Just really poor service ESPECIALLY for the price. I no longer go there because i just can’t see paying all that money for such nasty attitude even if it was free I would not want to go back. The person who serviced me was also tending to the front desk at the same time, she cursed me out when I told her I came to relax and enjoy my mani pedi. She kept going back and forth and speaking out loud to the other technicians as she’s king my nails. And it’s not the first time I got very rude service. I gave them chance after chance because it’s a convenient location for me but I found a better place where the technicians have manners. It’s only a matter of time before this place goes out of business with this type of service the word will get out...but then again maybe they just want certain people there. ;) Well now you have it. I like this place.. Never waited long, beautiful set up, a lot of workers. Great selection of nail polish and very clean. Prices may vary depending on what you want. I always go for the Lavender Scrub pedicure, I love it.. I recommend you find someone you like and stick with them. Some workers are a little too rough with cleaning cuticles and massages. The place is clean, quiet, and relaxing but the nail technician (Liz)that did my pedicure was not friendly and rushed through my pedicure. I paid for a Signature Spa Pedicure which was done in about 20-25 minutes I expected it to be longer. In addition, are leg massage was more painful than soothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. This place is extremely overpriced for no reason. Just because the venue is nice does not mean the service and quality is. I spent $52 dollars on an acrylic, gel, full set that didn't even last me a week. The gel started to chip THE NEXT DAY and today all my nails broke off one by one, while I was just doing everyday chores. I should not have spent as much money as I did to have the result be this way. The ladies that work here are rude and very rough, they handle you like you are a burden and do a sloppy job at painting nails. Upon arrival you are greeted by the beautiful decor and space this salon has. The pillars, the molding, the arches, etc; it really has a luxurious look. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They always ask if you'd like water. The services are done by professionals who do a very good and most importantly clean job. One thing I would like to see are foot bath sanitary protectors for pedicures.  Their prices are average to above average. You can probably find cheaper in the area, but I feel that it is worth spending a few extra dollars based on the quality of their services and ambience. I got a mani and pedi from Olga and it was amazing! I did the av spa pedicure that so relaxing and left my feet feeling soft. For the manicure, my nails were looking rough and she did a great job buffing, shaping and making then look presentable. And the gel polish was applied perfectly. The interior is also one of the nicest I've seen with a nail spa, and Vu and the front desk was extremely helpful with recommending nail colors. This has been my staple nail place for the past 3 years. I am now writing a review after been ticked off during my last visit on December 22nd 2017. My usual appointment covers gel manicure, regular pedicure and waxed eyebrows with nail tech Olga. I have been a loyal customer to her and referred family and friends to the business. However on this particular day after getting my trio of services done, I paid my bill with cash which was $65. I received my change and proceeded to take out a few bills to tip Olga as I usually do. I handed her a $5 note and two single dollars as that's all I had available to give. Olga, took the cash and spread it out on the table in front of me and said "Only $7 today Miss, that's it? Only $7" before I could respond, she turned to another colleague and said something in Spanish and the coworker looked at me disappointedly. I was dumbfounded!!!! The audacity of this nail tech to demand more tip of my own money. Bearing in mind, it's already overpriced and I usually tip her $10 during each visit. I honestly could not afford it as it was nearing month end and I have bills to pay. I felt so ashamed for her ridicule of my tip. Management needs to fix this issue and have employees be more respectful and thankful for whatever tip they do or do not receive. I am now here on yelp seeking a new place to go to. Not a great to be honest.. had a manicure and pedicure and nails chipped after a day.. large salon but they only make use of less than a third of the pedicure chairs.. 45 min wait.. the lady who did my nails was obviously sick and coughed and wiped her nose throughout the service.. This nail spa is just so beautiful and the design is amazing. It is so luxurious so it wouldn't be surprise me that the prices would be high. Btw if you don't want to spend that much to do your nails go to a cheap place this place there prices are high because of how nice and rich it looks get over it ladies lol. Anyways I went there only 2 times the ladies that do nails are so sweet and nice. I like how they have a waterfall at the end and you get to wash your hand there. The tvs on the wall very nice. Wow they did really good on the design. The guy in the front desk has a little bit of an attitude but he never gave me a hard time or anything. Such a shame this used to be my go to nail salon, yet after a recent experience I will never return. As usual I walk in and the super unfriendly receptionist does not greet me but tells me to pick a color. I quickly pick a vinylux nail color. Shortly after I am greeted by an unfamiliar nail tech who must have been new. She was very friendly. However, soon after she started doing my pedicure it was clear she had no idea what she was doing which made me agitated and uncomfortable.As she was doing my toes a tech who I have seen before comes up to me and asks me a question very unclearly which I did not understand. So much so that I repeatedly said to her, "what?...what?..I'm sorry I can't understand you"....finally frustrated I nod,smile and say yes so she goes away.Once my toes were done that same tech who asked me the unclear question does my manicure. Which was a relief because she was pretty quick and good at doing nails. Once she finished after I paid ($30) and she hands me the nail polish bottles. I respond saying "no these are your bottles" then she immediately snapped at me (now speaking perfectly clear English may I add) saying "I ASKED YOU BEFORE AND YOU SAID THESE WERE YOUR BOTTLES , that's $10 more". At that point I was very annoyed. It was clear I did not understand her initial question and I felt as if she was playing games with me to charge me more. Seriously $10 more since it is your bottle? Which is fine I guess, but the way this was handled was so unprofessional and made me feel embarrassed. I said to her , "no worries, it was a misunderstanding I'll pay the $10". She then walked me over to the drying table and once again reminded me how I owe her $10 (even after I tipped her BTW). I then saw her talking to the receptionist staring and pointing at me.I was FURIOUS!!! I marched up to the receptionist desk (with wet nails) put a $10 bill on the table and demanded to speak to the manager. The receptionist who as mentioned before has absolutely no customer service etiquette responded saying to me "how can I help you? I'm the assistant manager". At that point I wasn't even going to argue because once I realized this young lady who clearly had no concern about her clientele helped manage this facility I decided I will never be returning.Once again I'll mention how I was a REGULAR customer. I truly enjoyed going to this nail salon until this experience and I will now never return. I sincerely think the "management" should really re-evaluate the way they treat their customers. Large clean salon. Slightly expensive for quality of services. Large selection of colors on wall display. Front desk will say they do not take appointments ... But they do for regular customers who call several days ahead. Walk-ins can expect wait times up to an hour. Sign in and ask for the wait time, leave and return when your time is nearly up... This is what most customers do which is why wait times can be rediculous sometimes even when you're the only one waiting in the front. Unfortunately, my last visit was not great. Wait time was an hour and then was extended another 30-45 minutes because my friend requested a certain worker. Nevertheless, the front desk was strategic enough to take us both back together so we would have a better experience sitting beside each other. The chairs for pedicures are under dim lighting so I'm not sure the workers were set up for success... It seemed like they could barely see what work they were doing. My polish was slightly sloppy and I left the salon with two inflamed toes. Both sides of my big toes were prodded and cut so deeply that I bled a little and am still in pain. Borderline infected... Although my friend did not experience the same. My manicure is nice. I went for the regular Mani pedi combo which was reasonably priced. (Pricing menu in photos.) I was asked if I wanted to add a $5 callus removal to my pedicure which I declined since usually the normal scrubbing during a pedi smooths my heels well enough. This time it did not, my heels were not given the usual treatment ... I think because I refused the callus removal upgrade. Anyway, I may return for Mani pedis in the future. Been going here for 3 years, giving double-digit tips and Christmas bonuses to the same technician. She left. Tried someone new. She left. Made an appt to try someone else. The lady at the front desk has entered my appointment time incorrectly a couple of times and had done so Again! When I arrived this time, she argued that I was wrong. I don't come all the way from Manhattan without making and confirming my appointment! She went to figure something out, returned to the front desk and got on her cell phone. I walked over to find out what she had figured out. Her response - "Oh, dont talk to me. Talk to him"(the mgr), who shared I'd have a 30min wait. Why make an appointment if I have to wait a half hour because YOU scheduled my appointment incorrectly. I left. But here's what never happened - no apology for the inconvenience, no admission of guilt, no recompense to fix the situation, and no urgency to communicate. After all these years, it's come to this - I will Never pay for poor customer service. Period. Sad. Read Less

I enjoyed reading how everyone complained about the rudeness behind the front desk. I thought it was just me. He talks to you while rolling his eyes as if I'm asking him to do my nails for free. We are paying and you're not cheap. I expect better customer service. The workers are amazing and sweet but the guy behind the desk needs to learn how to treat people. I was meeting friends for dinner and had some time to kill on a Tuesday evening.  I needed my nails done and checked to see if there was a nail salon in Ridge Hill where we planned to dine.  Anthony Vince came up online, I called and they were able to schedule an appointment for me within an hour of calling.The ambiance is very nice and you are offered a bottle of water when you are seated for service.  I had Julia as my nail technician.  She was very sweet and explained that the shape I wanted (coffin) and the nail I needed repaired would the $5 each.  I agreed and got a gel manicure.  It was my first time trying a shape other than square and I am very happy with the result. I came here with my sister and bestfriend around maybe 530pm on a Monday. It wasn't crowded but my friend said its the most crowded she had seen and it really was maybe 8 people in there. She says it's usually pretty quick when she comes there so idk. For one. The place is huge, there are TONS of chairs to do pedicures and manicures yet no workers. It makes it seem extremely empty and you wonder why it's taking so long to be helped.I maybe waited about 45 mins until I began my pedicure. I was even considering leaving because I just wasn't sure of how long the wait would be. When we wrote our names down we weren't given a possible estimated time. I went up and asked after a while though. The girl at the front desk seemed as if she couldn't speak momentarily because she didn't acknowledge our presence at all when we walked up to the desk. Honestly she was rude, uninviting and is the reason for it not being 5 stars. Not sure why she's working there as a receptionist if she doesn't want to greet or help people. Normally I don't cheat on my nail salon for reasons that will be mentioned below.My best friend & I were having a girl's day since it was Super Bowl Sunday.We were in her neck of the woods, El Bronx (yes, I said El Bronx & yes, I know this establishment is located in Yonkers), & this is the nail salon that she goes to.So I said screw it.For aesthetics & ambiance, the place is 5 stars.Everything else, sucks.I was frustrated through out my whole experience.The place was pretty empty for a Sunday which I found odd, because every other nail salon I've been to on the weekend is usually packed.I had my own color (yes, I'm that person that brings her own everything to the nail salon), but I had to help my friend pick out a color.They had a limited Essie collection.The OPI selection was bigger, but still seems like less than other nail salons.Didn't have to wait too long to be seated in the pedicure chair.My best friend and I were seated next to each other.They brought her a bottle of water but didn't bring me one.Apparently they give one to all of their customers, I didn't sweat it though because I had to tinkle anyway.While Gladys was preparing for my pedicure, I mentioned to her that I had the gel color powder on my nails & I wanted to soak them off multiple times.She told me that we'll do that later.I was confused because at my nail salon, if I'm getting a mani/pedi, they wrap fingers up before doing the pedicure so by time the pedicure is over, the gel just comes right off.But of course, silly me for being logical & efficient!No complaints on the pedicure.It wasn't the worst & definitely wasn't the best either.While my feet were wrapped up in the hot towel, she proceeds to take a nail file to start taking the color powder off of my nails & that's when I was starting to get super annoyed.I told her about 3 times before, "I would like to soak these off", "It would be easier if you just soak them off", "Don't file them off!"So she realizes that they won't file off easily, so the then wraps them up.My pedicure is basically over, so now we're going to spend more time taking this powder off of my nails.Luckily I soaked one hand off at home (I fell asleep before I could do both hands & I regret that now.So we get to the manicure station, and she start unwrapping my nails.The foil literally was on my fingers for 3 minutes.She starts pushing with the cuticle pusher, then she goes and gets the drill.Heifer, I told you no file why would you think I would accept a drill.She saw the look on my face and stopped immediately & went and got a bowl with some acetone.You would think this fancy ass salon would use the color powder technology or at least proper removal techniques.I inhaled so much dust from the other technicians using drills it's ridiculous.FYI: If you're getting a gel manicure, a drill should not be anywhere near your nails!So Gladys struggled to get the color powder off of my nails because she was impatient.This is how the removal process went:2 minute acetone soak.Pushing & Filing.Frustration.1 minute acetone soak.Pushing & filing.Acetone dip on 1 finger.Pushing & filing.Needless to say, she shaved down my nails & now we're both frustrated.While my friend was sitting under the dryer, they were cleaning up because closing time was relatively soon. (At this point it was 6:35pm - 6:40pm, closing time is 7pm)All the nail techs start leaving, so it's only the woman that operates the front desk that's left.At 6:48pm, she turns off all the lights.I understand you close at 7pm, but that's rude. We weren't imposing our stay, you took too long to get to her. She's supposed to leave with wet nails because of that?And why does a regular ass mani/pedi cost $40.My nail salon I can get a gel manicure & pedicure for that price.I can get a regular mani/pedi, designs on the ring finger, & my eye brows waxed for LESS.I feel like they're charging for the ambiance & stupid marbles they put in the manicure bowl.We were better off going to a nail salon in the hood with how we were treated.Pretentious business with horrible customer service.
