I didn't quite get his name but he was a bit rushed it seemed and I was supposed to get the deluxe manicure. I just got the simple manicure minus the lavender and green tea stuff. I didn't want to say anything out of fear of looking like a jerk. I don't know his name, but at times he seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else. First of all, Hanna first of all was rude as hell. I was getting my toes done when she came in from Journeys and she flat out was disrespectful. It was so freaking jam packed, but jimmy and his family members attended everybody in a accordingly manner. Giving a bad review just because of the wait is wrong, it was actually crowded as hell. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They kept stopping our nails to work on other customers and what should have been a 1 hour process turned into a 4 hour process. Even though they have a card reader in the shop they demanded we take money out of the ATM (which they own) to pay in cash. I withdrew $200 and the machine gave me $180. I immediately told the nail tech and she told me if the machine gave me $180 that my bank only charged $180. I had to log into my account on my phone to show them my bank charged me $200. After huffing about it they retrieved the key to the ATM and gave me MY additional $20. Not only is this nail shop refusing to let customers use their debit cards in order to avoid being charged the fee it also appears they are using their ATM machine to skim money from their customers. I had a wonderful experience with this establishment. It is a great atmosphere especially being able to sit at the bar. All of the staff was so kind. I had my two year old son with me and they were so accepting of letting him sit next to me and watch his cartoons. Most establishments frown upon you when you bring your children, but they all adored him and he adored them. Ann was my nail stylist and I will continue to go back to her. I have been trying to find *my* nail salon in the area for 20 years. I've been to so many but rarely the same one twice as they didn't meet my expectations. I've been going to Mimi regularly for 4 months now. They are friendly, strive to satisfy and most importantly, they all do a great job. Go somewhere else! Guy quit doing my pedicure in the middle to work on someone else's nails that he knew, while I sat there with feet in tub! The whole time they kept ring to convince people to do more expensive treatments and gel coloring. When you go to check out, they say they won't take card, even thought hey have a machine. I just moved out here from Miami last month and decided it was about time for a manicure. I didn't bother to get a pedicure because aside from being boot season this place is outrageously expensive at $35 for a pedicure. Are you kidding me? I lived in a big city and pedicures are only $20-$25 but anyways, I seriously needed a manicure so I gave this place a try. BIG mistake! The staff not only lacks customer service skills they also lack technical skills.I sat down and my nail tech didn't even bother to use cuticle softener and when he went to paint my nails he was about to paint the color straight onto my nails without so much as a base coat until I said something. If I'm paying $15 for a manicure I expect to get a proper manicure not a half assed one! Not to mention the girl next to me had gel nail polish and they had her soaking it off straight from the container! Extremely unhygienic! I can't imagine how much gunk has collected into that little container from previous customers. Yuck! In conclusion, my nails came out super uneven and bumpy I'm severely disappointed. If I couldn't even give it a star I would, the man was nice but he charged me for a shape! Nails lovida never charges your $10 for a shape, I asked for round rips and he tried giving me a casket and they didn't even look like casket just round because I said no I don't like that and charged me! He charged me for my cuticles and lovida does not! Being so annoyed I was cashing out I gave Jim $43 that I just received for a return at jcpenneys, he said I owe $37 which I used my card, so tell me how my nails were suppose to be $70 and he made me pay $80?! I got a $35 pedicure. Personally I've had pedicures for less money, and same service. The lady that did my nails was very nice, and she did a great job with my pedicure. I would of really liked it if she had cut the side of my nails, but other than that the place was good. My nails were done on Friday August 5th. I got a fill in, gel color and my toe nail polishes. The overlay came off in less than 24 hours, it was too thin, he didn't even let me wash my hands, the gel polish is chipped as well. It was a bad job. Read Less

Horrible service! Not only are their prices ridiculous, they tried to trick me into spending more money on upgrades. They charge 5$ for callous removal and made fun of how bad mine were ( give me a break I just had a baby) and continued to be rude the entire time. Awful! They are freakin liars! I asked a simple question. Do you do uv gel fill ins? They said yes, I asked like 5x because I felt like he said yes too quick. I sit down and after its a point of no return I see he is using acrylic. I said why did you lie to me. I specifically asked for uv gel and you yes'd me to death so I can sit down.  And not even an apology, he was arguing me and telling me it's the same thing.  He was telling me just give me 25 and go now. This place is nice ONLY IF you get the most expensive thing they have! I went in for a regular mani & pedicure & they kept pushing me to get more stuff! I kept saying no & they were just so rude about & the guy kept telling me that I'm getting the most expensive one and I said no ! So as he finished up & I was going to pay he said my total was $115!!! I was extremely upset because how can a regular mani & pedi cost that much! I went with one of my friends for a "girls day" we both got gel manicures. The manicure took forever because the man giving me my manicure would NOT get off his cell phone. He kept stopping to text. The man that did my nails, I think his name was Jimmy,  did a really good job. I got a full set with a solid color cost $45 a lil expensive but I didn't mind since I usually don't have good luck with nail places. I also got my eyebrows done which came out really nice too. A lady did them for me but I didn't catch her name. That was $10. Only negative thing was the guy Jimmy kept trying to get money out of me. New to the area I was looking to find a new nail place, I decided to try this place because it was close to my house. First thing when I came in the guy abruptly said 35 or 45, and kept shoving those prices in my face. I asked for price listing and saw that there was a basic spa for 25 and that's what I aim for when I get my pedicures done. When I requested the basic spa he seemed upset and made some comment under his breathe. He then grabbed a timer and put 25 minutes on the timer and told me that I was only getting 25 minutes! This is the first time that has ever happened to me for getting a pedicure! Maybe it's something they do here in Watertown but I have never experienced being put on a timer for a pedicure. He watched tv during my 25 minutes and walked away for about five minutes at a time (three times). He rushed through my pedicure and hurt me in the process! Horrible experience! I love manicures.  I visited this location for the first time and wasn't impressed. I wanted a basic manicure and they kept on pushing for the gel manicure. I was told it would be $20 simply because my nails were long (they weren't long). So then the tech said it would be $25 for gel so I decided why not. I wanted a regular polish but he decided that a French manicure would be better for my nails.  It cost $40, and they didn't do a great job.  I've been to beauty schools where the students did a better job. I won't be back and will not be recommending them.  For $40, my manicure should not have been rushed though for how slow they were or botched up. Read Less

I love a pedi, but keeping things real in life... it's getting to be boot weather and not sandle weather.  With that said, we decided to get manicures!  I typically do not do mani's, but my sweet daughter does and well... this was her choice.These places are pretty much the same everywhere you go.  All I wanted was a simple, plain Jane manicure... nothing special.  Daughter wanted a manicure, with gel polish????  Being I'm not one for a manicure, I really didn't care to spend the extra money to have this gel polish.  However, these ladies are such good sales people!! Yes, they got me!  I ended up spending the extra to have the gel polish.  Only because they convinced me that it would last 2 - 3 weeks, instead of 2 - 3 days.  I work on a computer all stinkin day, so I figured with my fingers beating on the keyboard for 8+ hours I was gonna need my polish to last!The overwhelming smell of chemicals did give me a headache, but I guess that must come with the territory in a place like this!?! i went in there today to get my eyebrows waxed. i was referred there & told it was a very nice place and they did a good job. unfortunately, the woman who did my eyebrows messed up. the waxing costs 10$ and i left her a 5$ tip so i expected that they were done right. when i got home, i took a closer look and came to realize that one side was shorter and taken in farther than the other side. i called down there & then went in to have them check it out. they insisted to tell me i was wrong and that it was because my eyebrows had light colored hair. i have natural hair hair so i knew that was a lie. it was absolutely the worse service ive ever recieved. anytime i said something they continued to tell me i was wrong. where i come from the customer is ALWAYS right. i would not reccomend this salon to anyone who is thinking about going there for a waxing. I went here for a manicure with my two kids and a neighbor kid. The girls and I (7+) all got manicures. I also had my 2 year old son with me but I went towards closing time so no one was in the shop. That experience was pretty good. The cost was reasonable for all of three of us and we felt pampered. This last time I went, again the same crew went along with me and I was the only one who got a pedicure this time. I wanted to give everyone but could not and it was 2pm so I needed the girls to keep track of the little one. The price for the pedicure was $35 and then it was $40. I wasn't thrilled about my experience this time. I loved the pedicure! The guy did a great job but I suspect because some of the employees don't speak English the ones who do speak, speak broken English and Lee Nails uses this to their advantage. I think I was over charged or charged more because I brought my crew which behaved very well were outside sitting and eating however there was some yelling from them a few times. Honestly, wasn't that great.Wasn't bad either though compared to the fact that there's like... NO SALONS in watertown (sorry I'm a newcomer. I'm from the Los Angeles Area..so that may be why I'm biased.)The manicure was QUICK, almost too quick though. I just had it done a couple hours ago and my nail polish is kinda bubbly. And I sat there for a good fifteen minutes allowing them to dry..but oh wells.I had a regular manicure.. $14. Not too bad. They did use sterilized tools. Something I didn't like is the nail tech just wouldn't give up on trying to upsell me something. I'm a soldier. Having the hot oil treatment for an additional charge doesn't really help me.. my hands will look the same the next day. Dude didn't get it though. Whatever, all in all..
