I have been coming here for years to get my eyebrows waxed and have historically had a very positive experience. When I get a wax I am very specific to NOT make my eyebrows thinner and to just clean them up. This past time the girl made my eyebrows SO thin I can't even describe how upset I was, especially after being so specific upfront. They charged me 28 dollars for a pedicure. The woman didn't scrub my feet on the bottom at all, she clipped the nails all unevenly, and didnt even paint my toes correctly. The polish is all off the nail. Horrible place! Read Less

I've been here several times, always during the day and during the week as to avoid the typical weekend rush. The service is nice, staff is professional/friendly. There is a significant language barrier but I appreciate when my technician tries to chat with me....I'm in and out in a timely manner and my gel manicure always lasts until I just can't stand looking at the grow out at the bottom of each nail. I went here with a friend that has been here before and highly recommended this place. My review is based on the charges that appear on my credit card from this place. I had a $10 manicure and charged it on my card. A few weeks later I was looking through my statement and noticed a $15 charge from Madison nails, I was very surprised because I tipped cash which I always do when getting my nails done therefore the only charge should of been $10 not $15. They decided to tip themselves an extra $5 dollars on my card!!! If you have been here before make sure to check your account so that you are not charged extra!! I love my mani and pedi!! Lily did an amazing job.  The salon is quiet and relaxing. I had the best gel manicure and pedicure in a very long time.  Great service, great ambiance, and in and out in 90 minutes.  There is no doubt that I will be back. Read Less

Getting a pedi right now... moved here from SF... they use the same buffers and files on everyone. the pedi is $28 compared to my place in SF that was in a great neighborhood. The woman is hurting my feet. They have a tiny selection of OPI... but they have another brand that costs $5 more that is supposedly better? I too think you should avoid this salon.  Manhattan manicure prices with mediocre service.  I was expecting a bit more pampering since they are much more expensive than the multitude of salons in the area.  The manicurist didn't even soak my nails before toying with my cuticles. The salon is clean, but very outdated.  There are some great salons in Scarsdale and Bronxille and in between, where you definitely get more for what you pay for. Read Less

I had written a review about this salon, but it was mysteriously deleted. My experience was a not good one, so instead of being contacted with an apology, my review was taken off for the sake of making more money, which I think is a little distasteful. As result, I am giving 1 star instead of 2 (from my prior review) because of this.  My original review:My manicure and pedicure altogether lasted about 15-20 minutes and the lotion messages lasted 10 seconds. For a moment, I thought that the place was about to close, but found out that it was open for another couple of hours. My husband got a 15-minute message, which he said was not very good. We could've been treated much better with the greetings, treatment, and price ($65 for mani, pedi, and a quick message). Honestly, I like the way my nails look, but I really disliked how everything was rushed to finish the job. The fact that we didn't receive that "spa" experience from a pricey nail salon in Scarsdale is just aggravating. And no, I didn't get a message while my nails were drying. Not even help removing the twisted towel things in between my toes. The "frequent" spa goers from the neighborhood seemed to be more welcomed. DO NOT GO HERE.  I called to confirm the price of a pedicure and when I arrived an hour later at my appointment time I not only had to wait nearly 1/2 hour but was charged $3 more for the pedicure.  I paid the higher amount and while i was waiting for my nails to dry a woman sitting across from me told me the same thing happened to her.  On top of that, the pedicure was nowhere near as good as others I've gotten for less money. Great pedicures given here, with a side of message while you wait for your tootsies to dry.  $25 is a great value for the service and it's quick! Walk-ins are welcome, they do manicures and fills for acrylic here too. I plan on trying a mani next. Read Less
