They were cooperative and friendly everything was clean but they need to get additional training on doing the color gel nails. I has bubbles under polish and my cuticles. If you want a great place to do gel nails go to Kerry nails in Nanuet. 10% discount and card for 10 visits free mini facial. I came on yelp and saw all of the HORRIBLE reviews. I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I really needed a full set, and was willing to take a risk despite the horrible reviews. I will say they aren't the most welcoming when you walk in, but my advice would be to just treat them how they treat you and move on. My nails turned out AMAZING. Absolutely perfect and I was really shocked. The only thing that could've been done better would be some lotion on my hands... and as always I feel like they could've done better on my cuticles but I did get acrylics so it's kind of hard to tell. The  $19.99 poster for a mani/pedi got my attention. All the manicurist were busy when I walked it. Took about 10minutes before someone started working on me. The chair I was in, did not have the message setting. Hmm one of the reason I get my nails done is because of that chair!I got what I paid for essentially. Pedicure was rushed; time and care were spent on my feet. No reflexology either...... sadness.The lady who worked on me was a nice ladu, made small talks but that was the only positive. the man that was doing my nails was rushing . I did a fill in gel and it took him 10 min to do everything . The whole time while he was doing my nails he kept braging about how my nails look better becuase he did it . Which my nails was perfectly fine I just needed a fill in. Then when he finish he said okay done. I said alright let me go do a pedicure becuase I am paying card. He said "sooooo your not giving me tip? " I said what? He said I need my tip . I walked away . Had a pedi and fill.  I agreed to upgrade my pedi with the callus remover and got nothing more than the routine scrub so that was a blatant scam .   : (My mani was a disaster.  First I asked for an acrylic fill and she told me I "needed" to remove my nails and get a gel mani instead.  She was very pushy and started going to town without soaking me. OMG the pain!!! I was actually wincing and making noises in pain it was so embarrassing and awful.12 hours later and my fingers still burn from having my nails yanked off of me without soaking.This is by far the most painful experience I've had in my 27 years of going to a salon, if you can even call it that....it's a factory. She is excellent. I went the other day for a pedicure and gel manicure. First of all, the lady doing my pedicure criticized my choice of color. She then asked me if I wanted callous removal in my pedicure and I said yes. She did not do anything more than normal - if you could even call it that. As she proceeded to polish my toes, she got polish on my cuticles and not just on the nail - which also highlighted the fact that she did not properly remove/push back cuticles. My manicurist was not good either. My nail beds were burning under the UV light because it was taking her so long to paint my other hand. Extremely uncomfortable experience. When I removed my hand for the second coat of gel, it was obvious that the gel on one finger had not dried evenly. She completely ignored this and applied another coat - same result. She then continued to put the top coat over it. The very next day it started to chip which is completely unacceptable. I realize I should have complained there and then, but, after spending such a long, unpleasant, time in the salon, all I wanted to do was get out of there. My tip reflected the service which I received - and when I handed it over to the lady she looked at it and looked at me as much as to say "is that it?!" (It was still in the 18% region despite the terrible service). Not an enjoyable experience at all. Read Less

Very busy all the time. Pedicures are great and worth the extra money. Nail services and waxing also very good. I would not recommend this spot if you are looking for a relaxing spa loke expierence but if you need your nails done fast then this place is fantastic.Read Less

Avoid this place at all costs. One of the worst pedicures I've ever received. Lady cut so much of my cuticle that I bled and she just quickly wiped the blood like nothing happened and moved to the next nail. idk why everyone is giving such bad reviews for this place it seems okay. I get my eyebrows waxed here often and they do a really good job, always smooth and really clean. Yeah it does look a little shady if you're going for the first time but they still do a good job. As for the manicure and pedicures they're great too. The pedicure was really relaxing and they were really nice. Although it can be expensive for some people I'd say it's a fair price. Eyebrows are only 10 bucks and pedicure is about 35. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague!! I was treated like garbage and my nails were completely destroyed. I came here out of convenience a few months ago without reading the reviews because I wanted to try gel nails for the first time ever. Now, it may be partially my fault for not standing up for my own poor nails, but keep in mind: I had never in my life gotten a gel manicure or an acrylic manicure so I had no idea what the proper procedures were / were not. When I first walked in, I asked the lady at the door to tell me about gel nails, she vaguely explained what they were, told me a price, and I said sure let's do it!So I get shown to a manicure station, where a nail tech shows up and he tells me with no explanation that gel nails are actually ten dollars more than the lady at the front tells me they are. I tell him the lady at the front said they were less and he says no, they're this more expensive price.  At this point i'm seeing warning lights going off but still I'm like: ok, maybe she made a mistake, whatever. I want the nails enough that I agree. He starts working on my nails, doesn't ask me what shape I want or what length, and starts attaching acrylics! Here I assumed SOMETHING was up but he'd already filed down all my nails, and I figured, hey, he's the professional here, maybe this is what you're supposed to do for gel nails. He trims them down to like friggin inch and a half long square nails and I say: "that's too long, can you cut it shorter? I just wanted it the length of my natural nails" he trims it once, still way too long, so I make him trim it again, and he's already giving me attitude. Then he starts filing them square and I say "can I get rounded nails please?" and he says "You should have told me at the beginning!"You didn't ask buddy!! You literally started working on my nails after half a sentence of conversation and no questions about what i wanted other than color. So he begrudgingly cuts my nails down to still slightly longer than my natural nails, then shapes the gel, which ends up LUMPY both at the edge and along the flat of the nail. The nails are uneven lengths. He barely talks to me throughout the whole procedure and basically just grumbles at me when I ask him to fix things. Finally I just pay with no tip and get out of there and make a solemn vow never to grace that smelly, rude salon with my wonderful presence again.Later, when the nails grow out slightly I go to a different salon to get them removed completely because I hate them so much, and the nail tech at the new salon can barely get them off of me, and tells me that whoever did my nails was completely terrible. I sat there with my hands in remover for friggin 10 minutes and it still didn't all come off. Not only that, but he filed the beds of my nails down so far at my cuticles that there's still a DEEP visible ridge almost three months later between the new grown nail and the nail he filed down. Moral of the story is, trust your instincts when you think someone's doing something wrong, and if someone's being a dick to you just walk the hell out of there.DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Read Less

I am a student at Ramapo College about 20 mins away.  I was with my friend exploring the mall when we remembered that we wanted to get our nails done. We walked in, were told to pick out colors. So we did, and they just kept reminding me how my eyebrows are "No good". We went in for a basic mani pedi. We sat in the pedi chairs, which were so uncomfortable to get in and out of due to how close they are to the next chair over. You are basically greased pig wrestling. Once you plop in, they begin to upsell their stuff. She told me she "had" to upgrade my pedicure to the massage package, $36 mani/pedi, in which NO MASSAGE was received! The lotion was barely rubbed in. The instruments were the same ones used on the woman next to me. The lady kept cleaning the tools in my water! A little tip: your customers do NOT want to see or feel what just was cleaned off of their foot. DISGUSTING! As for the manicure, she went to clip my cuticles -- and there were already cuticles on it. From someone else. Because she did not start mine yet. All there was was a single paper towel to clean, collect cuticles, rub my hands, etc. Not relaxing at all. To crammed and loud. And not to mention the kids running around. 10/10 would NOT go again! This is the dirtiest, dirtiest nail salon I've ever visited. If this were a restaurant the health department would rate it a "D" and shut it down.  I shop at the Palisades Mall a few times a week and chose to forego my regular nail salon and have my nails done at Nail Pro out of convenience.  It was the sloppiest manicure I've ever received - total waste of money.  On top of my experience, the customer sitting next to me in the nail drying station showed me a cut on her finger which couldn't stop bleeding - the cut was caused by the manicurist cutting her cuticles.  The manicurist came over to wipe the blood, eventually removed the polish, put on a tiny band aid and told her to come back tomorrow and she would reapply her polish.  I hope this girl didn't return and instead rubbed Neosporin on her cut because this place doesn't properly sterilize their instruments.  What also struck me was there was no remorse from the manicurist.  Terrible. I came in today and asked for a pedicure and gel tips. I started with a pedicure first. The lady cleaned my feet ok. It felt like more of a rushed job. I could have done a better job myself.The shaping of my toe nails were ok too. Didn't require much work since a shape was already set.Was I am unhappy with is how sloppy of a job the lady did when painting my toe nails. For the 1st coat/layer she placed a thick coat up to the point where it was skidding off my big toe nail. I was sitting there dying. The continued to place a second coat/layer on using too much polish. I couldn't take it and asked her to please do it again. She did it again with the same sloppy work. So I just let her finished and paid and dos not bother getting tips. Please avoid this place unless you don't mind a rushed/botched job. Read Less

This is the dirtiest nail salon I think I've ever been to. Acrylic dust everywhere, crusty acetone bottles, etc. I started to look around after I had been sat and started to realize that everything was that dirty. The whole place reeked like moth balls - thankfully I was seated in a chair by the exit because the smell triggers my athsma. I got a regular manicure ($11) and my finished product was poorly shaped nails (still curved from being cut with the clippers) with a rushed paint job (paint on cuticles on half of my fingers). I was in need of a mani/pedi like a thirsty woman needing water in the  dessert: STAT!  My shopping companion and I had spotted this place while walking around and decided to stop in. I only started checking the yelp reviews and pictures once I was in the pedicure chair. Yikes! I was very fearful after seeing those pictures. However, the two Spanish speaking ladies that serviced my company and I were awesome. My cuticles are back to their former glory and my toes are cute little gems with burgundy polish.Now their polish selections are a bit sad. There are a ton of options but some nail polish bottles look about as dry as sand. The owner of the spot walked in halfway through my manicure and announced himself by crowing like a rooster. (You will think I am kidding until you experience it for yourself.) Although the cost of the mani/pedi was more than my usual 14th Street spots, it was a good job. The way my nail tech reacted to her tip made me feel sad that she is so badly tipped that my customary tip felt over the top. God bless her heart. One of the worst gel manicures I've ever had.  After painfully removing my old polish with the grinder and leaving ridges in my natural nail, the nail technician proceeded to mangle my cuticles. She painted over what was left of my cuticles and rushed so much,  she left bubbles on almost every single nail (which she buffed out and then complained about having to buff out). Not the best, but not the worst nail place I have ever been to. I have been here quite a few times always for a UV Gel Manicure with tips and they have done a very nice job. They do a great job on eye brow wax as well, and I am extremely picky about my eyebrows!I got a pedicure for the first time today, and I do have to say, you get what you pay for, it is fairly quick, no foot scrub, but they do a very nice foot and calf massage with a wonderful lotion. The man who did my pedicure was so sweet, reclined my chair for me, but did not understand when I asked him how to work the massage function on the chair so I just let that one go. He cleaned up my cuticles nicely, and the paint job was beautiful. He took his time and made sure I liked the color.Like I said, not the best, but not the worst. I was very shocked at how many negative reviews there were, and how negative they were! I'm not sure if they have come under new ownership but I have been coming here for several months and never a bad experience, let alone a bad experience like that!I did take away stars for the fact that the massage chair did not work (or he just could not understand me) and he did cut my toe nails a tad bit short but that doesn't really bother me. However, he gave me this AMAZING shoulder massage while my nails were drying and did not charge me extra for it. I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep! Oh my gosh! I simply cannot believe that this place hasn't been shut down. It looks filthy the service is well below the price range. I got quoted three different prices for a pedicure 17, 25, and 35. They also stop at nothing to get you to upgrade/ get more services. The pedicure chairs were old and dirty.  My pedicure ended up being so-so, but the real hack job was my gel manicure. I have to post pictures of my bloody cuticles and polish on my cuticles. If you enjoy this place I urge you to go elsewhere and see what you've been missing. Read Less

I was surprised to see the amount of negative reviews on this place.  I started using this place about a year ago.  I used to go to another nail salon in the mall (see my reviews) which was excellent for a while then they went downhill.  I like this place for several reasons:Service - with our without appointment they have a lot of stations so you never have to wait long and everyone does a good job.  My favorite person to do my nails is Andy.  He does the best french ever!Quality for the price - I have received similar service in the city near where I work for double the price.  For about 85$ I can get a spa pedicure, a gel fill, eye brow and lip wax.  That is amazing.  The spa pedicure is a 45 minute service, I really like the Milk & Honey one.  Your feet feel and look like a dream after.I have brought several friends here and they all seemed to be impressed with the quality of service for the money.
