I just had my first facial in years and decided to try Polished. Nina was my aesthetician and briefly described the products they use. She asked about my main concerns (mild to moderate acne and aging) and then got to work. Covered with a heated blanket and listening to soothing music while Nina worked on my face, I almost fell asleep. I chose the Classic Spa-tini Facial, which is customized for your concerns. Nina applied lots of delicious smelling concoctions to my face and neck, massages my hands and forearms before siding them into heated mitts, and massaged my neck and shoulders. She even asked about my regular skincare routine and made some suggestions. Finally, Nina applied a luxurious balm to my lips - they've never felt so smooth! The atmosphere was hip and friendly. Nina was warm and professional, as were the other staff I encountered. They offered me 20% off as a new client, which was a nice bonus. One thing that surprised me was when I asked Nina when I should come back, she said 12-16 weeks! Any other time I've had a facial, they insisted I needed to come every 4-6 weeks. Nina said as long as I kept up a good skincare routine at home, 12-16 weeks was fine. I felt like I was not being oversold, which is always nice. I booked my next facial before leaving. Polished has their menu online - including prices. They also offer massages, waxing, body treatments, and mani/pedi. I found other places that were less expensive but saw many so-so reviews. I'm planning on scheduling a massage soon too. I could not think of one thing Polished could do better as far as facials go. Of course, we'd all love lower prices but compared to other, sightly less expensive facials I've had, this place is definitely worth it. Read Less
