Went in a group of 3, 1 manicure 1 gel manicure, 1 full set - all terrible. Manicure- terrible top coat and chipped after 1 day. Gel- all wrinkled, 1 nail in particular had to be fixed 3 times; they burned her by the third time and it still was not of quality. Full set- did not understand the shapes, overly angled one side of the nail, and over filed the top of the nail, making them all too short. Nail tech was rude the whole time, two days later one nail broke and I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed (I wasn't in the area and they had to do another color, so add another $10!). $40 for acrylics with gel overlay is far too much, even with the best of nails! Went to get a regular manicure yesterday the lady was very nice to me until she realized I was getting regular polish verses gel then consistently asked me (I counted) 8 times if I wanted gel and gave me such an attitude the entire time for getting regular polish just to raise the price. She belittled me and even when I complimented her on her black top she had a monotone response. I tip whenever I can but definitely gave her no tip because she just wanted me to get gel so I could pay more. I do not recommend going here at all I understand business needs money but attempting to annoyingly look down and snobbily bully their guests into getting something more expensive is completely absurd. I truly was so excited! I had heard wonderful things. Walking out disappointed. Walked in it’s beautiful. Chairs are comfy and inviting. Staff not so much 2 sentences spoken. 40 dollars 20 minute pedicure. When done not a single word spoken walked away and got someone else. Saw a nail appt done in 10 minutes. Not worth the money. Please, take my advice, never go here, EVER!! The worst service and the worst staff. My toe polish was off in under a week and my gel nail polish too. The salon is dirty and they don't care. They don't carry OPI and fortunately I had brought my own color (funny bunny), the mutant guy that did my nails laughed and said the color was ugly. Yup, that's right! 30 DOLLARS for the WORST gel mani ever.Notice my middle finger and the way it was horribly&unevenly filed. Not only is it ugly but because the lady filed the one side too short, it HURTS. I told her I didn't want her to file anymore, she yanked my hand and kept filing.She kept giving me excuses as why it should look this way. Hated the way my nail tech did my nails, I expressed my concern as he was doing them and he didn't stop to fix my concerns instead told me to take the nail file and do it myself!!! Wanted to like this place.... it's really pretty on the inside and it is clean and sanitary. However, I had an appointment for my first visit here today. No one was friendly, the woman doing my nails didn't even bother to say hello. She cut and filed my nails without asking what shape I wanted and I barely got any massage. The woman doing my toes was slightly more friendly, but didn't ask if I wanted the nails cut at all (I did). The hot pink color I picked out turned cherr...y tomato red, so not even close to what I wanted. The pedi I picked promised a green tea soak, a masque with hot stones and towels, and a massage with hot stones as well. None of which I received. To top it off, it hurt. IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD. I TOOK MY DAUGHTER HERE FOR A REFILL AND THEY MADE HER BLEED. Her cuticle was cut then when she flinched and the technician saw the blood he smiled. Didn't apologize! Put something we believed to be an antibacterial treatment and continued to work very rough on her nails. He then, put the acrylic over the wound trying to cover up the fact he cut her. My nails started literally falling off, FALLING OFF MY FINGERS. LESS THAN A WEEK THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE PLACE EVER TO GET YOUR NAILS. I WOULDN'T GO BACK EVEN IF THEY PAID ME. BUYERS REMORSE, BUYERS BEWARE. Went to have a mani and full set with daughter. They were very hesitant on it but we instead. While there I was never asked what shap I wanted. My daughter asked for hearts and got flowers and she kept asking the lady where are the heart but was using her Bluetooth instead. While I was getting my full set they got glue all over my finger. Then when the filled my nail I was cut buy the file. Then she barley try getting it off of me. Then had my nails painted they looked okay but wasn't okay how it was being done. Worst service I've ever gotten. The woman doing my nails payed more attention to everything going on around her and the people coming in then she did on my nails. All of them were uneven, some sharp that I'll have to take a file to later, and there's nail polish all around my nails. Paid $38 and I really didn't want to even pay that. This was the worst gel manicure I have ever had. They clearly are trying to rush people in and out to make more money. The lady who painted my nails basically painted all of the skin around my nails as well. Then she tried to fix it at the end by filing it down. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. It was nice at first, I was hoping for a larger color selection but that didn't make me want to leave. I sat down, the lady was nice, and then it became bad, fast. I waited the ENTIRE TIME for a foot massage with my PEDICURE and I never got one (most nail salons give short lotion massages with even the cheapest pedicure package and it was listed on their menu.) When I asked her about it, she said she already did it, which I know she didn't, but I didn't press the issue, I was already mad. She forgot to file one of my toenails so I literally have just one long toenail on my left foot that does not match the others. The thing that bothers me the most right now, is that i stubbed my two big toes at work so the nails were very short... let me tell you... THIS LADY PAINTED MY SKIN TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE I HAD A LONG TOENAIL. You're probably reading that sentence over because you can't believe it so I'll give you a second. SHE PAINTED MY SKIN. I will never ever go back. I should have listen to the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it..." I'll be going to First Lady Nail and spa on RTE 57 in Liverpool or JP nails in Cicero from now on, they do a great job at the same price. If I could give this a Zero, I would. This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I don't know where to begin..it was a quick and shotty job. The acrylic was all uneven, all over my skin and over my cuticles. My nails weren't filed, they were all uneven and different shapes and lengths. After she put the polish on, I had to have it redone, and it was with an attitude. She told me to pick a different color cause this color was the problem. I told her I wanted this color. She was pissed she had to repolish. The whole time she and I believe the owner were talking about me. I have a phone translator and I saw everything they said about me. Which is funny, because my nail tech was laughing with her mouth wide open with her cracked and brown teeth, which was even funnier to me :) had to take my nails off 3 days after I got them done. Wish I could give this place a ZERO, they are undeserving of a 1 star. I should've known not to go there when there was a lady standing inside, upset and calling the police on this place. I continued in and was told to sit at a kiosk, once I sat down NO ONE acknowledged me; I sat there waiting until some rude lady came and lifted my hands and shoved them in a bowl of cold water. She had me pick a color from their Gel color board; I picked 1 and she said okay, then realized they didn't have it.. This happened THREE times. So finally I said "just give me what you have that's a baby pink"; she started doing my manicure, cut my cuticles.. Made me bleed, She also cut my nails and filed them to where they looked slanted when you look at them. She started doing the gel nail polish on top of my existing clear polish that I had on my nails, she never removed it so I had to tell her that I had clear nail polish on and she needed to remove it before doing the gel. She then decided to take a drill to my natural nails to remove the polish instead of just using acetone! & I hate when they do this, but they kept talking in another language and it was so rude! Once she put the gel on, there were many places she had missed with the polish. When I mentioned to her about her missing areas she got really mad and said it was my fault my nails are messed up? How does that work?! All I wanted was for the nail polish to flow evenly and properly on my nails! she then decided to tell me to GET OUT OF HER SHOP! & that all I wanted was to have a free service done! I kept saying over and over that I was a paying customer and I just want my nails to be done properly. NOPE. They wanted me out for calling them out for doing a SHITTY job. Now I see why that lady called the police. These people are CORRUPT. Oh and They don't have any licenses displayed and when the lady on the phone was asking for one they decided to ignore her and not give her any official licensure. Call ahead for an appointment, especially on the weekend, because they are always slammed, and for good reason! I needed a place that can do a good job on my calluses (ewwww) and be welcoming to my 11-year-old daughter. It's SUPER clean, very nicely decorated, and the techs are all great. They have a kid rate and are very kind to my daughter and give her special treats, like flowers or snowflakes on her big toes. GREAT massages with any of the pedi packages. Haven't done manis yet, but promised my daughter we would next time we do girl time. Great location for us, too. Nail Trix in Destiny. The WORST experience ever. Went for a pedicure $25 one  he talked me into the parafin $35 one. Started cutting cuticles and took too much off big toe on rt foot and 4th tow on left foot.  I  started bleeding and it wouldn't stop he put some stinging  stuff on and it hurt so bad,  scrubbed my skin right off my back heel till it bled. Gave me a 5 second leg and foot rub  and did the worst paint job ever.  I  was in and out in 30 minutes.  It was horrible I would never recommend this place ever. Read reviews before going there. Thought I would try this place not the best idea. Very small selection of colors and the ones they had were old. I asked for a design and the man did a horrible job so I made him take it off he then gave me the sample designs and he couldn't even do that so I again made him take it off. As for the pedicure it wasn't bad he spent a lot of time massaging my feet and legs but as far as painting and designs save your time asking for s design and bring your own polish! Read Less

I had a couple awful experiences at different places. I decided to try No 5 Boutique, walked in without an appointment and they fit me right in. Young was amazing, we laughed the whole time. Not only did he explain everything but he took his time, paid attention to details and gave me everything that I wanted. The decor is beautiful, the salon is absolutely clean and sanitary. DO NOT GO HERE! Got tips done and the actual tip is not attached to the nail on most nails, I have to go to another salon to get it fixed. Tried to go back to get them fixed and they looked at me like I had 5 heads! They told it was my fault, because my nails were too long (isn't it there job to cut the nail?). They tried trimming the nail with cuticle cutters to fix it, and this couldn't do it. Then sent me away. I told the manager what happened, and she looked at me like I was crazy (again). I will never be going here again and I recommend others don't either. I have been getting acrylic tips for years; here, they charged me $5 extra because I keep my nails shaped to a narrower tip (rather than the square tip), which I have never experienced in my years of getting tips. My technician then proceeded to insult the condition of my hands and nails (my hands were apparently "too dry" and my nails yellow form years of keeping my fingernails polished). She also spent the entire time talking on her bluetooth and did and awful job on my nails.This was all annoying but not detrimental, but then came the time to pay. Their credit card machine broke and I did not have cash, so they forced me to go to an atm nearby and take out cash to pay them. I then asked them to take $4 off of my total to compensate for the $4 ATM fee and they refused, acting appalled when I asked them to do so. I payed them the full total, but I regret paying them at all. Needless to say, I did NOT tip (and it should be noted the I am usually a very generous tipper). Terrible! There is a laundry list of things that were wrong with this, but there's the main ones mentioned below. She used non-sterile equipment on me, and my massage for my manicure didn't even last long enough to let the lotion set in. She didn't do anything but push my cuticles back; no trimming. She kept telling me to get a gel polish and made fun of my short nails and definitely tried to overcharge for French tips. Once dry, I noticed multiple flaws on half of the nails and had to basically force her to redo them. Even then she didn't do a base coat and kept telling me nothing was wrong with them. I know how to do my own nails but occasionally  I will like to be pampered so I went to this salon. First there was people arguing and cursing. Then when the lady  didn't know what I tell her she started to soak my nails to remove them Instead of just filling them. She took a file from her drawer which I know  that should be using a sterile one for the first-time for  every client but they still use dirty ones clients i was like fine all this cheap shops do it. However when she started she cut me and I was bleeding. She just kept on filing. I had to stop her. When she was done SHE PUT THE BLOODY FILE BACK IN THE DRAWER!!!!  I was like wtf I call her out on it and she acted like she can't understand. The nails are cute however they are lifting on day 4. The owner was seriously the RUDEST woman I ever seen in my life!!!! I will never as so much even look at that place when I go walk by it! My nails lifted real bad within a few days of having my nails done and all I wanted was a little fill on 2 corners of my nails.. THAT'S ALL!! She brought 2 girls over to me so I could point out what one did my nails (very akward that was) I couldn't remember who did them. She told me it would cost $5. I asked her how come I was even being charged, she told me they only guarantee 2 days! She only stands behind her work for 2 days. What a shame! Keep in mind that I brought my daughter in there as this was going on and my daughter was having her nails painted that ended up chipping off 2 days later (go figure) The owner did nothing but argue with me and treat me horribly, she would rather stand there and treat her customers poorly than to comp $5.
