I've been here a few times now, and generally I have a wonderful experience. However, my last visit was less than enjoyable. The woman who did my nails was very sweet and kind to me, and we chatted gleefully. I liked her a lot. It was Mother's Day, and I had booked an appointment for an adequate timeslot to have a spa pedi and mani. There were quite a few walk-ins, but I felt that because I was an actual appointment, nothing would be rushed. I had the most rushed, half-assed spa pedicure and manicure I've ever had. I did not feel pampered at all for the $105 I spent. No massage of the feet/legs, hands/arms. Just slapping lotion on quickly and I was sent on my way. Service is wonderful. I came in today to get my nails fixed after a bad experience at the mall. They are very professional and clean. The salon is very nice and well put together. I had my nails done by the lady who sits on the right side closest to the front of the nail salon. She was not very friendly. I tried to be sweet to her and make conversation but she was not interested. I tried to even ask her which colour she liked best and couldn’t be bothered to just try and be friendly. She only put two coats of polish on my nails which was for a light colour. My nail polish started to chip the next day and now I am less than 8 days in and my nails look horrible because the polish keeps chipping. I still tipped her even though I felt awkward and uncomfortable the entire time and really regret it now. I’ve never left a bad review for any business before and I hate to do it now but I feel sad that this was my experience. Watertown is 45 minutes away and I just wasted 30$ on a simple gel polish that is chipping away and it is not cost effective for me to drive back to ask if they will fix them. I felt as though it was rushed and no attention to the cuticles. Then when I got waxed she did sections and double dipped the same stick. This is on the gross side you don't know who they did the same or how long the wax is in there. Doubt they changed the wax out after me Read Less

My family was vacationing in the area and decided to all get pedicures! We looked for the best ratings, and this is what came up! My entire family had the worst service any of us had ever received! And we come from 3 different states! The quality of service we received was terrible! My 8 yr Old niece could have polished our nails better! The pricing was unbelievably outrageous too, you certainly do not get what you pay for! I got a spa pedicure and also had 1 broken nail that needed repair! I had just gotten a fill done 5 days prior, but by the time he was done removing my polish with the dremel, I needed another fill because he had filed so much off! He had also cut my fore arm with the dremel while not paying attention and tried to turn my hand over to dremel underneath my nail... which #1, all you had to do was ask me and I would have flipped my hand around for him & #2, pay attention to where the tip of it is! I didn't realize until after we left that he DID BREAK THE SKIN! When it happened he just kept rubbing my arm saying "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!!" I was so angry! I have been going to this shop for several summers. Things I especially like are the emphasis on hygiene and their honesty about client needs.  As with other places the expertise of the employees varies from superb to average but I have never considered any one as being poor.  I read some reviews and was astonished to see that some people were treated"rudely". There are days when they are very busy and thus less social but in general I think they try to follow the customers lead; if you want to chat they will. If you want quiet they oblige with that also. The technicians here are skilled and do an excellent job with manicures. However, I have never been to an establishment with worse customer service. One woman in particular is always extremely rude to me and even charges me more (for the same exact service) than any other technician there. It's not right for someone to make you feel uncomfortable, especially when you're paying them for a particular service. I'm someone who gets their nails done regularly (every 2 weeks) but the insanely poor customer service here has ensured that I will never return or recommend them to anyone. This is not a one-time-visit kind of review. After visiting the salon 15 or so times, I've experienced rude customer service every single time, a discrepancy in price, and blatant disregard for scheduling. I basically paid $25 for someone to rub oil on my legs and clip and pain my nails. They are supposed to massage you and I asked for extra attention to my heals and he said I'd have to pay $40 for that, but that is part of the service they are supposed to massage your feet and he said I'd have to pay more for that as well. This place has hard gel nails!!! If you don't know what I'm talking about just ignore me and continue getting Shellac gel nails, but if you're like me and love hard gels (or liquid gels as this place calls it) you'll be ecstatic to know that this place does them!!! They're a little pricier than what I usually pay (here they range from $45-60 initially, and $35-50 for fills), but they're literally the only place in the Ft Drum area that does them so I'm happy to pay it (plus these last me a month vs shellac that barely lasts me 2 weeks). The salon is very clean with nice decor, and I didn't feel rushed at all which was nice as well. The man who did my nails was named Thomas, and he was the perfect amount of small talk and just working quietly that I like. They also have a TON of gel colors to choose from, but that's pretty standard now with most nail salons. Even if this place didn't do hard gel nails, I've tried 2 other salons in the Watertown area and I'd say this one is my favorite. If you're one to get your nails done regularly, I would definitely check this place out! Read Less

We'd recently moved here & i went on a whim & several recommendations. Not only was the atmosphere calming & relaxing BUT there isn't an overpowering smell of chemicals. The decor is lovely & the music is soothing. Andy was welcoming & did an extraordinary job on my holiday nails. They're reasonably priced as well. Remember: you get what you pay for! I stumbled upon this salon while I was getting my car detailed and I'm super happy I did!! When I walked in, all the technicians looked up and smiled & I was greeted immediately. I didn't have to wait at all for a manicure. My nails were awful because I did a ton of gardening and landscaping during the summer. Ethan worked magic on my nails!
