is not very clean Read Less

The worst pedicure/manicure I've ever had. The woman literally cut my toe nails, slapped some lotion on, and started painting. When I Asked her how come she didn't do anything, she completely ignored me. Then she cut me twice on the hands. I left with dried blood. I will never go here again. Read Less

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I usually go to Canaan nails, but since I saw the check in offer I decided to give them a try, big mistake! I walk in and not a soul in sight, that should of been a indication. I wait for an employee to emerge from the back, i asked for a mani-Pedi and mention the check in special, she looks at me like I have 3 heads. Need your eyebrows done? DON'T DO IT. One star because I was forced to, they deserve negative stars.I needed mine done last minute and it was the most convenient place location wise.  The place is literally a hole in the wall.  Too much incense burning, daytime tv blaring, dirty floors, dirty shelves, dirty counters.  I go into the back room designated for waxing and it also is being used as a storage room.  The sanitary paper on the bed for customers had clearly been used by multiple people.  Why have sanitary paper if you're not gonna change it?! The ceiling tiles were stained, broken and/or dirty but most areas of the ceiling were actually covered with nasty plastic.  This place is so disgusting and I had to psych myself into staying because I REALLY needed my eyebrows done and NOW. The woman doing my eyebrows seemed to not have a CLUE what she was doing.  She didn't clean my eyebrow area before beginning and didn't have all her materials before beginning either.  The wax was cold and she took another 30 seconds to find the strips for each application.  She kept getting wax in my hair and strings of wax all over my face.  I seriously could have done this in my car. She plucked one (1) strand of hair from each eyebrow and cleaned my face with alcohol... BURN!!!! She was supposed to do that before not after, am I wrong?? She hands me a mirror to ask me if its okay and I looked EXACTLY the way I did before she walked in.  Oh, by the way... the hand mirror was extremely dirty and had a ton of random peoples' eyebrow hair all over it!!!!!! I could barely see myself.  I was upset but just wanted to get out of there because clearly I came to the wrong place.  On my way out I look in the hall mirror (which was surprisingly clean) and I notice that I had acne all around my eyebrows and even in between my eyes.  A woman getting her nails done looked at me with sympathetic eyes and at that moment, I didn't even want to pay the $6 for my eyebrows.  But I did and I ran.  If you like your face, I suggest never EVER even considering going to this place. Not going here again.  The nail tech was nice and there were a few positive points, but being as I was the only paying customer in the salon (along with a whole family of people associated with the salon sitting around), the service could have been better.  One of the relatives was playing a loud video game on his phone while I was trying to relax then argued with me when I asked him to turn it down.  Then the apparent owner/manager started watching some loud movie on her laptop before getting the clue (by my glare) that it was not appropriate.  It was really not relaxing, and I'm more likely to go to a "real" spa next time I'm looking to relax with a nice mani-pedi.Here's a tip:  If you own a nail salon and want people to come back, give good service and be courteous. Know people come to get services to unwind and take care of themselves.  The atmosphere should enhance not distract from good service. Read Less
