I have been coming to Chez Ann for the past year, after moving from Denver. Corine has been my go to gal for my cut/color/blowouts. Not only is she one of my favorite people in Buffalo, but she is beyond talented. I’m from New Jersey originally and we don’t mess around when it comes to hairI would never have expected such skill from someone so young, but she seriously exceeds anyone I’ve seen in cities large and small in her colors. I love her so much I booked my mom an appt... with her when she came into town. My mom never treats herself, and her hair needed some love. Corine did an incredible job giving her a cut, making her blond gloriously revives, and adding keratin to smooth it out. I’m a stylist as well as an esthetician whom recently left the salon I was working at to specify more in skincare over hair. That being said, I no longer work where hair is an offered service, and needed a stylist badly! I decided on a whim to try Chez Ann because it’s close to me. I’ve visited twice now, once for a cut, and once for color, and I can thankfully say I’ve found my new stylist Lynn is awesome! Ally has been my go-to hair dresser for over 8 years now. She truly is the only person I trust touching my hair. She is personable, sweet and hilarious. I have never left the salon disappointed. Horrible they lied to me. Try to charge me more than $200 on my hair they did a strand test with 10 volume on black hair for 5 minutes. They never washed it out when I didn't want it done by them and it never changed color it just smelled like a scented perfume would not recommend them the salon manager was completely unprofessional. The girl they had told he was going to do my hair and I had an appointment only at an hour to do a full head of highlights and die but she said she'd have to finish it the next day. Sometimes when I go to a salon I feel rushed because of other appointments so when I asked my hair stylist Corine Salemme if I could dye my hair a color that would take hours to accomplish, I was reluctant. I really wanted to do something different so I decided to just go for it and she stressed how much she loved the project and took her time and made me feel great. I wish I could give them half a star! I walked in to Chez Ann salon asking if they could remove my sculpting gel and apply a new set as well as soak off my daughters tips. I wasn't expecting them to do it right then and there I would gladly have made an appointment for a later date or time. The receptionist was so rude. Answering me with a cold no we don't do acrylic! So I told her this is sculpting gel and she quickly said we don't do that either. I said and soaking off tips? No was the answer to that too. I get many comments the day after I leave an appointment on how glowing and healthy my skin is after a facial with her! I decided to try Chez Ann for my prom hair and that was the best decision! Not only was my hair perfect when it was completed but it stayed perfect through the wind, humidity and sweat from all the dancing! I have referred friends in and our of state to Chez Ann over the years. I get so many compliments on my style and Ann honestly has giving me on trend styles that suit my lifestyle as I mature. The stylists are knowledgeable on products, hair care, and what cuts/styles work for my face shape and hair type. I've been to Chez Ann on Main Street on 6 occasions now. I've been very satisfied with my services every single time! However, the front desk staff continues to disappoint. Every time I call to make an appointment, they're condescending and short with me. In person, the front desk experience isn't much better. They usually focus more on socializing with one another than on the client in front of them. Overall, the ladies at the desk just aren't friendly and don't seem to be e...xcited about working there. This is not the type of service I would expect from a quality salon where I spend at least $100 per visit (usually more). As for the salon professionals, Ashley D. is amazing! Before she did my hair, I hadn't had my hair done professionally in years. She gave me the exact style I was looking for and clearly demonstrated that she cared about my concerns and listened to what had to say. I've also had my lashes done by Julie, who is an absolute pleasure to be around! She is sweet and very welcoming! These two ladies are the reason I continue going to Chez Ann.
