I gave them a few chances because I live nearby but I can’t anymore. The last 3 times I went I was talked to VERY rudely, if they made a mistake with the shaping of my nails or messed up the polish they didn’t care to go back and fix it, and if you don’t give a tip large enough for their liking (I certainly didn’t because I received poor service) they just might try and run after you out the door!!! Great experience! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. All of the nail technicians were very friendly, even the ones who did not provide any services to us. I went there today because of the recommendation and they were REALLY nice but they didn't give me the pedicure that I am I used to getting in SLC ... I am a Flintstone and my favorite part is the callus razor they use to get all the dead skin off the bottom of your feet !! I called and asked if that was included and they said YES! When i noticed that they weren't including that part I asked ??? The lady said thats illegal!! I said well I called and asked and she said yes it's included!! I love CT Nails. Helen does an excellent job and I have tried Three different nail places in Ogden. I used to like Fresh Nails, until I saw the oriental women treating a white employee like dirt. My friends and I went to miracle nails for my birthday to get some pedicures. It was the worst experience I have ever had. We walked in the door at 11am on sunday the place was empty. A man comes over to us and we tell him 3 pedicures two of them gel and he immediately says $45 for gel. That was no problem, so we sit down and feel rushed the whole time. Every single worker was on their phones. My pedicure came out horrible and lasted maybe 15 minutes. For paying $45 i could have done a better job. Not relaxing at all and will NEVER return. Expertly run, noticably clean and organized! Popular location, and for good reason! The staff here are exceptionally professional and enjoyable to be around. The prices are great and the color selection is extensive! Just a tip, bring cash with you as it helps the staff save money by not having to run your card, especially twice for a tip. The first girl said she was going to do the polish change then said she was taking a gel manicure. So I waited 5 mins for a girl coming out of the back. After my first experience I decided to write this review. I read the other reviews first. My experience was very similar to the women who were also disappointed. The man who did my spa pedi never introduced himself or tried to engage me at all. He looked to the side out the front door the whole time. My friend next to me got a spa pedi too. I was watching the woman doing her and all of the treatments she was getting I wasn't. He was hurting me too. I got the tap too when he wanted me to move my feet. Afterwards we went to the drying table. Both women on either side of me got the massage with a hot towel. He came to me and with one hand he went through the movements to appear to massage one shoulder again distracted. I turned to him and asked why I wasn't getting the heated towel and the other spa worker told him to go get it. He did but it wasn't worth my time. He pretty much put it behind my back and pulled me back against the back of the chair for 30 seconds. He wore a white v neck undershirt which is very tacky. All the other men wore Abercrombie shirts. Afterwards we compared notes in the car. I never got the scrub brush over the toes or the citrus scrub. We all got a certificate for $10 next time without complaining so the woman who got one after complaining was supposed to get one automatically so she shouldn't feel like she got compensation. I liked the quietness. The employees were not chattering to each other in another language and even when the phone rang the people answering were respectful and spoke quietly. This place could be so much better. I was there last weekend for a manicure and pedicure- I was one of 2 or 3 customers. He kept asking me to have spa manicure and ped and I just wanted a regular one. He was annoyed. I was rushed through the whole thing. I'm talking like 30 minutes from start to finish. Saw a lot of great reviews so I decided to go in on my lunch break to treat myself. The woman who did my nails was very friendly but was in a rush to get me out it felt like, and there wasn't anyone waiting. I didn't really look at my nails until I left and got into my car, and I have never been so disappointed in a nail service before. She did gel polish on me and the color is on my fingertips and gooped up into my cuticles. We stopped here on our anniversary getaway. It was my husband's first pedicure! They were well priced ($30 for a deluxe pedicure, including wax!), the techs were very friendly and did a great job, wonderful massages, and the owner was super nice and chatted with us while we waited for my toes to dry. So as nail salons go they are friendly, efficient, do a nice job, but are rude as hell at payment time. They watch you complete the tip portion of the credit card receipt and then say only...$$? Then proceed to tell you tip is 20%. Last I knew service was tipped according to service received and purchaser determined what seemed appropriate. I know a lot of food servers rarely get the 20% they work so hard for. Another in our party of three wrote $2 as she had cash in her pocket for the remainder she was tipping and got the same reaction. She only tipped $5 on her $45 bill and I tipped $9 as I felt on the spot by the young lady. I did however receive a hot towel massage that my friend did not, as our nails were drying. I came in here to get my nails done before my wedding. Also my eyebrows. The place seemed nice enough at first the lady was friendly at first but they asked me to pay before they did my nails. I can understand so that you don't have to dig in your purse. Well apparently they didn't like my tip so the rest of the experience was pretty terrible. She grabbed my purse but forgot to grab my jacket after my nails were done so I had to grab it myself. Of course I smudged my nails. She just muttered under her breathe in whatever language they speak and just gave me attitude the rest of the time. She waxed my eyebrows with the least effort possible. Went to get a pedicure this morning with 3 other people and the experience was awful! The place was so dirty but we decided to stay because I had a gift certificate. When I went to pay they refused to take my certificate because it was purchased at the Oswego salon. They said it now has a different owner and they cannot accept it. The certificate clearly stated 3 locations it could be redeemed at and had no expiration date. That is not my problem and I feel that they should of honored it. They were so rude about it and the women at the counter tried to reach into my purse to get out the certificate after she refused to take it the first time. It is not the cleanest place and seems a bit overpriced for the services. On first impression, it seemed relaxing, I was greeted warmly and sat in a chair within minutes for my mani/pedi.  They used a straight razor on my feet which I know is a Big no-no in the nail industry. The massage was wonderful though I wished she focused more on callus removal, preferably with a new, clean nail file and buffer.  The manicure was average for a 'free' addition to my $45 pedi, but I was appalled by the old nail clippings and stray hairs on the towel my hands were on, that I got to stare at the whole time. This was my first time at this salon. I made an appt and was excited to get my nails done close to home. First of all I am not too particular about my nails, but the man who did my nails was absolutely AWFUL for the following reasons:1. He buffed my nails without even looking at my nails2. He painted my toenails (base, color and top coat) in 2.5 minutes. (Not kidding)3. Rather then trimming my cuticles, he pulled the skin, hurting my fingers4. He Filed my great toenails unevenly, and slathered so much nail polish on it that it dripped to the side of the nail. A mani and pedi took him 30 minutes!!!!5. Didn't even introduce himself, he would tap my legs when he wanted them in or out of the water.So of course after all of this, I went up to pay and told the woman at the desk that I really did not like my service and showed her my smudged nail. She made him fix it which he was happy to do. But honestly, my toenails looked better when I walked in with 3 week old polish then when I left. I've gone there several times and each time I say I won't go back! I had a manicure and the women never cleaned up the cuticles and 2 of the nails were stuck to the skin when I was finished(gel nails). Had an AWFUL experience here. I got a manicure and a pedicure and they were finished in less than a half hour. The man who was doing my nails asked me for a tip before he even started my nails and I would not have tipped him $7 if I knew how awful of a job he was going to do. While I was getting a pedicure the guy was careless and cut me, I tried to let it go but then he did it pretty badly during the manicure too. After leaving already highly unsatisfied I developed a fungal infection all over my feet that I'd never had before. It really f#@%*% up my feet. My nails are still warped from this experience and look terrible. I'm embarrassed now to even show my feet to anyone. Don't go to Miracle nails!!! My mother and I have gone to the nail salon in shoppingtown mall for years, and we got tired of the lack of professionalism and the quality of the pedicures there so we decided to try miracle nail near the wegmans in dewitt NY. It was so clean, we were seated right away, and the spa pedicures were very long with great massages and hot stones! While we were drying our nails we got massages in the chair, as does everyone there. They just run it very smoothly and it was a big difference from what we were used to. Also, they gave us a 10 dollar coupon each for our next visit which I thought was really nice and maybe for the holidays!Anyways, we recommend this salon! Read Less

I can't even give this place a star.  I came at 9:00am with an elderly gentleman who uses a walker.  When we walked in they were still setting up.  There were 8 to 9 employees ignoring us.  We finally seated ourselves in a pedicure chair.  I then attempted to get their attention yet again and they told me they open at 9:30!!!  Their website says 9:00 and the doors were wide open at 9:00!!!  When one of the woman finally gave my friend the pedicure she scalded him!  They completely ignored me sitting there with nail polish and immediately took a woman who walked thru the door.  I will never return to this place and I feel bad for anyone that wastes their hard earned money here. My friend and I paid for two manicures here with a $35.00 gift card. The total was $30.00, and we got $5.00 in change. Our nails came out splotchy and uneven, so we did not tip. We left the salon and as soon as we got about a foot from the door, we were being yelled at by two of the manicurists because we did not tip the two ladies. I started coming to this salon last year. I love Jacky, he is the absolute best. They are so organized and almost always have an opening. They go above and beyond even for just a gel manicure. They take their time fixing your nails, don't charge for gel removal, and give you a light back massage at the end. I go every two weeks and get a spa pedicure and gel manicure for $60, and it's so worth every penny plus a good tip. Read Less

LOVE IT HERE!!!! The atmosphere is relaxing, very soothing and elegant.  A large crystal chandelier graces the center of sofas, the bathrooms are immaculate and elegantly styled. Large TVs with American movies are placed strategically on the wall always with large subtitles. Your always greeted with the receptionist/manager immediately when you walk in the door, everyone is pleasant and smiling. James did an amazing pedicure with foot massage, while my toes dried, he surprised me and worked miracles on my back with a hot towel.... fairly priced!! Grace is amazing as well! The last 2 eyebrow waxes I have had here have taken my skin off.  The girl is very aggressive with rubbing the paper towel not tissue.... rough paper towel over your just waxed brow.  I now have scabs under my eyebrow.  They need to be more gentle.  Something so simple could improve this experience.  Please tell the girls to be easier on us!!! AVOID THIS PLACE! I have a scar on my face because of them. I was here with my sister's wedding party getting our manicures and pedicures with five other people. One day we all did pedicures and a few got waxed. I waxed my upper lip and during the process, they tore off a one inch by 1/4 inch area of skin on my upper lip. I'm laying looking at the ceiling and the lady is muttering 'OH - I never make bleed before...' over and over again. She put some of that blue antiseptic stuff on it! The disgraceful owner of the place kept stopping me and studying the dent in my face and gave me some cream to apply at home. I had already paid and she would not give me money back. Two days later, we were scheduled to come back to do manicures (cause of tanning, don't ask :) -- I went along with my sisters and met the rest of the wedding party, just cause I didn't want to make a fuss on my sister's day- three people were already there and that same bag of an owner told my sister she would not give her tips on only two nails, she had to pay for the whole set. My sister has really long nails naturally but two broke - the lady told her she either had to cut all her nails or put the fake nails over her longer nails. She wouldn't budge. Declined doing what she wanted. We walked out - they would rather try to get that little extra bit of money from a whole set and would let three people walk out. The ladies that did our hair and makeup for the wedding told me something about how if a salon tears off skin it is because they keep their wax at too high a temperature to save money or something and it's a breach of the health code - that I should contact OSHEA. Save your face and have an actually pleasant experience getting your nails done - go to the nail place in Camillus. I can't say strongly enough how the quality of work is poor, the owner is condescending and hateful, and they only want your money. Read Less

I have been to this salon because of its convenience on a few occasions. I would say the service is fair at best. Some of the time I have gotten decent manicures and pedicures, but not on a consistent basis. Some days you are lucky if the nail technician even looks up at you, except to ask for their money of course. Also ASK how long the wait will be, 10 minutes really means at least 20. Also don't be afraid to tell them if they are hurting you, even if it means getting a look like you just offended them. The quality of the mani/pedi will quickly disintegrate, but at least you can stop them from drawing blood before it is too late. Not a place that you feel you can trust for quality, consistent service. When you get ready to leave, know you will have to figure it out on your own if you need to get shoes and socks back on; once they get your money, you are invisible. Read Less

Ive never written a review before, but I was so disappointed with the quality of work, the professionalism of the employees, and the price was not fitting for such shoddy work. I went in to get Shellac, and called before hand. I was told I wouldn't need an appointment. I showed up and waited the obligatory ten minutes, then was sat down with a bowl of acetone to soak my polish. I was left for 20 minutes, far too long and unnecessary, as Shellac polish only needs to be soaked for 5-10 minutes, then pushed off with an orange stick. After 20 minutes of no one attending to me, I called over an employee, I was told to keep soaking. Frustrated, I decided to do it myself as i could be sitting there for an hour more, and began to pick off and remove the shellac nail polish with my thumbnail and a bit of paper towel. During this time of waiting on anyone to start on my nails, 2 others were served before I could get anyones attention. Seemingly forgotten. When i was finally retrieved form soaking, I was told I did a good job taking off the polish. After my manicure began, the technician proceeded to sloppily jab at my cuticles without soaking them, thus leading to two bleeding spots. I also noticed that the cuticle clippers were neither sterilised before or after. Then the filing began, it turned out very sloppy and irregular, all varying lengths and shapes with the technician even roughly filing down the top of my nails as if she were preparing for acrylic nails. I already have somewhat thin nails, and I saw absolutely no reason to do this. The process of the shellac polish and UV light was irregular for each hand, not follwoing a typical procedure you would get from a better salon. All in all, I felt very frustrated throughout and the quality of the manicure was poor quality, I didnt see any tools used on me being sterilised or even cleaned. If you dont care too much about the shapes of your nails and just want someone to paint your nails, go for it. But if you actual want a sterile, skilled manicure worthy of $40, dont come here. Ladies, I am not one who bashes a business before trying to get it right with the business. I did try ones again and feel appalled by the way customers are treated. I had my nails done at a Miracle Nails in B-Ville for several times. After I was made aware that there is a product which would sustain for up to 2 weeks, I ask the nail technician if it was safe for my nails and would not soften them. I was assured that the product is absolutely harmless. After receiving the third treatment and taken off the product, my nails started to crumble, split and peel. I am over 60 now and always had very strong nails all my life. I eat right and do not miss any vitamins or minerals. I decided not to get this nail treatment again. Out of curtsey I went to the salon to raise awareness benefiting future clients. I feel insulted by the technician who turned from friendly when receiving her tip to rude!
