I'm giving this place three because the service was okay. I felt that my manicure was rushed and the guy was just trying to finish so he can get back to doing whatever he was on his phone. He didn't even greet me kindly. He pointed to me and I walked over and from the second I sat down till the second I paid - I felt super rushed and weird. I can see why people have had bad experiences from some of the reviews. I only came here since another friend suggested it. I am NEVER one to write reviews, but this experience was so bad, I had to share. I had gotten an acrylic set put on at a different nail place and I didn't like the way it had come out, so I went to perfect nail off a recommendation for them to fix it. The girl Tina was the one who fixed them and she did an AMAZING job. My nails looked perfect, I was so happy that I decided I would use them as my nail place from now on. I went back a couple weeks later to take off the acrylic and get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The girl giving my pedicure was so lazy and rushed through I felt like she didn't even care how my toes came out, she just didn't feel like doing the pedicure. But I didn't even care too much about that. It was when I went to get my acrylics off. I had a man take them off, and while using the drill he BURNED THREE OF MY NAILS. He burned them so badly there was blood forming under them. And he blamed ME for that happening. Did not apologize at all for burning me. Then, on EVERY SINGLE tip of my fingers was still some acrylic left that he hadn't gotten off and he went to start painting my nails with the gel nail polish!!!! OVER THE ACRYLIC HE DIDN'T FINISH TAKING OFF!! So I told him there was still some acrylic and he grabbed the drill again and I told him no because he had burned me so bad my nails were so sensitive at that point and the owner had heard me complaining and came over and asked what was wrong. I told him there was still acrylic on my nail and the owner himself had to take off the rest of the acrylic because the man doing my manicure wasn't able to. How did he get off the acrylic? HE PULLED OUT A METRO CARD AND SLID IT UNDER THE ACRYLIC TO POP IT OFF! Yes, you read that correctly- A METRO CARD!! I'm so over this place already at this point but I just want my gel manicure to be done. I get the gel and it looks nice. BUT NOW, almost a couple weeks later the gel is starting to peel, like it does, but as it is peeling off, because he burned my nails so much and took away some layers from my nail, the gel peeling off IS PEELING OFF LAYERS OF MY NAILS WITH IT!!!!! I am in so much pain with this gel peeling it is insane to me. I cannot believe someone who does this everyday as their career is not able to correctly take off an acrylic set without completely ruining somebody's nails, making them bleed, and not even apologizing, but rather blaming the customer for the reason they burned them. I will NEVER go back to this nail place and I will never ever recommend anyone to go here either. Read Less

Came here for the first time this week and I can see why they have bad reviews but my experience was that bad. Michelle is the cutest!!!!! She did my pedicure and did a great job! I'll probably be going back just for her. I'm giving this place 4 stars because the girl that did my manicure wasn't that good. She kept messing up and two of my nails were bleeding bc she pulled off too much skin. She took her time and was trying really hard so I give her props but she wasn't that good. Used to love this place, just went down hill! They change the staff more than any place I've ever been! Gel manicure chipped in 4 hours!! Waste of money! Open for walk ins? Then you go in, sorry do you have an appointment, no ok come back in 3 hours - no thanks! Much better salons out there! Read Less

Very disappointed and will never go again! I picked a solid peach gel color from their book and the color on my nails was a very sheer almost clear light pink and was extremely thin which means they water down their polish. By the next day they all started peeling off and within 3 days was completely off! Never again Read Less

Got a gel manicure and within 1 day it started to chip. 4 days later and they're all cracking and look horrible!!! My color wasn't even the same color in the book it was lighter which means they water down their gel colors. The lady who did them had a nasty attitude too. I don't usually give negative reviews and I've given this place 3 shots but it always feels like a blow to the stomach. The owner or manager ( the man who sits in the first desk) is consistently rude. Never says hello and instead of just telling you they are busy and giving you another time he always looks annoyed. Like, why are you mad because you have customers? The times I've gotten my nails done here they're done fine. It's really just the service that totally blows. Read Less

I got my eyebrows and lip waxed and the girl that did it was so friendly but I'm not that happy with the results, both of my eyebrows are different and theres still hair on my lip where she missed, but its an okay place to go if you're just looking to get waxed quickly or don't want to spend a lot of money. ZERO STARS!! The owner of this place is a real asshole. He is so rude. I am actually shocked that they aren't full of negative reviews. Every time that I have been in there he has insulted me or someone with his nasty remarks. The last time that I walked in there an hour before he was closed and he said to me "Don't you see that we close in an hour, I don't have time to give you a manicure." & this isn't the first time that he has been rude to me. So I went to Leon's Nails and he had no problem giving me a manicure.Their quality of work is good, but because of his nasty attitude I now go down the road to Leon Nails where they are way more friendlier. I don't know who this guy is that commented before me lol, but I've been going to Perfect Nails ever since they opened when I was in 11th grade. Now, at 26, I travel from Bayshore because they are they only nail place I trust. The story this dude gave before me seems melodramatic. The people at Perfect Nails are very friendly, and you know how unfriendly and rude other nail salons can be, believe me I've tried a bunch. When I need to get my nails done, I can always guarantee a short wait, amazing fill-ins and really relaxing pedicures every time. Also, they're located right next to a wine & liquor store, so for me that's a nice combination as well! haha Read Less

Zero stars.....awful unfriendly atmosphere.. My wife went to the nail salon to have acrylic nails done.  The female owner of the business was who my wife had.  I met my wife there to help with our 3 year old daughter so she could have a moment of peace.  Instead she was treated beyond rude in every aspect.  I sat in amazement biting my tongue until the point where my daughter stood in the way of the female owner. I could not believe what I witnessed next. Unaware I was watching her she shoved aside my daughter without any thought. My daughter begins to cry out of fear and then the owner actually began to yell at her to stop crying.  I could not even make this up. A male employee witnessed the entire event his face shocked as much as mine.  I as calmly as I could confronted the husband and wife owners.  My adrenaline pumping I needed to leave immediately.  Please do not give this place any business.  They are lucky I did not call the police.  I witnessed someone pushing my child and I am having a hard time sitting on the issue.  I don't want to hurt anyone physically but I want everyone to know that they are not good people and do not deserve any business.
